Julie's Blogoversary Blog Hop


Welcome to the 3rd Edition of "Julie's Blogoversary Blog Hop".  We're so glad you have joined us!  Julie has gathered together her friends and tons of sponsors to make this a GREAT event!

Here is what I created for this hop!
 I made this card with...what else...Girl Scout cookies!!  Well, not real ones, of course.  These awesome SVG files are from ScrappyDew.  Right now you can get 30% off of your entire purchase by using the code provided at THIS link!  Awesome deal, huh??  Anyway, here is a closeup of the cookies so you can see the embossing I did on them to make them look more realistic.  I even tried to coordinate the color of banner they are on with the box that the actual cookies come in.
The banner is tied together with the wonderful Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine.

    Beth, this is SUCH a creative idea! I have spent the last 2 days giving away the many boxes of Girl Scout cookies that I ordered. I cannot say no to those sweet faces. But we do not NEED all these cookies. So, I gift them to co-workers, the fire department, the maintenance deparment, the pastor at church -- you get the idea.     Such a delicious card...I especially love the middle cookie...those are my favorite. Too bad our Girl Guides here in Canada don't get to sell those ones :( Great idea for a card for a sweet friend though.
