A Bunch of Girl Cards

Good morning!  Yesterday I shared a group of boy birthday cards I created from the 6x6 Echo Park All Boy paper pad.  Today I am sharing the group of girl cards I created with the 6x6 Echo Park All Girl paper pad!
The first style of card is made using the SheetLoad of Cards May 2020 sketch.  Embellishments include a button die cut, Totally White Trendy Twine and sequins.  The setiment was created on my computer and printed off.
The second style of card was made with the SheetLoad of Cards August 2019 sketch.  The stamp is from APB Smile set and stamped with black ink.  I added a die cut flower and a single pink brad to embellish.
The next cards were made using the SheetLoad of Cards April 2020 sketch.  Embellishments include enamel dots.  The setiment was created on my computer and printed off then die cut with Pink Fresh Studio fancy label frames dies.
Here is the unicorn version of the same sketch.
To be honest, I wasn't 100% LOVING the girl cards, partly because I was having troubles matching solid color cardstocks with the prints.  I stopped after 8 cards even though the boy set I made was 10 cards.  Which one do you prefer?  The boy set or the girl set?  You can see all the details on the boy cards HERE if you missed that post.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

A Bunch of Boy Cards

Hello all!  Today I am sharing a group of boy birthday cards that I created earlier this year.  All the patterned papers are from the 6x6 Echo Park All Boy paper pad.

The first style of card is made using the SheetLoad of Cards May 2020 sketch.  Embellishments include In The Navy Trendy Twine and GMD enamel dots.  The setiment was created on my computer and printed off.
The second style of card was made with the SheetLoad of Cards August 2019 sketch.  The stamp is from APB Smile set and stamped with SB.com Midnight Blue ink.  The only embellishments were a pair of colored staples by the sentiment.
The next cards were made using the SheetLoad of Cards April 2020 sketch.  Embellishments include enamel dots.  The setiment was created on my computer and printed off.

The dinosaur card was made in the same manner as the shark card.
The last style of card was just to use leftovers of the first sports card. Embellishments include GMD enamel dots.  The setiment was created on my computer and printed off.
I really loved how this collection of cards turned out!  I decided to make a set of girl cards with the same sketches and will be sharing those later this week.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Bakers Twine~SheetLoad of Halloween Cards

Hello and happy Wednesday!  I am back with a SheetLoad of Halloween cards for the Trendy Twine blog.  I always send out Halloween cards to family, so this was the perfect way to get those made in assembly line fashion!

The June 2019 SheetLoad of Cards sketch was a perfect one to use because the sentiment strips were perfect for the Happy Halloween stamp set!  That made my decision to make these cards very easy because I love the sentiments in that set!  I used patterned papers (and stickers) from DCWV's Spooky Halloween stack to create the cards.  Do you send out Halloween cards?
The sentiment strips were varying lengths to accomodate several stamps from the Happy Halloween stamp set.  It was fun matching the stickers to the words!  Above and below the sentiment I wrapped Spooktacular Taffy Trendy Twine three times to add a border and really make that strip pop.
To add a little sparkle, I glued sequins from the new Hocus Pocus Shaker Medley onto all of the cards.  The layers were all adhered with ATG with the exception of the character print paper panel, which was popped up with foam tape.  Now the cards are ready to send out to my family!  Do you send out Halloween cards?

SheetLoad of Feminine Birthday Cards

Hello all!  Today I am sharing yet another SheetLoad of Cards made with papers from the Echo Park's Just Be You kit.  So far, I have made 27 cards from that kit, which I am super happy with!  If you want to see the other posts with these papers, click HERE and HERE.
The SheetLoad sketch that I followed was from June 2020.  The stamp is retired from My Craft Spot's Chalkboard Sentiments and I inked it with Scrapbook.com's Midnight Blue hybrid ink.  I colored bits of the sentiment with Artify markers and also punched three holes in the top of the sentiment strip before matting it with the navy cardstock for a little extra visual interest.  To embellish, I added a trio of adhesive gems to the bottom right corner.  Adhesives used were ATG and Bearly Art precision glue.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

