SheetLoad of Butterfly Birthday Cards

Hello all!  I'm using some of the downtime between Christmas and New Year's to catch up with some cards I know I'll be needing in 2022.  Today I am sharing this group of feminine birthday cards created with the December 2021 SheetLoad of Cards sketch from Call Me Crafty Al.
All of the patterned papers on these cards are from The Paper Studio's Boho Vibes paper pad. It is one that I absolutely LOVE but have barely used, so I wanted to remedy that!
Other products used on these cards include Pink Fresh Studio fancy label frames dies, Cottage Cutz Kayla butterfly die, and circle puffy stickers from Dollar Tree that look like enamel dots.
The sentiment is from a retired Raisin Boat set called Flourishing Thoughts and was stamped in black ink.  In all, this made 9 beautiful cards!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Merry Christmas!

Good morning and Merry Christmas!  Today we have a group post on the Trendy Twine blog full of Christmas goodness.  Be sure to check it out!  I created this shaker tag for my project.
This was created by making a window in the front and adhering two Large Tag-Its together with foam tape. The front is a White Large Tag-It with a die cut a square out of it and clear acetate glued on the back side.  I punched the hole in the top of the tag larger and adhered a Candy Cane Trendy Page Dot.  The word dies are Spellbinders Peace Joy & Love and I added a layer of 2" double sided tape to the back before die cutting so those thin pieces would automatically adhere to the acetate.  It worked great!  I then used Bearly Art glue to add bits of Candy Cane Trendy Twine to corners of the window and Jolly Shaker Medley to the tag.
The back side is a Cranberry Large Tag-It and I kept it pretty simple.  Another adorable Candy Cane Trendy Page Dot because I think that print is so darn cute, and sentiments from the APB Merry & Bright stamp set that were stamped in VersaMark and heat embossed with white powder.  As I mentioned earlier, I added 2 layers of foam tape to the front tag creating the shaker portion, added Jolly Shaker Medley and put the back tag on.  To the top of the tag I used Candy Cane Trendy Twine through the hole and also tied a bow of Totally Red Trendy Twine that is visible from the front for a little pop of color.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day and a blessed Christmas!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Non-traditional Christmas Card

Good morning!  Today I am on the Trendy Twine blog with this Christmas card that features non-traditional colors.  This is the first time I have ever paired these colors together for a Christmas card, but I am happy with how it turned out.  It features our twist of the month, Twisted Lime Trendy Twine.
The focal point of the card was created by stamping the image and sentiment from APB Merry Christmas stamp set with VersaMark and heat embossing it with white powder.  I die cut around it with a Pink Fresh fancy label frame and wrapped Twisted Lime Trendy Twine around it, popped it up with foam tape and added a bow of Twisted Lime Trendy Twine beside it.  The polkadot paper is BoBunny Candy Cane Lane and was die cut with a CC stitched rounded rectangle die.  For a subtle sparkle, I glued Twisted Lime Sequins to the front as well.
I even decorated the inside of the card, which I don't normally do, but I had a little left over patterned paper to use up.  That was die cut into a banner and I adhered a trio of Twisted Lime Sequins below it.  The sentiment was from the APB Merry Christmas stamp set and was stamped with Scrapbook.com Midnight Blue ink.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Twisted Lime can also be found in the Going Green Sampler along with Limeade, Totally Limeade, and Holly.

The Christmas Sampler includes all of our jolly holiday colors.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

2021 Seminarian Christmas Cards

Hello all!  I am back with my set of cards that I created for my church to send to seminarians this year.  A couple days ago, I shared THIS post in which I shared the ones I made for last year.  This set was created with the gorgeous 12''x12'' Echo Park Paper Silent Night collection.  I'll be honest, I absolutely fell in love with these paper when I saw them and I purchased way more than I needed for this set of cards, so in the future, I will be pulling the 6x6" paper pads out to make more creations.

These cards were made based off of the December 2019 SheetLoad Of Cards Sketch.  I thought it did a great job still showing off the beautiful background papers and also utilized the stickers and cut apart sheets that were part of the paper collection.  I embellished with various Trendy Twines on the tags.  I thought that added a lot of visual interest without a lot of bulk.  The layers were adhered with ATG and Bearly Art precision glue.
Here is a look at the whole grouping of the cards I created.  They were all somewhat different!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

2020 Seminarian Christmas Cards

Hello all! For the last few years, I have created handmade cards to send to the seminarians from our diocese who are studying to become priests, plus those ladies who are becoming nuns. It is a little way our church can support those with a calling to the religious life and lets them know we they are in our prayers. Last year got away from me and I didn't get these cards posted before Christmas, so these were the ones I made for the LAST year.
I used the Septemper 2020 SheetLoad of Cards sketch for the slimline cards.  Patterned papers are from The Paper Studio's Yuletide Blessings, which I purchased specifically for these cards!  The nativity stamp was from Hobby Lobby a few years ago and was stamped with SB.com Charcoal ink.  The sentiment was also stamped in the same color.  The only embllishments were 2 silver brads.  All cards were assembled with ATG.
If you are interested in the specific measurements I used, here they are:
white (stamped image) and charcoal print rectangles- 2.25"x 3.25"
green-2.5"x 7.5"
background print 3.5"x 8.5"
kraft 0.5"x 3.5"
You can see the assembly process above on my dining room table, and the completed card fronts below!  I did have a few more than I needed, so I actually am able to use some of them to send out myself.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Kendra's Card Challenge #4

Hello all!  Today I am sharing a large group of cards I started quite a few weeks ago, but just finally finished.  They are cards from Kendra's Card Challenge #4 sketches.  It created a grand total of 17 cards using 6- 6x6" patterned papers.  The paper pad I used was Simple Stories Fab{U}lous.  It really has pretty prints in it, but also had about half of the pages just being cut aparts more geared for scrapbooking.  Those were not able to be used for much except the back side as white for the stamped portions.
Here are the individual shots of the cards in order of the sketches. The majority of the stamps used were from Unity. I used several dies and embellishments. If you have any questions on specific products, feel free to ask me in the comments!
There they all are!  As I said earlier, I am not listing the large number of stamps, dies and embellishments I used, but if you are curious about something particular, just leave a comment with it!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Christmas Treats

Good morning! Today I am on the Trendy Twine blog with sweet Christmas treats that are perfect for stocking stuffers, classroom treats or favors at family gatherings.  They feature our twist of the month, Twisted Lime Trendy Twine.
I started with Mini Candy Cubes and filled them with Sugar Cookie Hershey's Kisses.  These boxes may seem on the small side at 1.5"x1.5", but they fit 6 Kisses inside which is plenty for a sweet treat.  I wrapped Twisted Lime Trendy Twine around the box like it was a gift and tied it in a bow on the front.  For the sentiment, I stamped saying from the APB Merry & Bright stamp set in SB.com Cardinal Red ink and added them to the top of the boxes. The addition of Twisted Lime Sequins around the bow and by the sentiment dressed up the box a bit, but still allows you to see the cute candy inside.  I used mini glue dots to adhere everything to the clear boxes.
