Welcome to the Operation Write Home Memorial Day Blog Hop!
Operation Write Home, a charity that has supported heroes with handmade cards since 2007, will be closing later this year. All cards need to be sent in by August 1st, so I’m helping to get the word out!The theme this year, is to create a card with red, white and blue in it. I chose traditional red, off white and turquoise blue for mine :) The stamps, washi tape, twine and thin foam tape I used are all from Oriental Trading. I used watercolors to color the pincushion.
The three skittles in the top left corner are from DoubleClick Connections. I also stamped the inside of the card, which I don't normally do for OWH cards, but I can always add another panel of paper on the opposite side of the inside to write on.
Now, head back to the main page for the rest of the blog hop. Just click on the picture below to take you there.
And remember, send all of your cards in to OWH before August 1st!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
