Beautiful Winter Card

If you are like me, you are probably getting really sick of the nasty cold weather we have been having lately.  Seriously, a high of 0 is sad, especially when there is wind to go with it!  I felt inspired to create something beautiful with a winter theme with the Winterland paper collection from Moxxie.
I made a step card using files from SVG Attic.  The card base is from their Step Card SVG Collection, the gorgeous snowflake was from their Ornament Kit and the swirls on the steps are from Winter Flurries.  For the swirls, I cut them each three times and glued them on top of each other for added strength.
The sentiment was embossed and I finished it off with a bow of Blue Berry Trendy Twine!  I also added dots of pearl pen to the card base and rhinestones on the snowflake.  The button in the center of the snowflake is actually a brad that I colored the center of to bring out the darker blue from the trim.

I hope you stay warm wherever you are, and have a wonderfully crafty day!
