GIU Gal Day#5

Hello all! Welcome to Day 5 of my Growing in Unity week. I am thrilled to be able to showcase Unity Stamp Co. products every day this week. Make sure you follow along and comment on my blog each day for a chance to win $20 Unity gift certificates sponsored by Unity Stamp Co!

My fifth and final project of the week is a 5x7 graduation card. My oldest son graduates in May, so I have been working ahead to make cards for all the graduations we will be invited to!
The focal point of this card is a stamp from the May 2023 KOM, Bloom in Color. I stamped it with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink, then heat embossed it with Wow! clear gloss embossing powder. I just love that shine! The layers of the focal point were die cut with Cottage Cutz Stitched Rounded Rectangle dies. It was popped up with foam tape onto the card.
The patterned papers are from Echo Park's Graduation 12x12 collection. The tassel was made with Midnight Trendy Twine and the final embellishment was a trio of GMD New Years sparkle enamel dots. Additional adhesives used on this card include Bearly Art precision glue and ATG.
Make sure you leave a comment here before you go and come back next week for the winners of the two Unity gift certificates!!
Here are the previous posts for my GIU week in case you missed them: Day 1Day 2, Day 3, Day 4
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

  7. I love that sentiment and you are so smart to make them now as the time will fly by. My daughter-in-law received her masters degree today, so I need to get one made for her.
