Fiscus Vinyled Sign

Happy Halloween all!  I don't have anything spooky to share with you today, just this wooden sign that I created for my in-laws' 40th Anniversary this month.
I started out with a sign blank from Michaels.  I spray painted it with a tan satin finish and added the white vinyl design I created!  Easy peasy!  The hardest part of the whole thing was my husband actually deciding what he wanted to put on it...in the end, he just told me to do what I do best ;)
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

APB Stamps ~ Fall Mason Jar Shaker Card

Hello all!  Today is my day to post on the Trendy Twine blog.  I am showcasing the new Happy Thanksgiving stamp set, which I LOVE and I know you will too!
I started out with a jar shaker file from The Cutting Cafe and used papers from DCWV's Autumn Leaves stack.  I wrapped Spiced Pumpkin Trendy Twine between the woodgrain paper and the lace paper from DCWV's Paper Lace border stack.  I wrapped Totally Chocolate Trendy Twine around the top of the jar and attached a Kraft Tag with Metal Rim with a Hello Fall Trendy Page Dot on it.  I used that tag to add the sentiment from the Happy Thanksgiving stamp set and adhered it to the jar with a Glue Dot.
The shaker part itself consists of Autumn Sequins and shapes from the Hello Fall Planner Stamp set.  Those were stamped on the patterned paper to add color and visual interest.  Finally, I hand cut a banner and stamped the "Grateful for family" sentiment on it from the Happy Thanksgiving stamp set.  That was added to the center of the jar front.
Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

DCWV/Pink and Main Blog Hop

Hello friends!  Welcome to the DCWV/Pink and Main fall blog hop!

Here is what I created...a sweet sunflower easel card and gift box set!
First up, the sunflower easel card is cut from a Snapdragon Snippets file,  I used the DCWV Autumn Leaves stack for all of the papers.
I used the Pink & Main Sunflowers stamps and dies for this adorable teddy bear and ladybugs.  I colored them with watercolors.  I tied two Blue Moon Beads Holiday Frights charms (available at Jo-Ann Fabrics) on the basket with some Nautical Trendy Twine.
I also used Nautical Trendy Twine for the bows on the sunflowers.  Don't you just love that little ladybug?!  Glue Dots worked perfectly to adhere the Pink and Main die cuts to the card.
Here is the card folded flat.
Next, I have this sunflower gift box to share!  The file is once again from Snapdragon Snippets.
I used the DCWV Autumn Leaves stack (available at Jo-Ann Fabrics) for all of the papers.  Once again, I used the Pink & Main Sunflowers stamps and dies but I also used their Thankful stamp set for the sentiment.  All of the stamps stamped perfectly!  I used the Tiny Bubbles cuttlebug folder to emboss the navy blue center of the sunflower for more texture.
Here is the box opened up.
The rest of the DCWV and Pink and Main DT members have many more inspirational projects for you today, so don't stop here!  Head on over to the DCWV BLOG and the PINK AND MAIN BLOG to be inspired and for a chance to win prizes!

Vintage Tractor Card

Good morning all!  Today I am sharing a card that I created for a neighbor who recently celebrated his 90th birthday!  He is a retired farmer, so I knew I wanted the Rusty Tractor stamp to be the focal point of the card.
I chose papers that accentuated the farm feel of the card, DCWV's Paper Backed Denim stack, Guy Stack, and Gold Threaded Burlap stack.  The only embellishments I used were wooden buttons in the lower right corner.
You want to know what the absolute best part of this card was?  Getting a phone call from his wife saying how much they both loved the card!  It really made my day!

Trendy Twine ~ Batty For You Card

Good morning! Today is my day to post on the Trendy Twine blog.  Halloween is only 8 days away, so I thought I would give you some last minute card inspiration!
I wrapped several rounds of Trick or Treat Trendy Twine to create a visual centerpoint.  I added the "Batty for you" sentiment from the Happy Halloween stamp set from Annie's Paper Boutique to the headstone paper panel.  The bat charm from Blue Moon Beads (adhered with Glue Dots) tied it all together!
The papers used in this card are from DCWV's Spooky Night mini stack.

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

SVG Attic Halloween Treat Box and Card

Hello crafty friends!  Today is my day to post on the SVG Attic blog and I simply had to go with Halloween themed projects!
First up, I made this candy corn treat box from the JGW Ghostly Sweet Tooth set.  I used DCWV's Spooky Delight stack, Blue Moon Bead Charms and Midnight and Orange Licorice Trendy Twines.
Here is a view of the box opened up.  It will hold several fun size candy bars!
My second creation is a double diamond fold card from the JGW Welcome to BOO-Ville set.  Isn't it an awesome card style?!
I used DCWV's Spooky Delight and Mixed Media stacks, Blue Moon Bead Charms and Bumblebee Trendy Twine.  The stamp on the lower right corner is from APB Happy Halloween stamp set.  In this picture you can see how it looks all folded up.  There is a matching envelope for this card in the JGW Welcome to BOO-Ville set as well.

Here is a look at the sets I used:

APB Stamp Release Day #4 ~ Merry Christmas Stamp Set

Happy new release week at Annie's Paper Boutique! Today I am showcasing the brand new APB Merry Christmas stamp set both here and also on the Trendy Twine blog. It is such a beautiful and meaningful stamp set!
I kept the card fairly simple, using papers from The Paper Studio's Old World Winter Matstack.  I stamped the Merry Christmas stamps in brown ink on the panel to keep with the vintage look of the card.  That panel is popped up with foam tape for extra dimension.  The stars you see on the plaid background?  Those are also part of that stamp set!  I embossed them with a clear pearlized embossing powder so they are very subtle.
I used Holly Berry Trendy Twine and sequins from the Christmas Shaker Medley as accents as well as a star I stamped and fussy cut, once again from the wonderful Merry Christmas stamp set.
All of the new releases that you are seeing on the Trendy Twine blog this week will be available in the store at 6PM Central time on Friday, October 21st.  Keep checking back every day for new inspiration!

APB Stamp Release Day #2 ~ Peppermint Icicle Sequins

Happy new release week at Annie's Paper Boutique!  Today I am showcasing the brand new Peppermint Icicle Sequins here and also on the Trendy Twine blog.  They are a wonderful addition to any Christmas or winter projects!
I started out using a tag shaker svg file from The Cutting Cafe.  The papers are from DCWV's Oh What Fun stack and they coordinated perfectly with the Peppermint Icicle sequins.  Look at how pretty that sequin assortment is!
I used Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine on the top and a bow of Totally Red Trendy Twine for contrast.  The stamp is from the new APB Merry & Bright stamp set.
On the back of the tag, I added sentiments from the new ABP Let It Snow and Merry & Bright stamps sets.  I also added a few more of the Peppermint Icicle sequins.
All of the new releases that you are seeing on the Trendy Twine blog this week will be available in the store at 6PM Central time on Friday, October 21st.  Keep checking back every day for new inspiration!

Trendy Twine ~ Twisted Easel Halloween Card

Good morning! Today is my day to post on the Trendy Twine blog.  Halloween is in the air and I have this fun card to share with you.
This twisted easel card was so fun to embellish with Trick or Treat Trendy Twine!  The colors from the papers in DCWV's Spooky Night 6x6" stack matched perfectly with the twine.  I used DCWV's Double Sided Cardstock for the solids.
The SVG file is from SVG Attic's JGW Batwing Brew set.  On the inside, I used the wonderful APB Happy Halloween stamp set and bat sequins from the Lime Licorice Batty Sequins.
As you can see, the Trick or Treat Trendy Twine made the perfect embellishment to border the front as well as to add a double bow in the bottom corner.

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:
