Personalized Tumblers

If you are looking for my post about being on the Skittles guest design team, click HERE.

Today I am sharing another vinyl creation with you that is perfect for gift giving!
I created these personalized tumblers for the teacher aids in my son's class.  I used SVG Attic's  Chevron Alphabet Uppercase for the monogram.  I used a font I had on my computer to type their names.  Then I added circles of random sizes in both black and white all around the tumbler.
The vinyl I used is permanent (outdoor) vinyl, but it does have a matte finish.  Normally permanent vinyl has a shiny finish, but I wanted to clarify that I did use the permanent vinyl so it would for sure stick.  I purchased this vinyl from HERE.
These tumblers are perfect gifts for Valentine's Day, Teacher Appreciation, birthdays, Christmas, Thank You,  etc.  The list goes on and on!  Make them for your kids' teachers and fill them with markers and candy like I did.  They are sure to be a hit!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Circuit Board Valentine Card

I have a brother who loves all things technology related and works in IT.  I immediately thought of him when I saw this card from SVG Attic's Love Letters kit.
It was extremely simple to create!  I added liquid pearl dots in the ends of the white areas to resemble the soldering on real circuit boards.  I attached the USB drive with Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

I Totally Dig You Valentine!

Good morning!  Today I wanted to share these fun Valentine treats with you.
I created a holder for the Biggie Candy Chutes and used the sweet Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine for embellishing.  Click HERE for the tutorial I followed to make the holder.  The only change I made to the pattern was to cut a 1" square hole in the top instead of punching a hole.

The sentiment was a free printable and I added the bow of Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine.
Here is a closeup of the Mini Wood Scoop tied on with the Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine.

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Love Tile

I have been using quite a lot of vinyl lately and here is my latest project.

I used a 12" x 24" porcelain tile that I purchased at Lowe's as the base and added brown and gold vinyl.  The SVG Attic file that I used for this project is called Be Kind.  It included the frames and the word "LOVE".  The words in gold were ones that I created on my own with my cutting software.

This tile is very fitting for Valentine's Day decor, but would also be a stunning wedding gift!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Forever & Always Blog Hop

Welcome to the SVG Attic-SnapDragon Snippets Forever & Always blog hop!  We are so excited to have you join us today!
At each stop of the hop we hope you will be inspired by the creativity of the design teams of SVG Attic and Snapdragon Snippets. You are sure to find many wonderful projects that will be at the top of your crafting lists!

You should be arriving from Angeline's blog. If you happened across this post out of order, please head to the SVG Attic blog to start at the beginning of the hop.

Here is the project I created for this hop:

I used the mason jar window card box from the Neighbor Gift Set.  I love anything and everything that has to do with jars :)
To embellish it, I cut a rose out from the Be Mine kit.  Once it was assembled, I painted the paper with a light pink shimmer paint so it would be a softer look, but you can still see the print through it.  I added ribbon and pins as well.  The leaf is from the apple in the Fall Harvest Favor Boxes set.
Guess what?  On the back of the jar is an optional flap so you can write or stamp a message on it!  It makes this both a card and a gift.

Now how about some blog hop prizes??

$15 Gift Certificate to SVG Attic

and
$15 Gift Certificate to SnapDragon Snippets

What do you need to do to be eligible for these amazing prizes?
1.  Become a follower of each blog in the hop, if you aren't already.

Minecraft Birthday Party projects

My oldest son really likes Minecraft,  I truly don't know what the obsession about it is, but whatever.  LOL!  He wanted a birthday party that was all about that, so I obliged :)

Here are the invitations we sent out.  The graphic of the invitation was a free printable.  I created the Steve head in my SCAL software.  It was very easy to make since it is all squares or rectangles.
I added twine behind the head and the head was popped up with thin foam tape.
This is the birthday card I created for him.  I absolutely LOVE the way it turned out!  I can't take credit for the idea though,  I found one with basically the same layout HERE.
The twine I used is Limeade and Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine.

Of course, we had to have party favors, so I used the Steve head again and created these panels which I simply added to the outside of a spiral memo pad.  I added a pencil and Voila!  Insta party favor :)
These favors were a HUGE hit!  The boys have been writing their Minecraft tips and "secrets" in them and then bring them to school to compare notebooks.  At the rate they are writing in them, maybe I should have went with regular sized notebooks!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Crafting Inspiration-Day 1

Hello all!   Today is the very first day of the crafting inspiration party with Trendy Twine  and Fleurette Bloom!  It goes all week long, so be prepared for many inspirational projects.

Valentine's Day will be here in about a month, so there is no time like the present to get started on those gifts!  Today I am sharing a beautiful floral gift box that I created with Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine and two different SVG sets from Fleurette Bloom.
First off, wanted to share this luscious twine with you.  Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine has a red and pink twist, so it is perfect for all of those Valentine's Day projects.  I weaved it through the lace on the outside of the box and then created a bow with it as well.
Here is the box opened up.  I used the flower box from the Peacock Palace SVG kit to create the box form.
I then decorated it with flowers from Fleurette Bloom's Dia De Los Muertos  SVG kit.  I fell in LOVE with that middle flower!
I finished the box off with a stamped tag that I cut out by hand.  The stamp is from Unity.  I added a tiny heart to the tag using Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine and added strings to the tag with it as well.

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Glue Bottle Tip

I recently saw this tip on Facebook, thanks to my friend, Carmen.  She posted about THIS VIDEO on how to change the tops of your glue bottles to silicone baby bottle nipples so they don't clog up.  I was having major issues while using my glossy accents on a recent project, so I tried it out!  It worked great!

Beautiful Winter Card

If you are like me, you are probably getting really sick of the nasty cold weather we have been having lately.  Seriously, a high of 0 is sad, especially when there is wind to go with it!  I felt inspired to create something beautiful with a winter theme with the Winterland paper collection from Moxxie.
I made a step card using files from SVG Attic.  The card base is from their Step Card SVG Collection, the gorgeous snowflake was from their Ornament Kit and the swirls on the steps are from Winter Flurries.  For the swirls, I cut them each three times and glued them on top of each other for added strength.
The sentiment was embossed and I finished it off with a bow of Blue Berry Trendy Twine!  I also added dots of pearl pen to the card base and rhinestones on the snowflake.  The button in the center of the snowflake is actually a brad that I colored the center of to bring out the darker blue from the trim.

I hope you stay warm wherever you are, and have a wonderfully crafty day!

Rose Heart Valentine Card

Today I am sharing a Valentine card that I made using rosettes that are from Fleurette Bloom's Lush Flowers SVG collection and Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine.
This is what the heart looks like with all six of the rosettes glued on.
And a close-up of the layers of the card and of course, the beautiful Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine! It has a twist of red and pink which makes it absolutely perfect for Valentine's Day projects.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
