Hello all! I am back with a project for the
Trendy Twine blog that features
Lemon Midnight Trendy Twine. I love the versatility of that twist! It works amazing for masculine projects, spring projects, and of course, bee themed projects, which is what I am sharing today.
On this card, I used several patterned papers from
Echo Park's Bee Happy 6x6" paper pad. I wrapped
Lemon Midnight Trendy Twine around both sides of the center strip of patterned paper two times to create a border. The GMD double stitched hexagon die cuts popped up with
foam tape made a perfect landing pad for little bumblebees that I punched out of the patterned paper! I then created bee trails by using my
precision glue press and just freehanding curly lines, then adding more
Lemon Midnight Trendy Twine to those glue lines. For the sentiment strip, I used the Pink and Main Sweet stamp set with
Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and
Scrapbook.com Daffodil ink. That also was
popped up at an angle with the same angle as the hexagon sides in the middle of the card. I also added a trio of honey colored gems to finish everything off.

The
Lemon Midnight Sampler is perfect if you don't need a full spool. Each color is ten yards in length and comes on a wooden clothespin for easy use and storage.
