Trendy Bakers Twine~Shine Bright Bag

Hello all! I am sharing a project for the Trendy Twine blog that features Orangesicle Trendy Twine. It is a cheerful orange monochromatic treat bag!
First up, I used an Orange Chevron Treat Bag and added the vertical strips of solid paper. Next, I created the focal point with a Mango Bracket Card stamped with a black sentiment from the Choose Happy stamp set. The flower was made with a button from my stash that I backed with red-lined tape, then added loops of Orangesicle Trendy Twine. I then glued the flower to the bracket card. For a bit of sparkle, I adhered Autumn Sequins to the bag. Now it is ready to add some treats or a gift card to give!

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

You can also find Orangesicle in the Orange Sampler and in the Original Sampler. Each
color is ten yards in length and comes on a wooden clothespin for easy use and storage.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Sunshine Card

Hello all! I am sharing a project for the Trendy Twine blog that features Orangesicle Trendy Twine. It is a card that really portrays lots of summer sunshine!
All the patterned papers and sentiment panel were from Echo Park's My Favorite Summer 6x6" paper pad. The sun was die cut with the Pink & Main Card Cut Essentials Dies Set 2 once I glued it in the corner of the card, I cut lengths of Orangesicle Trendy Twine for sun rays and adhered them with Bearly Art precision glue. The sentiment panel was popped up with foam tape. I thought the area to the left of the sentiment looked a little empty, so I added a bit of Orange Chevron Ribbon there. A trio of Autumn Sequins added a bit of sparkle to finish off the card.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Bakers Twine~Pop-Ice Pals

Hello all! Today I am on the Trendy Twine blog.  I created a scrapbook layout for today that features a brand new product that hit the Annie's Paper Boutique store...Chunky Tag-Its!  They are 2-3/4" wide by 3-1/2" tall so you can fit a lot onto one of these tags.  Guess what?  They fit the notebook paper stamp from the APB Get It Done stamp set PERFECTLY.  Can you tell how excited I am about these Chunky Tag-Its?!  Anyway, on to my project...
I took a photo of my daughter and her cousin BFF eating Pop-ice together and thought it would be fun to make a scrapbook layout for it.  The papers are from The Paper Studio's Pixey Stix paper pad.  All of the Trendy Twine accents on the page are Twisted Gumball Trendy Twine.
I created the title in SCAL 4.  One tip I have is to use adhesive vinyl for thin words because they always cut beautifully and already have adhesive on them!  The Pop-ice were just strips of paper that I put VersaMark on and clear embossing powder.  I think they turned out looking pretty real!  The bow of Twisted Gumball Trendy Twine was a fun addition.
The Pink Chunky Tag-It was so much fun to create and I am definitely going to use these more on layouts and simply as tags.  As I mentioned earlier, I used the APB Get It Done stamp set with VersaFine Clair inks in Morning Mist and Warm Breeze to stamp it.  I recommend using a stamp platform to get the notebook page as centered as possible. You can see I added even more Twisted Gumball Trendy Twine on the tag!  As a finishing touch, I glued on sequins from the Raspberry Cupcake and Blue Berry mixes.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

If you don't need a full spool of Twisted Gumball, there are petite spools!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Ice Cream Card

Hello all! Today I am on the Trendy Twine blog. I don't know about you, but we have been having some HOT temperatures lately, and what better treat on these hot summer days could there be than ice cream?!
I used papers and tags from the Authentique Sweetness Collection on this card.  From Annie's Paper Boutique5" Paper Doily that I trimmed the sides of and glued it to the background, a Pink Midnight Trendy Page Dot on the front tag, and Bubblegum Taffy Trendy Twine at the top of all three tags.  To embellish, I added pearl pen dots in bronze.  Adhesives used include ATG, Bearly Art glue and foam tape.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Bakers Twine~End Of School Year Treats

Hello all!  'Tis the season for end of school year/start of summer projects, and that is just what I created for my latest Trendy Twine blog project.
These were super simple to make and absolutely can be made last minute if needed!  All of the supplies I used to make these were from Annie's Paper Boutique besides the mini glue dots for the sequins.  I started by putting fun size Kit Kat bars into Yellow Chevron Treat Bags and folded over the tops.
To embellish them, I made "thread nests" of Lemon Tart Trendy TwineYellow Chevron Treat BagsFun in the Sun PrintablesMini Wooden Clothespins, and Autumn Sequins.  The last thing I did was a bow of Totally Lemon Trendy Twine tied to the clothespins.  Yes, it really was that simple!
The sayings and images in the Fun in the Sun Printable are so cute for summer!  You'll definitely want to check that out for any and all of your summer projects.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

6"x6" One Sheet Wonder Cards

Good morning!  I recently decided to try out a One Sheet Wonder diagram of 6- 6"x6" papers to yield 8 cards from Kathryn B.'s blog.  I used her Template #2 with papers from Echo Park's Summer Dreams 6x6" pad for this set of bright summery cards.

