Hello all!  Happy Halloween!  Today the Trendy Twine DT is sharing projects that we have created using the new colors of sequins that are in the Annie's Paper Boutique store today.  Make sure to stop by the TT blog to see all of the fabulous creations!
I used Chocolate Truffle Sequins with the coordinating Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine.  All of the stamped images and sentiments on this card are from the APB Need Coffee stamp set.  I made it into a shaker!
The papers I used are from DCWV's Sophisticated Neutrals stack.

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Patchwork Sympathy Card

Hello and happy Monday!  Today's card was one that I sent to a very dear friend a few months ago as a sympathy card.  The base of the card (patchwork heart card) is from SVG Attic's JGW Sewn From The Heart set.  The file was created by Jodi, who was the one who I sent this card to!
I added a Cottage Cutz Ornate Cross manual die cut to the front as well as GMD Sophisticated enamel dots.  The papers are from DCWV's Blue China stack.  I inked around the quilt die cuts with brown chalk ink for extra visual interest.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Victorine Originals Challenge ~ Mood Board #14

Happy Friday! Today is the start of a new challenge at the Victorine Originals blog with a new mood board (you can see it at the bottom of this post). Here is what I created for inspiration!
I started by die cutting a piece of Canson XL watercolor paper with a GMD stitched rectangle die.  I then inked it up with Distress Oxide inks in Peacock Feathers, Peeled Paint, and Fossilized Amber.  Once those were blended well, I sprayed water on the paper to create the "oxide" look.  I went around the outside of the paper with Walnut Stain Distress Oxide Ink.  I then stamped the VO Pumpkins on a Vine stamp in the corner.  The VO Heaven on Earth sentiment was stamped on a separate banner piece.  Both were stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black ink and embossed with clear embossing powder.
I chose to highlight the pumpkins with a white chalk marker.  I also added GMD Paradise enamel dots and Nuvo Crystal Drops in white (they took on the yellow color of the Distress Oxide ink underneath).

This is the wonderful mood board for the current challenge:
Head on over to the Victorine Originals blog and check out their challenge post. You have two weeks to enter your project/s.  We can't wait to see your take on the current Mood Board. With fall leaves, pumpkins, thanks and fall colors for inspiration, the possibilities are endless. Remember your project doesn't have to be Give Thanks only. You have three options Photo Inspiration, Color Palette, and/or Theme.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

You're One Of A Kind Card

Good morning!  This card is for all you teachers out there.  I used the GMD Puzzle Background die with Recollections school print cardstock to create it.
I offset one puzzle piece that I cut from DCWV's Glitzy Glitter paper and added the printed sentiment (Latina Font, size 24) to show my appreciation for all that teachers do!  The embellishments include Totally Black Trendy Twine and GMD Patriotic Sparkle dots.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Twine ~ Halloween Lantern

Happy Wednesday!  I am super excited to share this Halloween lantern on the Trendy Twine blog today.
The whole color scheme for this lantern was based off of the Lime Orangesicle Trendy Twine I knew that I was going to use.  The file for the lantern is from SVG Attic's SDS Glowing Halloween set.
I wrapped the Lime Orangesicle Trendy Twine around the top of the lantern and added a Black Licorice Tag-It that I had decorated.  The sentiment is from the APB Happy Halloween stamp set.  I used Versamark ink and white embossing powder to make it really POP off of that black!  The embellishments include a Lime Orangesicle Trendy Page DotAutumn Sequins and a bow of Lime Orangesicle Trendy Twine.
Here is how it looks all lit up in the dark!  Spooky fun for sure!

