Lego Ninjago Halloween Costumes

Halloween is getting so close!  I am thankful that we figured out costumes for the boys before the last minute.
They love Lego Ninjago and were thrilled to see Oriental Trading carries those costumes!
My youngest son chose Kai for his character.  The mask can be found HERE.  These masks have a mesh area where the eyes are so they are comfortable and they can see through them easily.
My middle son chose a Lloyd mask and my oldest wanted to be Jay. They each got a set of
Child's Ninjago Lego® Hands to make the Lego look more authentic. Oriental Trading also had Halloween Shadow Character Tote Bags that had matching colors as the Lego characters, so we had to get those as well! The clothes that they are wearing were ones that they had in their closets :)
As you can see, they LOVE these costumes and can't wait for Halloween to get here so they can show them off!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Confirmation Card

Hello all!  Happy Wednesday.  Today is my day to post on the Victorine Originals blog with this Confirmation card.  I used colors from the Victorine Originals mood board challenge to create it!
I started by taking a long acrylic stamping block and smudging Distress Inks in Fired Brick, Spiced Marmalade, and Mustard Seed on it.  I then generously spritzed that with water, flipped it over onto a piece of Canson XL watercolor paper and let it set for 5 minutes with a heavy book on top of the acrylic block.  The colors are so vibrant and beautiful!
When that was totally dry, I stamped the VO Congratulations on your Confirmation stamp onto it using Versafine Onyx Black ink and my stamping tool. I embossed the sentiment with clear embossing powder.  I added a little bit of white gel pen in the flame as well.  For embellishments, I added Totally Black Trendy Twine and GMD Enamel Dots.

Remember, we have this mood board challenge going on right now! Here is the inspiration photo for it. You can use the pictures, theme, and/or colors to enter.

Trendy Twine~Halloween Treat Sacks

Happy Tuesday! I am sharing these fun Halloween treat sacks on the Trendy Twine blog today.
I stuffed Large Treat Sacks full of Halloween goodies from Oriental Trading.  Those treat sacks really hold a lot!  Then I created toppers using papers from Crate Paper's After Dark 6x6 pad and washi tape.
I wrapped Lime Orangesicle Trendy Twine around the center part of the topper and added a tassel that I also created with the Lime Orangesicle Trendy Twine.  I used a bow of Totally Pumpkin Trendy Twine to attach a charm from Blue Moon Beads.
The sentiments are all from APB Happy Halloween stamp set.
The finishing touch was to add Lime Licorice Batty Sequins in the top right corner!
Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Lacy Card in Pink

Happy Monday!  I hope you all had a relaxing weekend.  Today I have this lovely card to share with you.  The background strip of paper is watercolor paper with homemade embossing paste tinted with Distress Ink Sun Sugar reinker.  The stencil I used on that is GMD flower petal collage.
The focal point was created with the gorgeous GMD Lacey Lattice Square die set and a GMD Big & Little Pierced Chain Heart die.  The sentiment is from the My Mind's Eye Honey Happiness stamp set.  Embellishments include GMD soft pink pearls and Pink Midnight Trendy Twine.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
