At each stop of the hop we hope you will be inspired by the creativity of the design teams of SVG Attic and DCWV. You are sure to find many wonderful projects that will be at the top of your Christmas crafting lists!

You should be arriving from Tessa's blog. If you happened across this post out of order, please head to the SVG Attic blog to start at the beginning of the hop.

Here is what I created for the hop:
I used the gorgeous Merry Memories stack (available at Jo-Ann Fabrics) by DCWV to create my "Letters to Santa" mailbox.
The mailbox file is from SVG Attic's Love Letters set.  I had so much fun choosing what paper prints I would use where!  I added the words "Santa Claus" on the nameplate and evergreen branches from JGW Santa's Repose set on either side.
I decided to create a pretty cluster on the side with pinecones and evergreen branches from the JGW Santa's Repose set.  I added a bow of crinkle ribbon and Candy Cane Trendy Twine.
Here is a close up of the flag on the mailbox.  I used a stamp and enamel circle overlay to create the circle.
Here it is open with "letters" sticking out!  Those postcard papers are from DCWV's Hand-Painted Christmas stack available in Michaels stores.
This mailbox setting will be available in an upcoming set at SVG Attic.

Trendy Twine~Happy Thanksgiving!

Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving!  Today on the Trendy Twine blog we have a lot of Thanksgiving inspiration, so head on over there to check it all out!

Here is the project I created:
I used three beautiful fall Trendy Twines on this amazing box card.  The file for it is from SVG Attic's JGW Turkey Trot set.
I traced around the outside of the cornucopia rings with Totally Chocolate Trendy Twine.  I really like the extra dimension and texture it added.
On the front of the card, I added a double bow of Orange Truffle Trendy Twine on the cornucopia and two tiny bows of Spiced Pumpkin Trendy Twine on either side of the sign.
For the finishing touch, I added three sequins from the Autumn Sequins Mix on the back panel.
The whole thing folds flat so it can be easily mailed.

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Believe Boxes and Manger

Hello friends!  Tonight I am sharing a project with you that is very meaningful, Believe blocks with a manger and Baby Jesus.  The files I used are from SVG Attic's JGW Believe set. (Those files are on sale now!)
These blocks are very large when finished and would look amazing on a mantle for the holiday season!  I used kraft cardstock for the bases on all of them from Oriental Trading.  It used 9 sheets just for the blocks!  I used white cardstock for the letters.  The patterned papers are from Ornamental Christmas and Old World Winter by The Paper Studio.  This picture below shows what it looks like without the manger in front.
For the star, I used patterned paper for the star and trimmed it with gold glitter paper from DCWV's Glitzy Glitter stack.  I added a bow of Totally Chocolate Trendy Twine.
Next is a close up of Baby Jesus in the manger. I cut all of the pieces out of solid cardstock and then stamped a woodgrain stamp from Unity on the outer brown cardstock. Jesus is wrapped in a piece of fabric which is tied with more Totally Chocolate Trendy Twine.
Here is what the manger looks like without Baby Jesus it in.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Cardinal Christmas Card

DCWV has a new Christmas stack out this year that is called Merry Memories and I absolutely LOVE it!  The cardinals in this stack are so pretty :)  I created this card based off of DCWV's stackaholic sketch for November.
I used foam tape behind the center panel as well as the cardinal circle for extra dimension.  The snowflake SVG is from SVG Attic's Winter Wonderland Wreath set.  I also used Candy Cane Trendy Twine for an embellishment.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Covered Bridge Christmas Card

This is one of those cards that you simply make because you HAVE to use a certain stamp. I absolutely adore this vintage Christmas stamp from Mark's Finest Papers. It is so beautiful!
I am not an image colorer.  I simply don't do it very often, but this one definitely needed some color.  I used watercolors on it and then used some glittery stickles on the trees to mimic snow.  To embellish, I added an olive green mesh ribbon around the center and then made some circles with Holly Berry Trendy Twine behind the image.
The main image panel is popped up with foam tape and the sentiment is from My Craft Spot.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Twine~Birthday Pumpkin Cupcake Card

Today my fellow Trendy Twine DT sisters and I are surprising Lesley with birthday cards that we created for her.  Happy Birthday Lesley!!  Stop by the Trendy Twine blog to see ALL of the cards we made for her.
For my card, I used a pumpkin cupcake file from Miss Kate Cuttables.  What is a birthday without some cake, right?!  I wrapped Spiced Pumpkin Trendy Twine and Totally Chocolate Trendy Twine around the cupcake wrapper and added a double bow as well.  The sentiment is from My Craft Spot's Tiny Tags set.
The patterned papers I used are from DCWV's Heirloom stack.  Doesn't that little pumpkin on top look so cute?

Trendy Twine~Falling Leaves Card

Good morning all!  Today is my day to post on the Trendy Twine blog.  I have a fun fall card to share with you using lots of products from Annie's Paper Boutique.
I started by cutting out the files for the card from SVG Attic's JGW Falling Leaves set.  I added Spiced Pumpkin Trendy Twine around the band at the top of the card and also wrapped it around the rake handle and tied it in a little bow.
I used Totally Chocolate Trendy Twine to line the part across the rake tines.  I love the extra texture twine adds to projects!  See all those leaves at the bottom of the card?  I used the "Hello Fall" planner stamp set to stamp them and coordinating SVG's that I designed for the stamps to create that wonderful leaf pile :)

Mittens Christmas card

I have gotten some gorgeous Christmas papers lately that really have been inspiring me to create!  I used the mitten paper at the bottom of this card for the inspiration for the whole card!
The patterned papers are from DCWV's Oh What Fun stack.  LOVE it!  The mitten stamp is from Unity and I did paper piecing on it.  The pretty twine is Candy Cane Trendy Twine.  I also added two snowflakes that I cut from SVG Attic's All The Trimmings set.  I popped the stamped layers up with foam tape.  For the finishing touches, I added two buttons, ribbon, stickles and rhinestones.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Twine~Turkey Treat Box

Good morning all!  Today is my day to post on the Trendy Twine blog.  This month the DT is showcasing the 2x2x2 Kraft Boxes and the beautiful NEW fall twines.
I used the 2x2x2 Kraft Box to create a Thanksgiving turkey treat box.  The first thing I did was wrap Spiced Pumpkin Trendy Twine around the box.  Next, I used SVG Attic's Thankful Friends SVG Collection for the turkey cuts.  Isn't he cute?  I used a Peachy Keen face stamp for his eyes.  I hand cut the sign and used Annie's Paper Boutique's "Hello Fall" planner stamp set for the sentiment.
For the tail, I used Tickled With Teal and Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twines to make the feathers look a little more realistic.   As you can see in this picture, I have the box to open up sideways so it is easy to open and doesn't interfere with the turkey cuts.

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

"Hello Fall" planner stamp set
