Vintage Baseball Card

Good Morning!  Today is my day to post on the SumMore Fun blog.  The card I am sharing with you uses the Victorine Originals Baseball stamp set from SumMore Fun.  I am always in need of masculine cards, so this one was perfect to create!
I started by stamping the sheet music, baseball, and baseball bat in different colors of ink.  The bat and ball were cut around with my Brother Scan N Cut.  I added the stamped elements to my card base that I had decorated with papers from DCWV's Industrial Chic stack and a tie of Berry Trendy Twine.  I really liked the vintage feel this card has!
Here is a look at what the whole Baseball stamp set looks like!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Rose Shaped Card

Good morning to all my crafty friends!  Today is my day to post on the SVG Attic blog.  I am starting on my Valentine's Day cards with this project.  The file I used is called Fancy Rose Stem Shaped Card from the Pushing Petals kit.  You can find a tutorial for the assembly HERE.
I kept the file the original size and cut it out of papers from The Paper Studio's Country Road paper pad for the flower and solid cardstock for the rest of the cuts.  I added Glitter Pink Pearl Pen dots on the flower and inked all the cuts with brown chalk ink.
I used the included "love you" sentiment, but there are several other banner sentiments to choose from on the SVG Attic website including "sweetheart", "God bless", "valentine", and "get well".  I wrapped some Pinkberry Sorbet Trendy Twine around the stem and tied it in a bow for a little more sweetness.
The bud area opens on the back side to reveal an area for writing a note.  It is such a sweet card!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Crocus Birthday Card

Hello friends!  I am back with another blog post for the Trendy Twine blog.  Our featured twine for the month is Totally White Trendy Twine.  It is a must have in your crafting stash because it is so versatile...plus it is on SALE this month!  Here is the card I created with it...
Where is the Totally White Trendy Twine you ask?  I changed it into that lovely lavender color with a Copic marker (BV11)!  I colored it first, so it would have time to dry before adding it to my card.
Ready for a quick tutorial?  I stamped the image and sentiment from SumMore Fun's Crocus Craving stamp set using Versafine Onyx Black ink.  I watercolored the image using Distress Oxide inks in Dusty Concord, Fossilized Amber, and Lucky Clover then sat that aside to dry.
Then I made an A2 sized white cardstock panel for the outside frame of the card.  One color at a time, I placed ink on my craft mat, spritzed it with water, then dabbed the edges of my cardstock into it, heat setting it between colors.  I repeated the process until I was happy with how it looked.  Using my paper trimmer, I cut in 3/4" from all sides to leave just the outside, so it doesn't matter how messy the inside area is!
Here is a close up of how it turned out!  I love how well the altered Totally White Trendy Twine matches the card.
After adhering the twine and frame to the crocus panel, I added Grape Fizz Sequins with Micro Glue Dots to give the appearance of a shaker card, but without the bulk of foam tape like a traditional shaker card.  I really love how it turned out!
Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Birthday Dots Card

Good Morning!  Today is my day to post on the SumMore Fun blog.  The card I am sharing with you uses the Victorine Originals Watercolor Snowman, Raisin Boat Flourishing Thoughts, and Raisin Boat Guilty Pleasures stamp sets.
I started by using the two circle stamps from the Watercolor Snowman set and randomly stamped them using Distress Oxides in Worn Lipstick, Broken China, Dusty Concord, and Squeezed Lemonade.  I spritzed water on it to create the oxidized look.  I matted that with a scalloped rectangle die in black cardstock.  The sentiment was stamped from Flourishing Thoughts in black ink.  I embellished with Twisted Blue Berry Trendy Twine.
For the inside of the card, I stamped one more circle from the Watercolor Snowman set, and the sentiment and images from the Guilty Pleasures stamp set.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Ice Skating Card

Good Morning!  Today is my day to post on the SumMore Fun blog.  The card I am sharing with you uses the Raisin Boat Winter Heart and Sole stamp set.
I created the winter woods scene using the pine tree from the Winter Heart and Sole stamp set and Distress Oxides in Pine Needles and Walnut Stain.  I stamped a tree, then did a second and even third generation stamping without re-inking.  I liked the feeling of depth that created.  Then I used an aqua brush and Pumice Stone Distress Oxide and made the ground around the trees.  The icy water was created by watering down Sapphire Swift Sparkling Unicorn Spit and painting it on the cardstock.  It is so shimmery in real life!  I then stamped the ice skates from Winter Heart and Sole in black and matted it with die cut circles.  I watercolored them with Pumice Stone Distress Oxide and undiluted Sapphire Swift Sparkling Unicorn Spit.  I added some In The Navy Trendy Twine and the sentiment stamp and the card was complete!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

New Glasses Ornament Card

Good morning to all my crafty friends!  Today is my day to post on the SVG Attic blog.  I chose to make a card that has a detachable ornament for my sweet 3 year old niece who just got her first pair of glasses!  The file I used is the Sun Glasses Flowers Ornament.
I chose papers from DCWV's Glitzy Glitter and Girlhood stacks to make it bright and cheerful.  I sized the ornament to 4.125" wide so it would fit well on the front of my A2 card base.  I added a line of removable Glue Dots to the back so the ornament can be taken off the card and hung up or just simply played with :)
The other products I used on this card include polka dot brads, ATG, Tacky Glue, Raspberry Cupcake Trendy Twine and a Pearl Pink Pearl Pen.  The finishing touch was stamping the date she got her glasses on the ornament.  I really hope she likes this card :)
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Bakers Twine ~ Tin Tie Valentine Bag

Hello all!  Today I am posting for the Trendy Twine blog with this Valentine's treat bag.  This month's featured twine is Totally White Trendy Twine.  It is a wonderful twist to have on hand because not only does it match any project you may have, it can also be colored with Copic markers to make custom colors of twine.
I started with a  Kraft Tin Tie bag and adhered two strips of patterned papers that I wrapped Totally White Trendy Twine around and tied it in a bow.
Then I stamped a sentiment and heart from the You & Me planner stamp set in the bottom right corner.  This kraft bag took the ink from the stamps wonderfully!  Now it is complete to add treats to and give for Valentine's Day.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Unassembled Snowman Card

Good Morning!  Today is my day to post on the SumMore Fun blog.  The card I am sharing with you uses the Victorine Originals Watercolor Snowman stamp set.
I created the background with light blue cardstock and cut "snowbanks" from the DCWV 6x6 Paper Lace stack.  Then I got to stamping!  I added the snowman arms and hat onto the background paper.  For the snowman circles, I die cut three sizes and stamped the face on the smallest and scarf on the medium one.  Inks used include Distress Oxides in Vintage Photo and Dusty Concord, Versafine Onyx Black and an orange marker.  The snowballs were popped up with foam tape for dimension.  Last, I added the sentiment on a white banner and added three glitter enamel dots.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