This was what I created for Cards 1A, 1B, and 1C.  Stamps were from Amazon, stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black for "happy", and VersaMark with white embossing powder for "birthday".  I placed the paper with "happy" on my Brother Scan N Cut mat, which cut around it, then I shadowed it to create the vellum underlay beneath the word.  The black sentiment strip was popped up and the finishing touch was a few sequins.

Cards 4A and 4B also have a birthday theme to them.  The stamp is retired from My Craft Spot (Chalkboard Sentiments) and was stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed with clear powder.  I also used a white gel pen to fill in the open places within the letters making the stamp pop a little more.  A trio of enamel dots finished off these cards.

This duo is cards 2A and 2B.  The image stamp is Pink and Main Sunflowers stamp set.  The sentiment is from Paper Sweeties So Sweet Of You set.  It was all stamped with Scrapbook.com hybrid black ink and colored with Artify alcohol markers.
The stamped image was die cut with a GMD Up & Down In & Out square die.  The focal point was popped up with foam tape and two yellow enamel dots were placed in the top left corner.
The final card was Card 3 on the template.  This one was quite simple.  The sentiment was from Pink and Main Sunflowers set and was stamped in black.  The sunglasses were cut with my Silhouette Cameo and popped up.  Enamel dots on the sunglasses and flamingo paper added a bit of visual interest.
Other adhesives used on all cards include Bearly Art precision tip glue and ATG.
What do you think?  I really loved the layout of these cards!  They definitely don't look like you were trying to scrimp on patterned paper, which is what some OSW templates end up looking like.  If you like them, head to Kathryn B.'s blog and try them for yourself!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Popsicle Friendship Card

Hello all!  Today I am on the Trendy Twine blog with a fun summer themed project that features Lime Grapesicle Trendy Twine.  Did you know this twist is intended to be used for Halloween or Mardi Gras projects?  Guess what?  I used it because I love the bright colors and they work perfect for summer.  I encourage you to do the same with any of your "traditional" craft supplies.  Use them for something new and unexpected!
This was a fairly simple card.  The background has washi tape strips in green and purple on it and I added strips of Lime Grapesicle Trendy Twine around the washi tape.  I glued a bow of Lime Grapesicle Trendy Twine on the center wrap of twine, then added the stamped sentiment from Friendship Stamps in purple ink.  The twin popsicles were svg files and I inked the edges of the cuts for extra dimension.  Grape Fizz Sequins added a little sparkle to the card front and all that was matted with green and purple cardstock to tie the color scheme together.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

4th of July Birthday Card

Happy Sunday! For a while I will be posting for the SumMore Fun blog on Sundays instead of my regular Wednesdays. We will be having weekend promos in which a certain stamp set will be free with your order of $35+. Awesome, right?! This weekend, through Monday, you can get the Raisin Boat Red, White & Blue stamp set at no cost if you make a $35+ order.  Here is what I made for inspiration:
I started with a white piece of cardstock and stamped the fireworks image from the Red, White & Blue set with VersaMark.  Two of them I heat embossed with gold powder, and the other 3 I embossed with a silver glitter powder.  I love how the gold looked on the white, but once the ink blending took place, the silver glitter was definitely more showy.  I then used Distress Oxides in Fossilized Amber, Candied Apple, and Blueprint Sketch to blend with brushes on the fireworks.  I then came back in with Chipped Sapphire DO to fill in the rest of the night sky, then blended Black Soot DO around the outside edge.  I also sealed the ink with a few light sprays of Mod Podge matte clear acrylic sealer so the ink wouldn't rub off.
The sentiment stamp was also from Red, White & Blue, I simply masked off the USA at the bottom right portion of the stamp since this is going to be for my dad whose birthday is July 4th!  Once stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black ink, I heat embossed the sentiment with black powder.  I wound Celebration Trendy Twine in a circle and glued it to the card front before adhering the sentiment banner with foam tape.  The final touches were GMD New Years Sparkle enamel dots.

Here is a look at the Red, White & Blue stamp set:
How do you get it for free?? To claim this deal, simply add Red, White & Blue to your shopping cart and continue shopping at SumMore Fun. Once your order *excluding* Red, White & Blue reaches a subtotal of $35, Red, White & Blue will automatically be marked down!

Trendy Bakers Twine ~ Summer Candy Chutes

Good morning and happy Thursday!  I have these fun summery treats on the Trendy Twine blog today.  We are trying to squeeze in every last bit of fun before school starts in one week, so I decided to make these treats for my boys. I used this month's spotlight products of Biggie Candy Chutes and Classic Navy Trendy Twine to make them.
As you can see, I added M&M's to the Biggie Candy Chutes.  They hold a lot!  These will be sure to make my boys VERY happy :)  To the outside of the chutes, I used mini Glue Dots to adhere images from the Fun In The Sun printables.  Those are ONLY $1 for a very short time, so make sure to grab them while they are on sale!
I decided to make a rope out of the Classic Navy Trendy Twine using a Sizzix Twist & Style tool.  I really like how it turned out!  I wrapped it around the chutes then added a few Frosted Cranberry sequins with micro Glue Dots.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:
