Trendy Bakers Twine~Fall Tin Tie Bag

Hello all!  Today I am on the Trendy Twine blog with a sweet fall treat bag.  It showcases our monthly spotlight items of  Totally Pumpkin Trendy Twine and a Kraft Tin Tie Bag.

I started with a Kraft Tin Tie Bag and added patterned papers from DCWV's Fall Gathering stack.  I wrapped Totally Pumpkin Trendy Twine around the green paper before adhering it to the bag and tied it into a bow with long tails.  For the focal point, I used a Round Crow & Pumpkin Vintage Inspired Tag that was matted with more patterned paper and edged with more Totally Pumpkin Trendy Twine.
At the bottom of the bag, I stamped a sentiment from the Happy Thanksgiving stamp set in black ink, then filled the bag with candy!  Doesn't this make a lovely fall treat?!

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Purple Blended Card

Hello and happy Wednesday! I am on the SumMore Fun blog today with this purple card.  It uses the Raisin Boat Growing Love and No Loss For Words stamp sets.

First of all, I used Scrapbook.com Violet Group inks (Mardi Gras, Parisian Purple, and Soft Lavender) with a blending brush to create the blended ombre background.  I then used a GMD triburst stencil with Mardi Gras ink to add the pattern to the background.  I stamped the dandelion and dots from the Growing Love stamp set with white pigment ink and heat embossed with white powder.

The sentiment was from the No Loss For Words and was also stamped with Mardi Gras ink.  I added a black mat die cut from a GMD loopy rectangle die and embellished with GMD Iris sparkle glitter dots.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Mickey Themed "SheetLoad of Cards"

Hello all!  I think we all need a little bit of happy in our lives right now, so what better theme to create with than Disney?!  These 6 Mickey Mouse themed cards are inspired by the November 2020 SheetLoad of Cards from Crafty Al.
Here is a close up of one of the cards.  The products I used include the following: Sizzix Stars and Swirls embossing folder, Simple Stories Say Cheese 6x6 paper pad, Echo Park Smiles from Ear to Ear stamp set, Celebration Trendy Twine, and The Paper Studio arrow stickers.
The Mickey head silhouette was cut with my Silhouette Cameo in black and I also cut a shadow of it in yellow.  For the sentiment, I used my embossing buddy, stamped the sentiment with VersaMark, and heat embossed with white powder.  Once I popped Mickey up on the card with foam tape.
The inside sentiment is pictured below.  I stamped it in black, Cardinal Red, and Rubber Ducky inks from Scrapbook.com to carry on the same color scheme as the front.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Rustic Sunflower Card

Hello all!  Happy Wednesday!  I am posting on the SumMore Fun blog today with this pretty fall themed card.  I don't know about where you live, but we have been freezing (literally!) in Nebraska. Hopefully you are able to enjoy the fall weather and temps longer than us.  The stamps I used are the Victorine Originals Large Sunflower stamp and the Raisin Boat No Loss For Words stamp set.The red rubber Large Sunflower stamp will be retired from the SumMoreFun website soon, so grab it while you can!  It is definitely a favorite stamp of many.  To recreate the card I made, you can use a toner ink pad to stamp your sunflower, then foil, stamp with regular black ink, scan it into your computer, then print it out with a laser printer and foil, or even stamp with embossable ink and heat emboss with gold powder.  The end results will all be quite similar.  My foiling didn't turn out perfect as the foil wrinkled in a couple of places, allowing the black toner to show through, but it is a rustic card, so I thought it worked well!  Next up, I watercolored the image with Distress Oxide inks in the following colors: Squeezed Lemonade, Wild Honey, Fossilized Amber, Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain, Peeled Paint, and Lucky Clover.  I wiped off the excess ink from the foiling with a paper towel.
I ink blended around the edges of the image with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide.  Once it was dry, I sealed the ink with Mod Podge acrylic sealer to prevent ink transfer.  I matted the image with brown cardstock then wrapped Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine around it and added a small tag with a sentiment from the No Loss For Words stamp set.  After adding a bottom layer of distressed patterned papers, The card was complete!  In the photo below you can see the shine of the foiling.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
