Perfect Posy Birthday Cards

The other day I was simply inspired to make a card using one of my all time favorite sketches that originated from OWH.  It is sketch #123.  I have made different cards using it, so if you want to see some others, click HERE, HERE or HERE.
I used patterned paper from Fancy Pants' MEology 6x6 stack.  So many vibrant colors in that stack!  Then I had to choose a die cut to finish it off.  I chose a flower from Miss Kate Cuttables to match the red flowers on the paper.  The stamp is from Whimsy Stamps.
I created this card using a different background paper.  Which one do you like better?  The floral background or the patterned?
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

  5. very pretty card. seen yours on a miss kates showcase. your name also 'caught my eye'. i was born in 1950 and named after a little girl kathleen fiscus, who died in a well. don't see the name very often and wondered if your 'husband'? or 'you'??? have any knowledge of this child?
