Happy Birthday, Jodi!

Today the SVG Attic I-Team are taking over the SVG Attic blog to celebrate Jodi's birthday!  She is the main designer for the files that are on the SVG Attic website and wow, does she ever create amazing things!  Here is the card I created to celebrate her birthday.
I started with the double diamond fold card base from the JGW Welcome to BOO-Ville set.  I then used the Farmer's Daughter mini quilt block from the JGW Quilt Patch Minnies set and rotated it 45 degrees to fit on the front of the card.
Here is the card all folded up to mail.  The wooden buttons, sentiment stamp and thimble charm are all from Oriental Trading.  A bow of Twisted Lime Trendy Twine was the finishing touch.  All papers used on this card are from DCWV's Minty Lace stack.
Please join in wishing Jodi a happy birthday on the SVG Attic blog and see what all my other I-Team sisters have created for her!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Quick Cranberry Christmas Cards

Good morning!  These cards are similar to the ones I posted on Monday, but I used DCWV's Cranberry Christmas stack on these.  I absolutely LOVE the color scheme of that paper stack!  It really made some elegant cards, even though they were quick to make.
On each of these cards, I used Gina Marie Designs' Stitched Rectangles and Scalloped Stitched Nested Rectangles to create the layers.  The paper with these word squares on it made these cards so quick!
Rhinestones and pearls on all of these cards are from Oriental Trading.  I used the following Trendy Twines for embellishing:  Cranberry, Midnight, Totally White, and Totally Red.
The panels with the words on are popped up with thin foam tape.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Quick Christmas Cards-Version 1

Hello all!  I am all about making FAST Christmas cards this year!  Actually these came together so fast that I almost feel guilty about it ;)  The papers from DCWV's Christmas Plaid stack are what made these so easy to create!
I simply selected the page with these wonderful sayings on it and fussy cut them out.  I then used various dies from Gina Marie Designs' Stitched Rectangles and Scalloped Stitched Nested Rectangles to create the layers.  (If you haven't checked out her dies yet, you really need to!  They are super reasonable!!)
I accented the cards with Nuvo Crystal Drops, Rhinestones, and Candy Cane and Holly Berry Trendy Twines.
The panels with the words on are popped up with thin foam tape.
What do you think about my quick cards?  They sure were a time saver for me!  I will have more posts to share later with similar quick cards.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Christmas Sleigh

Hello crafty friends!  It is my day to post on the SVG Attic blog.  I have always loved the Santa's sleigh in the Holiday Cheer Gift Boxes set, but hadn't ever made it, so I decided now was the perfect time!  The papers I used for the sleigh itself are from DCWV's Cranberry Christmas stack.
What is a sleigh without a little decoration?  I added the wreath from the gift tag in the RW English Cottage kit to both sides of the sleigh using papers from DCWV's Christmas Plaid stack.  The bow is Cranberry Trendy Twine.
Now on to the treats!  I added some homemade peanut brittle into the sleigh itself using a topper from DCWV's DIY Gift Decor stack.  Then look at the picture below...there is a secret compartment below the sleigh that you can fill with more treats or a gift card like I did.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
