Teacher's Treat Jar

This treat jar is for my son's kindergarten teacher as an end of the year gift.  I up-cycled a pint canning jar from my storage room that was begging to be used for something crafty :)  I used pattern paper from DCWV's dots stripes and plaids stack.  The colors are so fresh and springy!  The tag on the front I used a Stampin' Up stamp.  The bottlecap is an embellishment from the Paper Studio and the Kraft colored circle inside with the Kiss on it is covered with a round 1" epoxy.  I think you will be seeing those epoxy's a lot in my crafting from now on :)  I also added gray, black, blue and green twine to hold the tags on.
This is what the top looks like.  The polka dot paper is 2", the scalloped circle is 1.75" and the white circle is 1.25".  The tiny Hershey's kiss is sized at 0.5" and is from the Land of Candy SVG set from ScrappyDew.

This is a view of both the top of the jar and the front so you get the whole idea...
Here is the jar with the card that I made to match that is also using SVG files from the Land of Candy SVG set.  If you are interested in the blog post for the card, you can check it out here.
I hope you enjoy this project.  Have a wonderfully crafty day!
