Moose 80th Birthday Card

Good Morning!  Today is my day to post on the SumMore Fun blog.  The 5x7" card I am sharing with you uses Victorine Originals' Moose stamp, Grove of Trees stamp and All Occasion stamp set.
I created the focal point panel by stamping the Grove of Trees stamp on the left in green and the Moose stamp in brown and colored that in with colored pencils.  I stamped a second Grove of Trees stamp on scrap paper and cut it out with by Brother Scan N Cut 2 to place over the back part of the moose.  That panel was cut out with a GMD wonky stitched rectangle die, then inked around with Walnut Stain Distress Oxide ink.  I die cut and layered 3 of the black 80's and added the sentiment from the All Occasion stamp set coming from behind the 0.
Patterned papers are from TPS Lewis Family Vacation paper pad.  I die cut the right side with a GMD Pine Bough Border die.  Adhesives used include ATGLineco Adhesive, and foam tape.  I embellished with jute ribbon and metal circles.
Remember, we have this Mood Board Challenge going on right now! Here is the inspiration photo for it. You can use the pictures, theme, and/or colors to enter.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Bakers Twine ~ Bacon and Eggs Card

Hello all and happy Tuesday!   I am back with another project for the Trendy Twine blog today.  This one features the APB We Go Together stamp set and APB Perfect Pairs stamp set.  I just love how sweet those stamp sets are!
I stamped the words from the APB We Go Together stamp set onto a Lemon Tag-It.  I stamped the bacon and egg from the APB Perfect Pairs stamp set on scrap paper, watercolored them, and cut them out with my Brother Scan N Cut along with a black shadow cut.  With the addition of a Pink Midnight Trendy Page Dot on top and a Black Licorice Tag-It under the Lemon one, my tag was ready for a card base.
The card front was created with watercolor paper and Distress Oxide inks in Black Soot, Fossilized Amber, and Candied Apple.  Once it was dry, I die cut it with a GMD wonky stitched rectangle die, wrapped Celebration Trendy Twine around it and adhered it to the card base.  I added the tags, a bow of Totally Red Trendy Twine and some Frosted Cranberry Sequins and enamel dots to embellish.

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Bakers Twine~Happy Memorial Day

Today is Memorial Day, a day to remember and be thankful for all the service men and women who have sacrificed everything to keep our country free!  Here is a patriotic project that I have up on the Trendy Twine blog today just for the occasion.
I started with a Kraft Treat Packet and stamped a star and stripes on it from Raisin Boat's Strokes of Pride stamp set.  The white stripes were stamped with VersaMark and embossed with white embossing powder.  The red stripes were stamped with Candied Apple Distress Oxide and the star with Faded Jeans DO.  Those inks show up great on kraft cardstock!
I tied Totally White Trendy Twine around the flap, added some buttons and finished it off with a small bow of the Totally White Trendy Twine.  I filled the treat bag with red M&M's...yummy!

Here are the products I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

SumMore Fun Mood Board #29

Happy Friday! Today is the start of a new challenge at the SumMore Fun blog with a new mood board (you can see it at the bottom of this post). Here is what I created for inspiration!
This card was quite simple to make using patterned paper and Raisin Boat's Strokes of Pride stamp set.  I stamped the brush stroke stamp with Distress Oxides in Peeled Paint, Fired Brick, Faded Jeans, and Walnut Stain along the right side of the patterned paper.  The sentiment is also from that stamp set.  I die cut the front panel with a GMD wonky stitched rectangle, added eyelets to the bottom, then adhered it to the card using foam tape.
Here is a look at the current mood board:
You can enter using the theme, pictures, or colors. Lots of choices! Head on over to the SumMore Fun blog and check out their challenge post. You have two weeks to enter your project/s. We can't wait to see your take on the current Mood Board.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Wishes Cake Card

Birthday cards are always something I am in need of!  I made multiples of this one since it was so cute and simple.  The SVG file is My Scrap Chick's Wishes Candle Card.
I stamped the sentiment from Pink and Main's Wishes stamp set with Versamark ink and embossed it with white powder.  The papers are from The Paper Studio's Birthday Extravaganza pad.  Adhesives used were ATG, and Lineco Adhesive.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Three Father's Day Cards

Happy Monday morning! I am on the SVG Attic blog today with these three Father's Day cards.  They are all very different, but all the files come from the SVG Attic Cards For Dad set.
Card #1 will be for my boys to give to my husband.  I thought it was a really fun style!  Products used include:  DCWV Copper Luxe stack, plain cardstock, Totally Pumpkin and Totally Black Trendy Twines and silver brads.
Here is a close up.
Card #2 will be going to my dad, a farmer!  I decided the card style was perfect to make an eclipse card, so I stamped several images from Raisin Boat's Homegrown stamp set onto my paper and watercolored it with Distress Inks in Walnut Stain, Fired Brick, Salty Ocean, Old Paper, Moved Lawn, Mustard Seed, and Weathered Wood.  Once it was totally dry, it was time to cut the card front!
I didn't use the original shadow cut layer under the "dad" word.  Instead I cut apart the card base and used the front part as the shadow.
Here is the finished product!  I went around the "dad" cuts with tan chalk ink to help them stand out a little more and popped them up with foam tape.  I really LOVE how this one turned out!
Last, but not least, card #3 is for my father-in-law.  This one was pretty straight forward.  I used papers from DCWV's Treasures stack and popped the "DAD" up with foam tape.  The solid colored words are actually cut from scraps of vinyl.  It was so simple to use that because you automatically have the right letter spacing and adhesive on it, so it is ready to add to the card immediately.  The only embellishment was silver brads.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Twine & Pink Diamonds

Hello all!  Today the Trendy Twine DT is showcasing projects that use one of the newest products in the Annie's Paper Boutique store...Pink Diamonds!  They are absolutely gorgeous!  Here is the layout I created using several of them as embellishments.  To find my DT sisters' projects, head on over to the Trendy Twine blog.
I wanted to find the perfect papers to used with the Pink Diamonds, and I found that with DCWV's Fairytale Dreams stack.  I added the title to the center of the page and embellished on either side with the Pink Diamonds.  They were adhered with Lineco adhesive and a precision tipped bottle.  I added a grouping of other embellishments including die cut hearts, flowers, Cotton Candy Sequins and Cotton Candy Trendy Twine.
You can see the gorgeous shine of the Pink Diamonds a little better in this picture.
In the top right corner of the layout, I added a Kraft Large Tag-It, on which I used a Pink Midnight Trendy Page Dot, a sentiment stamp from APB Documenting the Everyday set, Cotton Candy Sequins, and Cotton Candy Trendy Twine.  I also used Cotton Candy Trendy Twine on the photo mats.

Here is a close up of what the Pink Diamonds look like.  Look at that iridescent shine!  They are absolutely gorgeous.
And guess what?  You have two chances to win some of these beauties!  To qualify, comment on this blog post, the Trendy Twine blog, and also on my two DT sisters' blogs.  You have until this Wednesday at 10 pm central time to comment.  There will be another giveaway on the Trendy Twine Facebook Page, so head over there for details on how to enter.

Congrats Graduation Cards

Good morning!  We were invited to 6 graduations this year, so I needed to get going with cards!  This style was my go-to for this year.
They are fun and bright but since the papers are from DCWV's DIY Project Stack:  Chalk Party, it has a educational theme to it.  The stamps I used are from Pink and Main's Congrats set.  I didn't have the matching die, so I used my Brother Scan N Cut to cut around the Congrats and make a shadow for it as well.  The four solid squares and the Congrats are popped up with foam tape.
I also used a pink card base on a couple to make them more feminine.  Additional products I used include GMD Wonky Stitched Rectangle die, sequins, and Lineco adhesive.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Tractor in Field Birthday Cards

Good Morning!  Today is my day to post on the SumMore Fun blog. The card I am sharing with you uses Raisin Boat's Homegrown stamp set.  I thought these would be great to send to family for their birthdays!
First, I created a panel with Broken China Distress Oxide ink and Walnut Stain Distress Oxide ink.  I then used Lucky Clover DO ink to stamp the corn stalks with my stamp platform.  The front row of stalks were stamped first, then I did second generation stamping for the back row of corn stalks.  The sentiment is from Raisin Boat's Happy Camper stamp set.  I then stamped the tractor from the Homegrown stamp set, colored it with colored pencils, and cut it out with my Brother Scan N Cut 2.
To assemble, I used the following adhesives:  ATGLineco Adhesive, and foam tape.  I embellished the cards with ribbon and black Nuvo Crystal Drops.
Remember, we have this Mood Board Challenge going on right now! Here is the inspiration photo for it. You can use the pictures, theme, and/or colors to enter.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Bakers Twine ~ Mouse Celebration Treats

Hello all and happy Monday!   I am sharing these sweet mouse themed treats on the Trendy Twine blog today.
I started with Small Pillow Boxes and filled them with a variety of candy.  Next, I wrapped Celebration Trendy Twine around the center of the pillow box several times.
I added the sentiment banners that use stamps from the APB Choose Happy Stamp Set and the Mickey and Minnie Mouse heads that I cut with my Silhouette Cameo.  The finishing touches were bows of Celebration Trendy Twine on the mouse heads and Frosted Cranberry Sequins.

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:
