Trendy Twine ~ Love Mason Jar

Good morning my crafty friends! It is my day to post on the Trendy Twine blog. This is what I made to share with you today.
I re-purposed a mason jar that I had sitting on my counter just *begging* for me to decorate!  I went with a Love theme that is perfect for an anniversary, to give to kids or to just tell someone that you care about them.
I used a lot of Krafty Red Trendy Twine on this.  I wrapped it around the band of burlap and lace, plus I used it to hang the felt heart and key around the shoulder of the jar.  It matched perfectly with the color scheme! The sentiment stamp is from Paper Sweeties.
On the top of the jar, I added a circle of burlap, a die cut doily and a heart that I crocheted out of the Krafty Red Trendy Twine.  I used THIS pattern to make the simple heart and used a size 0 crochet hook.  To embellish the heart, I added a tiny wood button, arrow, and a bow of Totally Kraft Trendy Twine.

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique

Trio of Trio Cards!

Hello my crafty friends!  Today is my day to post on the SVG Attic blog and I decided to make three cards since I needed to get more of those made!
First up is a card that is going to my sister and brother-in-law as today they finalize the adoption of their sweet little princess!  It is a great day for all of us :)  The Crown Trio card file comes from the JGW Off To The Ball set.  I popped the center crown up with foam tape and embellished the card with sequins and Tickled Pink Trendy Twine.  These patterned papers are from DCWV's Nana's Nursery Baby Girl stack.
Next, I created the Easter Egg trio card that is in the JGW Happy Easter set.  Easter is only a month away and I knew I needed to get motivated on those Easter cards!  The eggs are popped up with foam tape and I added three pearls by the sentiment.  The patterned papers are from the Dear Lizzy Neapolitan paper pad.
Finally I created the pencil trio card from JGW Campus Capers.  This one will be great to write a note to a teacher or even save it for Teacher Appreciation Week later this spring.
I embossed the pencils with a linear embossing folder, popped the pencils up with foam tape, and added Totally Black Trendy Twine at the bottom to look like writing.  These patterned papers are from DCWV's Grade School stack.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Time For A Celebration Layout

I don't normally post twice in a day, but today is my birthday and I find it fitting to post the birthday projects I recently created!  I am sharing a birthday layout using a brand new paper stack by DCWV! It is called the Confetti stack.
This stack of papers is my current FAVORITE!  The bright colors with the accents of gold are so pretty.  Plus there is printed vellum and confetti in the back of the stack.  Yup.  Those confetti circles on the right side came with the stack :)
I couldn't resist adding that large cupcake on my LO.  Doesn't it look so yummy?  I finished it all off with a few embellishments of Tickled With Teal Trendy Twine.
This layout follows the sketch for this month's Stackaholic Challenge on the DCWV blog.

If you liked the papers I used on this project, I want to invite you to SVG Attic's Birthday Bash blog hop on Saturday, February 20th!  My projects for the hop use even more of these beautiful papers.

Trendy Twine~Love Day Card

Good morning and Happy Valentine's Day!  Some of the Trendy Twine team have created some awesome Love Day cards using brand new planner stamps at Annie's Paper Boutique.  Head on over to the Trendy Twine blog to check them all out.  The stamps were designed for planners, but can be used for SO much more!  Here is what I made.
These stamps were so much fun to use!  I started off by creating the tan background layer with the You & Me Planner Stamp Set.  I used several of the stamps from that set and stamped them repeatedly.  That set works great for Valentine's day, but can also be used for so many other things too!  The images are from the Perfect Pairs Planner Stamp Set.  Aren't they so adorable?!  I paper pieced them with different colors of cardstock.  I inked around the edges of the layers and added glossy accents to different parts of them.
The words that are on the card front are from the We Go Together Planner Stamp Set, which has a really fun font.  I finished off the card by wrapping Grape FizzLemon Tart, and Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine around both sides of the front panel to coordinate with the colors in the stamped images.  To give you a rough size of the images, the white circles are 1.5" and the pink inner circles are 1.375".

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Minnie Mouse 1st Birthday Card

I have some sweet nieces that I love to create for!  Here is a card I made for one of them for her 1st birthday.
The papers I used are from DCWV's Happy Day stack.  I started with a Mickey Mouse background mesh to create the Disney inspired base.  Next, I popped up the Swirly Doily with foam tape.
The Minnie Mouse head is from ScrappyDew's Magical Memories set (no longer available for purchase) and Minnie's bow is from SVG Attic's Make a Wish set.  The number 1 was also popped up with foam tape.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

P.S.  I JUST signed up as a Jamberry Independent Consultant!  I am very excited about all of their nail wraps.  (They remind me so much of scrapbook papers!)  I would love it if you would stop by my Jamberry page to look at what they all have to offer:  https://bethfiscus.jamberry.com/us/en/
They just came out with the Disney Collection by Jamberry...they are so CUTE!

Heart Top Boxes

Good morning!  Today is my day to post on the SVG Attic blog.  My project is Valentine treat boxes for my sons' teachers.
I used the heart gift box file from SVG Attic's Be Mine set.  Those boxes can really hold a lot of candy!  I made them in two different color schemes, but kept a pink theme with them both.
The first one is made with cream cardstock and DCWV's Mercury Glass stack. The second is made using DCWV's Happy Day stack.
For the tag on them both, I used a file from the JGW Canning Essentials kit.  I added some stamps and Tickled Pink Trendy Twine on one and Krazy For Kraft Trendy Twine to tie them onto the boxes.
Here is a view of the top, the prettiest part of the box!  You can see the hearts when it is all folded closed.

Love You Valentine Card

Good morning!  Guess what I am doing today?  Making out my Valentine's Day cards.  I hope they get to all of the family before the big day!  Here is what they look like this year.
I used a sketch from OWH to make these.  I was drawing a blank as to how to do something different yet again for the holiday.  The heart is embossed and then lightly sanded to show the white core of the paper.  I wrapped and tied a bow of Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine around the base papers.
The faux stitch stamp that I used is from BoBunny and I really love the look it gave to the card.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Twine ~ Love Kraft Pillow Box

Good morning my crafty friends!  It is my day to post on the Trendy Twine blog.  This is what I made to share with you today.

I started with a Medium Kraft Pillow Box from Annie's Paper Boutique.  I wrapped paper from BoBunny's Love Letters collection around it.  I glued a heart out of Krafty Red Trendy Twine on the patterned paper, then I added flourish die cuts from Spellbinders and roses from a retired My Craft Spot die.

To finish it all off, I wrapped Krafty Red Trendy Twine around the box twice, added a stamped Petite Kraft Tag with Metal Trim and tied a simple twine bow.

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique
