Trendy Twine ~ Happy Halloween Boot Card

Happy Halloween all!  Today my whole Trendy Twine DT are posting fun Halloween cards, so be sure to head on over to the Trendy Twine blog to see them all!
To start with, I made the witch boot card from SVG Attic's Bewitched Boutique set.  I used Orange Licorice and Lime Licorice Trendy Twine to lace up the boot.  I really like the look of the two colors together for the laces.  The papers and pearls are from Oriental Trading.

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:
Halloween Orange Licorice Trendy Twine - Halloween Bakers Twine

Halloween Lime Licorice Trendy Twine - Lime Green & Black

Spooky Halloween Card

We are having a Halloween swap between the Trendy Twine design team.  Here is the card I created for my DT sister, Jessica.
To make this card, I started with a card base using DCWV's Fall and Halloween 6"x12" stack.  It has a cute shaped bottom border pre-cut on it.  I wrapped lots of Orange Licorice Trendy Twine around the base.  I added Halloween elements that my blogger friend, Karen, had sent me.  I added a tassel of Lime Licorice Trendy Twine to the tag to finish it off.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Vinyled Ceramic Pumpkin

Halloween is only a few short days away, so I decided to decorate this ceramic pumpkin for my SVG Attic post.
The files from SVG Attic that I used on my pumpkin are the "F" Split Monogram (or you can purchase the whole split monogram alphabet HERE) and the swirls are from JGW Raven Quest.
To prepare the ceramic pumpkin, I sprayed it with white matte spray paint.  Then I watered down black acrylic paint and dripped it down the crease lines to make a more grungy look.  Here is a side view.
Yes, even the back is vinyled!  I used orange and black permanent vinyl so it would for sure stick well.  I get most of my vinyl HERE.
Here is a close up of what I did to decorate the stem.  I painted it black and then wrapped Orange Licorice Trendy Twine around it.  Then I added a bow of burlap ribbon with a button in the center.
Last year I added vinyl to a real pumpkin.  If you want to see that post, click HERE.

Die Cuttin Diva's GDT Happy Halloween!

Hello crafty friends!  Today I have the honor of being a guest designer for Die Cuttin' Diva's!  They start a new challenge today with a Halloween theme.  You have one week to enter the current challenge.  Just remember to use a die cut on your project!
The file I used for this card is from SVG Attic's Ghostly Sweet Tooth.  I used cardstock and Halloween papers from Oriental Trading also added adhesive pearls to this card. The teeth or "braces" on it are pop tabs that I stitched on with Orange Truffle Trendy Twine.
The finishing touch was creating the curly twine pieces to resemble vines.  I used Lime Licorice Trendy Twine for those.  To make the curls, I simply diluted mod podge with water and saturated the Trendy Twine with the solution.  I then wrapped it around a drinking straw and left it to dry.
I was a Guest Diva!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Hello Fall with the new APB Stamps

Good morning crafty friends!  Today is my day to post on the Trendy Twine blog.  I am SO excited to share several BRAND NEW products that are in the Annie's Paper Boutique store with you!
I was so excited about the new Hello Fall stamps.  The images in that set are simply darling and the font of the words is so elegant!  They are what I planned my card around.  I used a lot of the stamps on the tag as the focal point.
I used some of the brand new twines, Spiced Pumpkin Trendy Twine and Totally Pumpkin Trendy Twine, to make the tassel on the tag.  I am totally loving these new fall colors!  I used a Hello Fall Trendy Page Dot at the top of the tag.
Here is a closeup of those stamps on the bottom.  I made SVG files for the stamps so I wouldn't have to hand cut around them.  It worked great!  I also embellished the bottom of the card with the Autumn Sequins Mix.

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:
Hello Fall stamps
Hello Fall Planner Stamp Set - 4x3

Spiced Pumpkin Trendy Twine - Orange, Natural, and Brown

Totally Pumpkin Trendy Twine - Solid Orange Bakers Twine

Autumn Sequins Mix - Thanksgiving, Fall

Hello Fall Trendy Page Dot

Trick Or Treat Layout

Good morning crafty friends!  I have to say that DCWV papers are always a go-to for me.  They are always cute and cut very well with my Cameo, which is a must!  The stack of papers that I used with this LO is their new Halloween one called Spooky Delight.
I created this using the sketch at the monthly challenge on the DCWV blog.  For embellishments, I added a double bow of Twisted Lime Trendy Twine, Orange Licorice Trendy Twine wrapped around the large picture and some homemade enamel dots.
I also used some Halloween washi tape and the spider web die cuts are from last year's Halloween and Fall embellishments from DCWV.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Train Baby Card

This baby card is to welcome the newest addition of the SVG Attic family!  Mike and Kenzie, the owners of SVG Attic, are going to welcome a new baby boy to their family very soon!  We are all so excited for them!  All my fellow I-Team members also made cards for them.  Stop by the SVG Attic blog to see all of those.

Here is what I created for them...
For the card base, I used the double bi-fold card base from SVG Attic's JGW Fashionably French set.  The circles and the train are from the Baby Boy set.

I had a lot of fun with this card.  I used patterned papers from the Paper Studio's Little Boys and Their Toys paper stack.  The sentiment on the front is also from the Baby Boy set.  I cut it from white vinyl since it was going to be quite small.  It worked great!  I embellished the front with buttons and Chocolate Sprinkles Trendy Twine.
Here is the inside view.
And yes, the back is even decorated!
I made the card to coordinate with the burp cloths and onesie I made for them :)
Mike, Kenzie and family, best wishes to you as you add another sweetheart to your family!

Baby Love Layout

I am very behind on my scrapbooking.  I just don't seem to take the time to do it!  The pictures on this layout are 3 years old.  I decided to join in the sketch challenge at DCWV to get back to doing at least one page this month LOL!
I didn't follow the sketch exactly since I had these three pictures I wanted on it.  The sketch only had two photo areas.  I guess I took a creative license to make it my own ;)  The papers I used are from DCWV's Fiesta Forever stack.  I love the bright colors and prints in this stack!  Gorgeous papers for sure.
I added washi tape in various areas and two bows of Candy Cane Trendy Twine which matched the colors in the LO perfectly.  I used my Cameo to cut the half circle embellishments and the title.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Pink Birthday Card

Since I have three boys, I rarely get to play with lots of girly scrapbooking papers.  You know, the ones that I really, truly love!  I decided to make a card for DCWV's sketch challenge that totally was my style, not for anyone else.
I used DCWV's  8"x8"Sweet stack for this card.  It is full of glitter and lots of PINK (my favorite color)!  I also have always loved the color combo of pink and brown, which this paper fits as well.  Talk about a win-win situation all around!
I felt this paper was very fitting for a birthday card, so that is the theme I went with.  The rectangle layer and the oval layer are popped up with foam tape.  For the finishing touch, I wrapped Chocolate Cupcake Trendy Twine around it and tied it in a bow.

I love how this card turned out.  Even though I didn't make it with any recipient in mind, I had so much fun making it.  Sometimes projects like this are the best form of crafting!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Twine - Halloween Banner Card

Good morning crafty friends! Today is my day to post on the Trendy Twine blog. All month long, we are featuring Halloween Trendy Twines and today I am using Lime Licorice.
I send Halloween cards out to all of my family members, so I try to think of something that is fairly quick but still cute.  I think this card fits the bill! The penants were part of the patterned paper, and I knew that I wanted to create as soon as I saw it.  I love the way the papers and washi tape coordinate so well with the Lime Licorice Trendy Twine.

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Quick Halloween Cards

I send out Halloween cards to family members every year.  This year, I was very fortunate to receive Halloween scrapbooking supplies from Oriental Trading and I made these cards with those elements.
For these first two cards, I used some of their awesome Halloween patterned paper and coordinating washi tape.  Paired with fun stamps from Pink and Main, I think they turned out very cute!

The bottom card also uses more of that patterned paper and I used punches to make the design.  I thought the cracked embossing folder added a lot to the background.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Halloween Treat Boxes

Happy Wednesday!  Today is my day to post on the SVG Attic blog.  I have been crafting like crazy for Halloween lately.  Here are the treat boxes that I made for my boys this year.  They are from SVG Attic's Halloween Character Boxes set
I kept them very simple, just adding some fun crinkle seam binding from my friend, Karen (Thank you!) and adhesive pearls.

These boxes are the perfect size to add a couple fun size candy bars.  They were quick to cut out and very easy to assemble too!

If you want to see the treats I made for my boys last Halloween, head on over to THIS blog post.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
