Rose Valentine's Day Cards

Hello all! This is my second batch of Valentine's Day card that I will send out soon.
The patterned papers are from The Paper Studio's U+Me paper pad. The sentiment stamp was from the Hero Arts V-day mini messages and was stamped in VersaFine Onyx Black. That stamp set was a gift from the amazingly talented Ilda Dias. You can check out her blog HERE.
Now let's get down to the REAL reason for this post...THAT ROSE!! I can't believe how real looking the layered stamps from Crafty Meraki Rose Garden turned out! For the flower, I used Scrapbook.com Rose inks #1-4. For the leaf, I used Scrapbook.com inks in Pear, Olive, and Pine. Some of the layers I did stamp twice for better coverage, so using a stamp platform of some kind is a must with these type of stamps. Seeing each layer add more and more dimension was amazing! I didn't want to waste any part of what I stamped, so I used my precision scissors to cut along the outer edge of the leaf, placed the top of the scalloped heart die under the leaf and proceeded to center the rose within the middle fo the die and die cut it with my Spellbinders Platinum 6 machine. That was adhered with foam tape to the card. I didn't add any additional embellishments because I feel that rose speaks volumes and didn't want to take any attention away from it.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Final UFO (UFO Post #12)

Hello all! This is the very last of the STACK of unfinished projects I had on my craft table. The tag, black die cut circle, and background paper were random pieces I wanted to tie together to use up!
The patterned papers were random ones I had received in a paper swap years ago, as was the tag. I die cut the flower and sentiment strip, adding a sentiment from Raisin Boat's No Loss For Words stamp set. Two button brads and a double bow of Bubblegum Taffy Trendy Twine were the final embellishments. And just like that, I have a much cleaner creating space! It took me a while to work through all of the random pieces, but in all, I was able to create 132 cards in all with those elements! If you are interested in seeing the other cards I created in this series, you can find them HERE.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Distress Ink Confirmation Card

Hello all! Today I am sharing a Confirmation card that I created with Distress Inks on the focal panel.
I used Distress Inks in Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, and Fired Brick and inked a large acrylic block, spritzed it with water, then pressed it onto watercolor paper, adding somthing to weigh the block down and left it for 5 minutes. Once I removed the acrylic block, I dried the paper with my heat gun and went to work creating the rest of the card! The background paper was from DCWV's Gold Foil 6x6 paper stack. The cross was die cut from white glitter paper from DCWV's Whites 6x6 paper stack. That die cut was the GMD scroll cross die. I embellished with GMD gold foil enamel dots and used foam tape to pop up a sentiment that was stamped from Raisin Boat's Handle With Prayer set using VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink and clear embossing powder.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Retro Valentine's Treats

Hello all! I am on the Trendy Twine blog today with a Valentine's Day treat idea. Medium Candy Bags are the perfect way to package little treats to gift, so that is what I used for today's project. They fit 6 Hershey's hearts perfectly!
As I previously mentioned, I added the chocolates to Medium Candy Bags and dressed them up with a tag. The tag was created with the following products: Posy Large Tag-ItsAPB You & Me stamp set with Color Box Chalk warm red ink, a Candy Cane Trendy Page Dot, patterned paper from Crate Paper's Oh Darling 6x6 paper pad, thin washi tape, Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine, a Round Little Baseball Player Retro Tag, and a Round Little Party Dress Retro Tag. Adhesives used on the tag were Bearly Art precision glue and foam tape.
Once the tags were completed, I used two strands of Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine to wrap around the Medium Candy Bags and through the hole in the tag to tie a bow. Don't those retro tag images just make you smile?!

100th Birthday Card 5x7

This card is bigger than the A2 that I usually make. It is 5x7" for a couple reasons! The lady I made it for just turned 100 and that is an accomplishment that deserves a big card! The other reason is that she has poor eyesight, so I wanted all the elements on it to be visible for her...and I think I achieved that!
Supplies used were Cosmo Cricket Circa 1934 paper pad, solid cream and black cardstock, GMD crochet lace oval die, Sizzix Icelandic Poppy die, GMD rainbow foil enamel dotsATG, and Bearly Art precision glue.  The 100 was cut out with my Silhouette Cameo. I also added ink to distress the edges of the green papers and the doily die cut.

Dollar Tree Sticker Valentine's Day Cards

I created this group of Valentine's Day cards with the specific purpose to use baeutiful heart stickers that I found at Dollar Tree. I used up the whole sheet which was my goal!
The patterned paper was from The Paper Studio's U+Me paper pad. The ovals were die cut using Cottage Cutz nested stitched scallop oval and stitched oval dies. The stamped sentiment was from Oak Tree Stamps Believe set and the ink used was VersaFine Clair Nocturne
The only embellishment used was white seam binding ribbon. The stickers were layered and had foam tape between the layers. I removed the back layer of foam tape so it would go through the mail a little easier. I used a Glue Dot to stick the heart onto the oval. Other adhesives used include ATGBearly Art precision glue.

Lego Minion Birthday Card

This card was another one that was created long ago, but never got shared. Patterned papers were from EK Success's 6x6" Minions paper pad. The Legos were created with coordinating colors and stamped with circles to mimic the bumps on Lego as well as inked around the sides of the paper pieces. Those inks were Scrapbook.com Pear, Orange Spice, and Deep Sea.
I wrapped Totally Pumpkin and Tickled with Teal Trendy Twines around the front panel, then added the 10, which was cut with my Silhouette Cameo, with foam tapeATG was the other adhesive used on this card. Here is a look at the inside of the card...

Trendy Bakers Twine~I {heart} U Card

Hello all! Valentine's Day is next month, so I am gearing up for that holiday. Today's project for the Trendy Twine blog is a card that features Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine, a unique twist of red and pink.
The patterned papers I used are from BoBunny's Love Letters 6x6 paper pad. It has an antique feel to it with creams instead of white. The sentiments are from APB You & Me stamp set. The inks I used were VersaFine Onyx Black and VersaFine Clair Tulip Red. The dies that I used were Elizabeth Craft Designs diagonal stitched fishtails die, and Cottage Cutz stitched circle dies. The fun part of this card was using Bearly Art precision glue and Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine to create the X and O on the banner and the circle and bow around the sentiment. The last addition to the card was a trio of Peppermint Stick Sequins for a bit of bling.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Bakers Twine~Thanks Snow Much Cards

Hello all, I am on the Trendy Twine blog today sharing a set of thank you cards perfect for sending out for those holiday gifts you received. The focal point of these cards are the adorable Round Holiday Snowman Tags which are great for all winter projects.
The layout sketch of these cards is the December 2023 SheetLoad of Cards sketch. patterned papers are from Bo Bunny's Candy Cane Lane 6x6 paper pad. I loved the soft color palette on those papers!
I did trim the Round Holiday Snowman Tags down a bit with a Cottage Cutz stitched circle die just to make them fit within the GMD Doily die better. I laced Raspberry Cupcake Trendy Twine through the doily on the first one and tied it into a bow at the bottom of the circle.
For the second card, I laced Twisted Lime Trendy Twine around the doily die. I adhered a sentiment stamped in gray ink from the APB Let It Snow stamp set under the doily. A trio of small gems were the finishing touch.
I also made a few more cards in the same style, same supplies, but without the Trendy Twine on these. Two of the snowman tags were more Christmas-y so I did add a Christmas sentiment to those and they will go into my stash for 2024 Christmas cards! It is never too early to start on those.
Here is a full look at the second set of cards.

Roblox American Plains Mudding Card

Hello all! I am trying to catch up on old projects that I never got around to blogging about. This was a birthday card I made for one of my nephews. He created a game called American Plains Mudding on the online gaming platform, Roblox. If you have kids or grandkids that play Roblox, have them check out this game!
The card is pretty simple. I used a camoflage patterned paper and stamped tires from Raisin Boat Highway High with Versafine Clair Nocturne, and stars and stripes from Raisin Boat Strokes of Pride in Fired Brick Distress Oxide and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide. I cut out the Roblox logo with my Silhouette Cameo and popped it up with foam tape. The APM (stands for American Plains Mudding) tags at the bottom were stamped with Victorine Originals Tag Alphabet, cut out with my Brother Scan N Cut and added them to the card with brads.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
