So what do I have for you today?? A slimline shaker card!  I had a lot of fun creating it!  Items I used from the Ghost Pack include the striped cardstock and Raisin Boat Boo Hoo stamp set.
The image and sentiment were stamped with Scrapbook.com hybrid black ink.  I colored the image with Artify alcohol markers.  I prepared the striped cardstock by distressing it with Distress Oxide inks in the following colors: Faded Jeans, Spiced Marmalade, Peeled Paint, Fossilized Amber.  I just laid the ink on my glass mat, spritzed it with water then saturated a paint brush with it and splattered away!
After that was dry, I cut a hole in the center to frame the stamped image.  I adhered acetate and foam tape around the rectangle then added polymer clay slices, sequins, and candy pieces that were stamped from the Boo Hoo stamp set, colored, and cut with my Brother Scan N Cut.  Once the shaker was assembled, I embellished the front with Gray Licorice Trendy Twine, the sentiment. and more stamped candies!

Keep in mind that quantities are limited for the Ghost Pack!  Once they are gone, you will not be able to get any of the cute extras included with the stamp sets.  Remember the Chicken Pack that we released in July?  That sold out over one weekend, so don't wait to grab this set!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Football Birthday Card + Sneak Peek!

Good morning! I am on the SumMore Fun blog today with this football birthday card for a nephew who is a Vikings fan.  It features two Raisin Boat stamp sets called First Down and No Loss For Words.

I started by stamping the four images from First Down onto white cardstock in black ink, then coloring them with Artify alcohol markers.  I then die cut around them with GMD square dies and matted those with black cardstock.  The background of the card is paper from TPS Boys Will Be Boys paper pad.  The square images were adhered to the background, two with ATG and two with foam tape.  I added a sentiment banner using black in with a stamp from the No Loss For Words set. That stamp set really is a must have!  It has sentiments for every occasion on it.  The finishing touch was a trio of GMD purple enamel dots in the top right corner.

Guess what?  We have a new release coming this Friday!  I am super excited about it because it is very unique and will get me motivated for Halloween projects.  It is called the Ghost Pack and will be live on August 28th with limited quantities, so set a reminder to check back here on the blog that day for more info on it!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Grow Layout

Hello all! Today I am sharing a scrapbook layout for the Trendy Twine blog. It features one of our twists of the month, Lemon Peppermint Trendy Twine.
I knew I wanted to scrapbook this photo as soon as I saw it!  My brother took my daughter's 2 year photos and I immediately fell in love with this one.  The papers I used are from DCWV's Watercolor Garden stack.  I cut out a black cardstock mat for the photo using my Silhouette Cameo.  I laced Lemon Peppermint Trendy Twine through the holes in the black photo mat.  I also wanted to tie in some green, so I glued Twisted Lime Trendy Twine around the photo itself.  In the bottom right corner, I used a Leaf Green Tag-It and stamped sentiments from the APB Documenting the Everyday stamp set onto it.  I finished off the tag with a Cherry Latte Trendy Page Dot and more Lemon Peppermint Trendy Twine.
After having the photo how I wanted it, I needed to decide on a title.  The paper stack had decorative word panels in it and I thought the word "grow" was very fitting!  As a final embellishment, I glued Pink Diamonds Sparkling Gems near the photo for a little sparkle.
Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Bubbly Birthday Card

Good morning crafty friends! I am posting on the SumMore Fun blog today with this fun birthday card.  How many of you like to use die cuts for the focal point on your creations?  Don't worry! SumMore Fun has your sentiment stamps covered too!  The one I used is from the SMF Soda-Lighted stamp set.
I created the shaped card around the soda bottle die cut from Doodlebug Design using my Silhouette Cameo. Berry Trendy Twine was a great match for the bottle, so I wrapped that around the card base and tied it in a bow.  Finally, I stamped the sentiment from SMF Soda-Lighted using Scrapbook.com Leather ink.  A fun yet simple card complete!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Celebrate Grad Cards

Yesterday my boys went back TO school, so it seems odd to be sharing graduation cards, but in reality area schools just had their graduations this month.  This COVID business is getting old, isn't it. Anyway, here are the cards graduates received from us this year!
The patterned papers are from DCWV's Jet Black stack.  I used solid color cardstock in school colors for the hat and matting.  The square die for the hat is from Cottage Cutz, while the sentiment die is from Sizzix.  I made a tassel from Totally White Trendy Twine and attached it to the hat with a brad.  Adhesives used were ATG and tacky glue.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Back To School Card

Hello all!  Today I am sharing a back to school card for the Trendy Twine blog.  It features one of our twists of the month, Lemon Peppermint Trendy Twine.
To create the card, I used several prints from the Doodlebug Design 6x6" School Days paper pad.  I used an edge die for the blue layer and wrapped the Lemon Peppermint Trendy Twine around it and added a bow. On the lined paper, I pierced holes into it and threaded Lemon Peppermint Trendy Twine through the holes to read "A+".  I stamped a sentiment from the Choose Happy stamps in red ink at the top of the page and added the date my kids are going back to school.  I cut the chalkboard with my Silhouette Cameo and popped it up with foam tape.  The finishing touch was a trio of GMD Peacock clear enamel dots.
Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

80th Birthday Farm Card

Good morning crafty friends!  I am posting on the SumMore Fun blog today.  One of my favorite stamp sets is the Raisin Boat Homegrown set.  I have used it so many times but never run out of ideas for it.  This time I made a card for an uncle who was celebrating his 80th birthday!
I stamped the barn and grass onto white cardstock first using black ink, then masked the barn and stamped the field of crops in Olive ink.  The tractor was stamped on a different piece of cardstock and cut out with my Brother Scan N Cut.  The barn and tractor were colored with Artify Markers.  I used blending brushes to create the clouds and shade the grass area with Scrapbook.com inks in Sky Blue and Olive.  The tractor was popped up with foam tape.  I cut the 80 out with my Cameo three times and glued them together for extra dimension.  The finishing touch was three enamel dots in the top right corner.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Chicken BAWK! Card

Hello all!  I am back again with another post for SumMore Fun today.  I will be posting on Wednesdays for now.  Today I am sharing the last of my chicken cards that I created using the new chicken stamps from SumMore Fun.  I really love them!  This card features the Raisin Boat Chicken Soup stamp set, but don't forget we also have the Raisin Boat Chicken Coop stamp set available too!
I started by using the chicken wire stamp from the Chicken Soup set and stamping it randomly in the following colors of Scrapbook.com ink: Charcoal, Cinnamon, Sugar Cookie, and Olive.  I stamped the sentiment onto the background with VersaFine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed with clear powder.  For the focal point, I stamped the chicken from the Chicken Soup set with SB.com black hybrid ink and colored it with Artify alcohol markers.  Both the background and chicken panel were die cut with GMD wonky stitched rectangle dies.  The chicken panel was popped up with foam tape.  I accented the card with red and black carstock layers then embellished with Red and Black Pearl Pen dots.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Sesame Street Card

Hello all!  Today I am sharing a card for the Trendy Twine blog that my son, Levi, created for his little sister for her birthday!  He used one of our featured colors of Trendy Twine of the month, Lemon Peppermint.
Since Autumn was having an Elmo birthday theme, Levi wanted to use Sesame Street patterned paper, which was super cute!  He created the vinyl words in SCAL4 and used a textured black vinyl to add a little visual interest.  The tag was a Cranberry Tag-It that we trimmed short and was stamped on with a sentiment from the APB Smile stamp set.  To finish off the tag, he added a Lemon Midnight Trendy Page Dot and a tie of Lemon Peppermint Trendy Twine.  The card was a hit!  Autumn loved it!

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Chicken Soup Card

Hello all!  Today I am posting for SumMore Fun.  It will be my last Sunday for a while and I will transition back to my previous Wednesday SMF postings.  Today I am sharing a card that features stamps from the new Raisin Boat Chicken Soup stamp set.
I stamped the chicken in a pot stamp onto white cardstock and cut it out with my Brother Scan N Cut.  I then colored the image with my Artify Alcohol markers and am really happy with how it turned out!  I popped the image up with foam tape onto two die cut scalloped circles.  The gingham and silverware layers are from DCWV's Nana's Kitchen stack and  were die cut with a border die.  I stamped a sentiment from the Chicken Soup set in black onto the patterned paper and added embellishments of jute ribbon, Silver Pearl Pen and Blue Pearl Pen.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
