Monochromatic Hearts Card

Today I am sharing a card that I created right before the tornado hit last week.  Today I FINALLY was able to do some fun crafting after a week of not having time to do so, so I am getting back into the swing of things slowly but surely!
This card was made with DCWV's Mariposa stack.  All of the papers in that stack are so beautifiul and elegant.  You can see the gold leafing on the black paper.  I wanted to bring that shine out, so I added sequins on my card around the sentiment.  The white layer is actually 2 layers of cardstock glued together to make it extra sturdy and I popped that up with foam dots.
I think the bow really finished the card off and added just the right touch of softness :)

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

  5. Love your card, Beth. I like how the colors in the hearts fade from red to light pink and the sequins. You can't go wrong with adding a crinkle ribbon bow either! Love it. Thanks for playing along with us at CardzTV!!