SVG Attic Halloween Cards

Happy Monday!  I am on the SVG Attic blog today with these two Halloween cards.  I send out cards to all of my family, so I make several Halloween cards each year :)
Both of these card files are from the SDS Glowing Halloween set.  The haunted house easel card is very detailed, but simple to assemble.  I embellished with a sentiment from APB Happy Halloween stamp set and Skittles inside.
Here is the view of it folded flat for mailing.  The papers I used on these cards are from Recollections' Haunted Manor stack.
I really love the style of this second card!  The flourishes in the web are so pretty.
This is a big card, meauring 6.5" square, so it is sure to make a statement!  I also embellished this card with Skittles (attached with mini Glue Dots) and a bow of Lime Licorice Trendy Twine.
I also added clear glitter Wink Of Stella on the sentiment and spider cuts.

Here is the set that I used the files from:

Quilt Sewing Card

Fun fact...did you know that one of my first crafting loves was sewing?  Yup!  My mom let me use her sewing machine when I was 5.  I have a 5 year old and there is NO WAY I would let him near my sewing machines LOL!  What was my mom thinking?  We will go with encouraging my creativity ;)
Anyway, here is my card for today.  I uses the lovely GMD Block Style Quilt Die #6.
The patterned paper I used was from Echo Park's Sew Lovely 6x6 paper pad.  I added a tie of In The Navy Trendy Twine in the center.
I added stamps from Oriental Trading with Versafine Onyx Black ink and clear embossing powder.  I shaded the stamping with a white chalk marker and a white gel pen.  I finished it off with Nuvo Crystal Drops in white and black.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Rose Anniversary Card

I created this card earlier this year, but it slipped through the cracks of my photo albums and didn't get posted ;)  This was for my husband's grandparents for their 62nd wedding anniversary.
Those rose die cuts were unbranded dies from eBay.  I made them in pink and blue, their wedding colors.  I also used GMD scalloped stitched rectangle dies for layers.  The papers were from DCWV's Fairytale Dreams stack.  I added a white doily under the top rectangle layer.
The stamp is from My Sentiments Exactly's Anniversary Innies and Outies.  I embellished with Nuvo Crystal Drops in white.  Adhesives used were Zig 2 Way ballpoint glue pen, ATG and Scotch foam tape.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Mummy Halloween Card

Hello all!  Today I am back with another adorable Halloween card using Victorine Originals' Halloween Kids stamp set.
I stamped that cute little mummy on newsprint paper with VersaFine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.  I die cut with GMD slash stitched ovals to create a focal point for it.  They are popped up with foam tape.
The plaid background was die cut with a GMD stitched rectangle die.  In the bottom right corner I stamped a sentiment from the Halloween Kids set with VersaMark and embossed it with white embossing powder.  All the patterned papers are from Pepples' Boo! 6x6 pad.  The last thing I added was GMD Citrus Twist enamel dots on the banner.
Here is a full look at that awesome Halloween Kids stamp set:

Remember, we have this mood board challenge going on right now! Here is the inspiration photo for it. You can use the pictures, theme, and/or colors to enter.

Make A Wish Owl Card

This birthday card was a fun one!  My brother likes owls, so of course, I have to go a little overboard when I make him a card ;)
The papers are from My Mind's Eye Hootenanny 6x6 paper pad.  I used GMD up & down in & out cut square dies for the focal point with the fussy cut images.
The enamel dots I used are from GMD beach party and tropical island collections.  The sentiment banner and the owl were popped up with foam tape.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day.

Trendy Twine ~ Owl Treat Bags

Happy Monday!  I am sharing these fun fall themed treat bags on the Trendy Twine blog today.
I started with Short Candy Bags and filled them with a yummy treat mix (pretzels, peanuts, candy corn and M&M's).  I decided to decorate them with owl die cuts from SVG Attic's Give A Hoot collection.  For the girl owl, I added a bow of Spiced Pumpkin Trendy Twine on her head.
For the boy owl, I made a bow tie out of Spiced Pumpkin Trendy Twine.  I stamped sentiments from the APB Happy Thanksgiving stamp set onto banners and adhered them to the bag with Glue Dots so it looked like the owl was perched on the sentiment.  I added Autumn Sequins to the sentiment banners and then wrapped and tied Spiced Pumpkin Trendy Twine around the treat bag.

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:
