SumMore Fun Mood Board #38

Happy Friday! Today is the start of a new challenge at the SumMore Fun blog with a new mood board (you can see it at the bottom of this post). Here is what I created for inspiration!
I used Raisin Boat's Growing Love stamp set with the Stamp Platform and the wreath builder technique to create this card.  It was fun seeing how the fall wreath would turn out using the different small stamps from that set!  I added a bow of Totally Red Trendy Twine and Momenta Mr & Mrs dies to the card.  I die cut the dies three times, adhering the layers together with Lineco Adhesive and a precision tipped bottle.

Here is a look at the current mood board:
You can enter using the theme, pictures, or colors. Lots of choices! Head on over to the SumMore Fun blog and check out their challenge post. You have two weeks to enter your project/s. We can't wait to see your take on the current Mood Board.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Fun Happy Birthday Card

Good Morning!  Today is my day to post on the SumMore Fun blog.  The card I am sharing with you uses the beautiful Victorine Originals Happy Birthday stamp.
I stamped it with Versafine Onyx Black ink onto patterned paper from The Paper Studio's Treat Yourself 6"x6" paper pad.  I trimmed that into a large banner shape and layered it with black cardstock.  I wrapped Totally Lemon Trendy Twine around the banner and added dots of Pearl Pen (Pearl Pink) on the banner before mounting it with foam tape onto the card base.  I just love how that Happy Birthday stamp makes such a bold statement on the card!

Remember, we have this Mood Board Challenge going on right now! Here is the inspiration photo for it. You can use the pictures, theme, and/or colors to enter.

Eat. Sleep. FISH.

Hello all, and happy Tuesday!  Today I am bringing you a card that I made multiples of recently.  I am always making cards to sell or to add to my stash to send out!  The patterned papers are all from The Paper Studio's Glasses, Staches, & Ties 4.5"x6.5" paper pad. Over several years, I have made many cards from that pad (I am up to 49 so far!).  You can see more HERE if you are interested.
I used stamps from Gina Marie Designs' Fishing set with Versafine Onyx Black ink, then die cut around it with her GMD wonky rectangle die.  I popped that up with foam tape and added three silver brads underneath that panel.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Pumpkin Treats

Hello my crafty friends!  Happy Monday.  Today I am on the SVG Attic blog with these cute pumpkin treats!  I decided to create these to welcome in the fall season.
The file I used is from JGW Autumn Aire.  You can find the tutorial for assemble HERE.  I cut them out of papers from DCWV's Pumpkin Patch stack and assembled them with Scotch tacky glue.  I chose to add a Ghirardelli chocolate inside and embellished with a bow of Spiced Pumpkin Trendy Twine.  These will be perfect to give to my boys for a fall treat!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Sunny Side Up Birthday Card

Hello all!  Today I am sharing a card that I recently made just for fun.  I came across the Spellbinders "The Breakfast Club" stamp and die set on clearance and I thought it was so cute, I had to buy it!  This card was made with it.
DCWV's Good Eats stack had the PERFECT papers to match with the stamps.  I cut those panels out using GMD stitched rectangle dies.  The stamping was done with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and I inked around the die cuts with brown chalk.  The finishing touch were three sequins in the bottom left corner.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

SumMore Fun Mood Board #37

Happy Friday! Today is the start of a new challenge at the SumMore Fun blog with a new mood board (you can see it at the bottom of this post). Here is what I created for inspiration!
The stamp set that I used to create this card is Raisin Boat's Growing Love set.  I stamped the images and sentiment with Versamark ink on watercolor paper and then used white embossing powder on it.  Then I rubbed Distress Inks in Antique Linen, Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade and Fired Brick onto clear acrylic blocks.  I spritzed the blocks with water and flipped them over onto the watercolor paper.  I added a large book on top of the blocks for 5 minutes to make sure the colors were nice and vibrant on the paper.
I matted the stamped panel with black cardstock and gold paper lace borders.  The finishing touch was to add Glitter Pink Pearl Pen in the heart by the sentiment.  It added just the right bit of simmer and shine!

Curtain Fold Sympathy Card

Good Morning!  Today is my day to post on the SumMore Fun blog.  The card I am sharing with you uses the Raisin Boat Flourishing Thoughts stamp set.  That stamp set is a must have!!
I used DCWV's Lilac Love stack to create a curtain fold card.  You can find my previous tutorial for it HERE.  The area on the top of the card was absolutely perfect for a sentiment banner.  The sentiment from the Flourishing Thoughts stamp set was stamped in black in on a die cut.  That was popped up with foam tape.  To embellish, I added Totally Kraft and Totally Grape Trendy Twines as well as two glitter enamel dots.

Remember, we have this Mood Board Challenge going on right now! Here is the inspiration photo for it. You can use the pictures, theme, and/or colors to enter.

40th Birthday Card

Hello all and happy Thursday! I am sharing a project for the Trendy Twine blog today.  This month we are spotlighting the very versatile Totally Kraft Trendy Twine.  I created this 40th birthday card using it.  It is 5x7", which is larger than the A2 size I normally make.
Using a White Large Tag-It, I cut a 40 out of it with my Silhouette Cameo and then added a sentiment from the APB Documenting the Everyday stamp set to the bottom.  Behind the 40 I adhered rows of Totally Kraft Trendy Twine to the back of the tag.  When that was done, I glued a Kraft Large Tag-It behind the white tag-it.  At the top of the tag, I added a Pink Midnight Trendy Page Dot and some Totally Kraft Trendy Twine.
The base of the card was created with The Paper Studio's Stonewashed 4.5x6.5 paper pad and black cardstock.  I wrapped Totally Kraft Trendy Twine around the banners and added Chocolate Truffle Sequins to the top right corner.

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trio Birthday Cards

Hello my crafty friends!  Happy Monday.  Today I am on the SVG Attic blog with these three trio cards.
I really love this side profile sunflower trio card that is part of the JGW Sunflower Sunshine kit.  I used papers from Fancy Pants' Time for Spring 6x6 paper pad and wrapped Krazy for Kraft Trendy Twine around it.
The other two cards are for nephews of mine.  The patterned papers on both are from DCWV's Boyhood stack.  The rocket trio card is from SVG Outta This World kit.  I embellished with Rainbow Glossy Dots and stamped a sentiment from Pretty Cute Stamps' Super Sentiments stamp set.
The final card is the Baseball Bat Trio Card file and is embellished with Berries Jubilee Trendy Twine and the stamps I used are from Pink and Main's Birthday Wishes stamp set.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Anniversary Wishes Card

Hello friends!  I just wanted to share this anniversary card that I recently created.
Papers are from Craft Smith's Rooftop Garden paper pad.  I used a GMD scalloped stitched rectangle die and wonky stitched die and the hearts were cut with my Brother Scan N Cut.  The sentiment is from the My Sentiments Exactly Anniversary Innies and Outies stamp set and I embellished with white Nuvo crystal drops.  Adhesives used include ATG and foam tape.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
