These pages are 8.5"x11". I have a 2" three ring binder that I am using for his scrapbook for this school year and I just use plain page protectors that you can find anywhere to slide the pages into. Much cheaper than traditional scrapbooking if you buy all the supplies at back to school time when everything is crazy cheap. Plus I can fit a lot of pages in his album then.
For page #1, this is what I came up with. The title came from the Reading Time SVG set from ScrappyDew. The pamphlet in the center was where they put the stickers they receive every time they get a pizza. It folds out and I had to use a paperclip to keep it closed. The pictures on the bottom of the page are of three books that he likes according to the inside of the pamphlet.
Here is the pamphlet all opened up. There is more journaling and reward stickers on the back of it as well.
Page 2 is a bit less busy! I created the I heart books caption in SCAL2.
And a close-up of the oh-so-sweet reading boy that is also cut out from the Reading Time files from ScrappyDew. I think he looks so much like my son!
The background paper is from the Grade School stack by DCWV. I love every sheet of paper in that stack!
I hope you enjoyed my layout and if you did and want to make one of your own, head on over to ScrappyDew and check out their files. They have so many cute ones you will have a hard time picking just one set to buy. But that is just fine because they have an awesome sale going on now...80% off your purchase of $35 or more! Enjoy!
