Easter Centerpiece

It may seem like I am rushing things by starting with Easter crafts, but I am ready for Spring to be here!  Plus it is only a month until Easter so I can totally validate making Easter things in February :)
Here is my centerpiece for my dining room table...
The "wooden" crate, the carrots and the label on the front are all elements that I made from paper.  I cut them using SVG's from three different kits from SVGCuts.  The crate came from the Caramel Apple Pie SVG Kit.  I used craft colored cardstock and a woodgrain embossing folder to make the crate look realistic.  Then I used a chalk ink pad to bring out the embossed woodgrain and finished it off with little brads to look like nails in the crate.
The label on the front of the crate is from the April Avenue SVG Collection.
The carrots came from the Hippity Hoppity SVG Kit.  I also embossed them with different embossing folders.
The best part of the carrots is that they are actually little treat holders!  The top opens up to let the goodies come out :)

All the light pastel prints were from the All About Me stack from DCWV and the darker green prints were from The Guy stack and the Amber Autumn stack, which were both from DCWV as well!  I had a lot of fun coming up with this idea for the bow themed project challenge on the Northridge Publishing site.

I hope you enjoy my centerpiece as much as I will through the Easter season!

ETA:  3/8/2013 This project was chosen as one of the 4 grand prize winners of the Challenge from DCWV and Northridge Publishing!!
