Bunny Treat Box

Good morning all!  It is my day to post on the Trendy Twine blog.  Only one more week until Easter, so naturally, that is what my project is all about.
I dressed up a bunny treat holder that is from SVG Attic's Happy Easter kit.  Isn't he the cutest thing?!  Here is a closeup of the wonderful Trendy Twine I used.  I wrapped Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine around the bunny's neck and tied it in a bow.  Plus I added a bit of Limeade TT around the carrot top.  Those two twines coordinate perfectly!
Here is a picture of the bunny opened up with all of the Easter treats inside!

Here are the products I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Easter Treat Baskets

Good morning friends!  Today I wanted to share some Easter baskets with you.
First us is this super sweet woven basket from the Cottontail Bunny kit.  I inked all the colored weaving strips with brown chalk ink to add a little distressing.  The basket is quite simple to assemble and there is a tutorial for it HERE.  For a finishing touch, I added several colorful buttons to add visual interest.  Those fun wooden buttons are from Oriental Trading.
This treat bag is so cute!  It is also from the Cottontail Bunny kit at SVG Attic.  I had fun picking out the different colors of papers to use on it.  I used Totally Orange Trendy Twine to make the bow at the top.
If you are want to look for more Easter SVG kits, you can find them HERE!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Here is the project I created for this hop:
This watering can centerpiece is comprise of several different sets from SVG Attic.
The watering can itself is from the Watering Wishes kit.  It was very simple to assemble.  I used two different patterned papers on the decorative panels.  I attached a tag on the side using ribbon and Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine.
To simulate water drops, I attached teardrop shaped rhinestones to fishing string.  It think it looks very cute!  The tiny pink butterflies you see were made from a punch.
Here is a closeup of the flowers!  The hot pink roses are from the Motherly Moments kit, the light pink tulips are from Gaby's Garden and the light blue flowers are from the Tiki Luau kit.

St. Patty's Day Basket

My oldest son was asking me why we don't really do much for St. Patrick's Day...um, well, because we aren't Irish?? LOL!  I was told that we should start because St. Patrick is his favorite saint.  So, I guess from now on, we will be celebrating more on March 17th :)
I made this sweet shamrock basket using files from SVG Attic's Leprechaun Chase kit.  It went together so quick that these would make easy favors for a party.
I added a Limeade Trendy Twine bow and three Butterscotch Skittles for embellishments.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Frozen Elsa Birthday Card

My sweet niece just turned 3 years old yesterday!  She is currently loving the Frozen movie, like SO many other young girls (and boys) do.  I created this card for her with Elsa on it.
The SVG of Elsa was from SVG Cutting Files, but it was only available during a hop they had, so I am glad I got it while I could!
I will admit, inking and layering all the cuts took quite a while, but the end result was worth it!  I added glossy accents to her lips and eyes.  I used a white gel pen for accents in her hair.
The two white die cuts in the corners are from Top Dog Dies and that purple twine is Trendy Twine's Grape Fizz.  I added lots of bling in turquoise and silver and it was complete!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

First Communion Card

My oldest son is going to be making his First Communion soon.  It is a very exciting milestone for him!  When I suggested a religious set for that occasion to the designers at SVG Attic, they were so sweet to create one!
This is a flat card, meaning it doesn't open.  It will be perfect for an element in the scrapbook we are creating for him.  Or I could easily make a card base and adhere this to it if I so choose.  I added glossy accents to the grapes, homemade enamel dots and inked the edges of the die cuts with brown chalk ink.  I think the embossing on the chalice really adds to the elegance of the card.
So if you need a card or 3D element for a religious occasion, head on over to SVG Attic and check out their Communion of Faith set.  Here is a peek at it:

Don't Forget...SVG Attic is having a design team call RIGHT NOW!

Sweet Easter Buckets

Good morning!  I have been having so much fun creating Easter projects lately, and these buckets were at the top of my crafting list.  The supplies I used to make these were from Oriental Trading.  Yes, they have some awesome scrapbooking supplies there if you didn't know that!

I started out with Bucket Containers and went a little crazy decorating them :)  The grass around the bottom of the bucket was cut from a SVG file from SVG Attic and I used paper from the Rainbow Paper Pack.  It cut well with my Silhouette Cameo!  All of the patterned papers and chipboard embellishments were from the Easter Escapade Paper Kit.  That paper also cut perfectly.  Did you see the sweet rubber duckies inside?  They are also from Oriental Trading and are so stinkin' cute!

This adorable bunny peeking out of a bucket is a SVG file from  SVG Cuts. All of the solid colored cardstock used in this project is from the Full Color Spectrum Paper Pack.

The layers of papers were adhered with permanent tape runner and Stick-Ems.  I found out that I love those Stick-Ems way more than the name brand glue dots!  They are stickier and adhere better.  Those pretty wooden buttons were the perfect touch to the buckets.

Here is the top view.   I added cardstock on the top and wrote names on tags, then finished it off with silver embellishments.   The handles were tied with Easter Escapades ribbon.

All of the products that I used from Oriental Trading Company to make this project were wonderful! I would recommend any and all of them to you.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

The review of these products is based strictly on my opinion. Others may have a different opinion or experience with the products listed above. I was provided the samples free of charge by Oriental Trading Co. and I provided my honest opinion. No other type of compensation was received for this review.
