Trendy Bakers Twine~Spring Candy Wrapper Kit

Hello all!  Today for the Trendy Twine blog I am sharing a darling new product available at Annie's Paper Boutique called the Festive Stripes Candy Wrapper Kit.  Actually, there are three candy wrapper kits now available that are just darling and are a snap to put together for favors or simply a treat to let someone know you care.
As I said, I used the Festive Stripes Candy Wrapper Kit.  I love the colorful stripes on the paper, but the back side has the pink polka dots which I also love, so I used both!  I simply added a mini Glue dot to the back of the candy, placed the wrapper around the candy, then secured the end of the wrapper with another Glue Dot.  These fit Hershey's Miniatures candies perfectly! I tied a bit of Lemon Tart Trendy Twine around the three pink polka dot wrappers and slid them into the included clear bag,  For a topper, I started with a Sky Tag-It, stamped a sentiment on it in black in from the Choose Happy stamp set, then added a Pink Midnight Trendy Page Dot and Lemon Tart Trendy Twine at the top.  I used the Cottage Cutz Kayla Butterfly die to create the pretty butterfly for the tag.  The tag was attached to the bag with two more Glue Dots.

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Bakers Twine~Princess Card

Hello all!  I am posting on the Trendy Twine blog today.  This month we are featuring Lemon Tart Trendy Twine, which is what I used on this card.  I just love how bright and cheerful that twist of Trendy Twine is!
I started by adding washi tape at an angle on the white cardstock panel.  I then glued the Lemon Tart Trendy Twine above and below the washi tape to create even more angled lines.  I used a stamp platform with stamps from the Smile stamp set and black ink for the sentiment.  I added a bow of Lemon Tart Trendy Twine and Cotton Candy Sequins with Lineco Adhesive.  The white panel was matted with a loopy rectangle die cut of black cardstock.  I chose an aqua card base to it would have a peek of color through the die cut.

Unicorn Spit Best Wishes Card

Hello all!  Have you heard about the "Stimulus Package" that SumMore Fun is currently offering?  It is a box FULL of crafty goodness which includes one of the stamp sets I used on my 5x7" card for today called Raisin Boat No Loss For Words.  The other stamp set I used on this card features that gorgeous rose stamp and is called SMF Sundri's A Rose By Any Other Name.
Here is a close look at the stamped sentiment from the No Loss For Words set.  This is just one of the 22 sentiments on that set.  I stamped it on watercolor paper with Versafine Onyx Black ink then heat embossed with a Pearl White powder that gave it a silverish metallic look.  It is very pretty in person!  I also stamped the rose from Sundri's A Rose By Any Other Name using the same technique.
Let's talk about the colors you see on the watercolor paper!  Those beauties are the Sparkling Unicorn Spit samples.  I took a paintbrush and added some Unicorn Spit to my glass craft mat, sprayed some water on it, then tapped my paper into it over and over with gold, green, blue, and purple.  There is so much shimmer in the Sparkling Unicorn Spit!  If you look closely in the top right corner of the image below, you can see some of that shine.  I also did paint parts of the stamped image with straight Sparkling Unicorn Spit.  I matted the stamped panel with solid colored cardstocks. To finish off the card, I added three glitter enamel dots. Normally, I would have used Pearl Pen, but this was a last minute card that didn't have time to dry, so pre-made dots it was!
Let's take a closer look at EVERYTHING you get in the SumMore Fun Stimulus Package...

Rainbow Bridge Card

Hello all!  Today I am back to post for the SumMore Fun blog.  This time I have a card that is a little different for me...a pet sympathy card.  I knew the Raisin Boat Paws to Remember stamp set was perfect for this card, and I paired it with the RB Strokes of Pride stamp set to make a rainbow bridge theme.  Both of those stamp sets are currently retired from SumMore Fun, but I still wanted to share this card as you may be lucky enough to have those sets or similar ones in your craft room!
First off, I stamped the brush stroke stamp from RB Strokes of Pride on a piece of white cardstock in true rainbow colors using Scrapbook.com ink. (Cardinal Red, Orange Spice, Daffodil, Pine, Postal Blue, Mardi Gras)  Using my stamp platform ensured they were perfectly spaced.  I then stamped the paw print from Raisin Boat Paws to Remember onto vellum with VersaMark ink and heat embossed it with glitter silver embossing powder.  I wrapped the vellum around the rainbow cardstock, then also wrapped Totally Black Trendy Twine around the edge of the vellum to make the vellum stand out a little more.  Then I adhered the rainbow card panel to the card base at an angle.
The inside was stamped with Raisin Boat Paws to Remember stamps using Black and Cardinal Red inks.
This card wasn't an easy one to make, but having the great Raisin Boat Paws to Remember made it so much easier!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Minion Take-Out Box

Hello everyone!  Today I am on the Trendy Twine blog.  This month we are featuring Lemon Tart Trendy Twine and Mini Kraft Take Out Boxes.  What I think of when I see yellow is....MINIONS!  My kids have all of the movies and have even given themselves minion nicknames ;) So naturally, I had to make this treat box with that theme.
I started with a Mini Kraft Take Out Box and covered the sides with Minion cardstock.  Once that was on, I framed the front "Bob" panel with Lemon Tart Trendy Twine using Lineco adhesive and a precision tip bottle.  After filling the box with treats, I created the tag.
I stamped a sentiment from the You've Got Mail stamp set and stamped it in brown ink onto a Mango Tag-It.  I decorated the tag with a Kraft Brown Trendy Page Dot and Frosted Cranberry Sequins, then tied it with a bow of Lemon Tart Trendy Twine to the box handle.

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:
