Here are close-ups of the hexagons and embellishments that I used. I did machine stitching, used metal accents and tiny buttons with embroidery floss.
All the paper I used was from DCWV's Stripes, Dots and Plaids stack. I feel it really matched the color scheme of the pictures well.
I guess it just goes to show that we can all find inspiration everywhere we look. I didn't think I'd be able to follow someone else's design for scrapbooking, but I did and I LOVE the way it turned out!