SheetLoad of Thank You, Baby, & Misc. Cards

Hello all and happy Friday!  Today I am sharing a grouping of cards that I created with prompting from Call Me Crafty Al.  She gave a challenge to use a scrapbooking kit you previously purchased and create with it!  Well, create I did, and I also used her January 2020 SheetLoad of Cards sketch to use multiple sheets of the 12x12" papers from the kit.  The kit I used was Echo Park's Just Be You kit.
This is the first set of cards I made using the sketch...thank you cards!  You can see they differ a bit from each other, but are basically the same. Products used on these include: wavy edge die, GMD Slash Stitched Round Square die, Corner Chomper, enamel dots, Unity I Consider You Special stamp, SB.com Midnight Blue ink, stickers from the kit, ATG, Bearly Art glue and foam tape.  There were 6 cards made in this way.
I made 3 baby girl cards next using the following supplies: wavy edge die, Cloud 9 Design Simple Thoughts-Baby stamp, SB.com Midnight Blue ink, Pink Fresh Studio fancy label frame die, corner chomper, stickers from the kit, ribbon, ATG, Bearly Art glue and foam tape.
These final 3 cards didn't follow the sketch exactly, but the patterned papers were still cut the same way.  Supplies for these include: GMD Fishtail Banner die, GMD banner border die, Annie's Paper Boutique Choose Happy stampSB.com Midnight Blue ink stickers from the kit, ATG, foam tape, and Bearly Art glue.
As a bonus card, I saw this 4x6 panel in the paper kit and knew I had to make it into a card for my niece!  I simply cut around the panel with a GMD wonky stitched rectangle die, matted it with cadstock and added a piece of patterned cardstock behind it.  The two cacti in the front were stickers from the kit that I popped up with foam tape.  I kept the card simple, only adding an enamel dot in the top right corner.
There you have it!  A total of 13 cards made with the Echo Park Just Be You kit!  I'll let you in on a secret, while I had the papers out, there were two more papers that were really calling my name, so I had to make those into a sheetload of cards as well, so you will be seeing more cards from this kit very soon!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Halloween Treats & Tags

Hello all and welcome to Halloween month!  I am on the Trendy Twine blog today with these fun treats with tags.  They showcase our featured products of the month, Spooktacular Taffy Trendy Twine and Medium Candy Bags.I started by wrapping Hershey's Nuggets with paper from DCWV's Eek-a-Boo 6x6 stack.  Seven of the nuggets fit perfectly in the Medium Candy Bags, and really, chocolate is the perfect treat for any occasion!  Did you notice the small sentiments on the orange paper?  I used all the sentiments from the Happy Halloween stamp set that were less than an inch to stamp fun sayings onto those papers before wrapping the Nuggets.  Don't you just love all the fun fonts in that stamp set?
Here is a close up look of the tag.  I used Mango Large Tag-Its and added strips of patterned paper that I had torn the edges of onto the bottom.  From there, I took four of the long sentiments from the Happy Halloween stamp set and stamped those in black on the tags.  I added a glittery pumpkin sticker and several NEW Enchanting Sequins to embellish.  At the top, I placed a Black Licorice Trendy Page Dot, then wrapped four lengths of Spooktacular Taffy Trendy Twine around the Medium Candy Bag, bringing it through the hole in the tag and tying a knot.  I did use a standard size hole punch to make the hole in the tag larger to accomodate that much twine.  I left the ends of the Spooktacular Taffy Trendy Twine stick out resembling eight colorful legs of a spider.
Here is a look at ALL the treats and tags!  As you can see, the Happy Halloween stamp set really got a work out.  I used 8 of the stamps in that set and that was only HALF of them!  If you haven't seen what sentiments are in that set, do yourself a favor and check it out.  Now these treats are ready for my kiddos on Halloween!

Annie's Paper Boutique-Wicked Sequin Release

Today is a very exciting day at Annie's Paper Boutique as we release a "Wicked" collection of sequin mixes!  Halloween is such a fun time to create for and with our 4 brand new mixes of sequins, you'll be sure to find just the right one for your projects.  I know you are excited to see what the Design Team has created, but let's take a peek at the new sequins!

For my project, I made a shaped shaker card with my Cameo!  I started with a Hearthsewn file (#50070) from the Silhouette Design Store and edited it to create a shaker out of the hat.  Of course, I used lots of beautiful NEW Bewitching sequins to make this fun interactive card!
Cardstock used include Recollections Haunted Manor, DCWV Glitzy Glitter, and solid cardstocks.  Check out the spider's web trail...it was created with Lime Grapesicle Trendy Twine, attached with Bearly Art precision glue.  Of course, the twine matches the Bewitching sequins perfectly!  To embellish, I glued a thin ribbon to the hat band and also glued Bewitching sequins randomly onto the card.  I am loving the sparkle and shine of those sequins!  The final touch was adding the "Bewitching" sentiment, which was created with the Barghant font.
Be sure to stop by the Trendy Twine blog to see what other faBOOlous projects were made with these new sequins!

50th Anniversary Card

Hello all!  I have a quick post today to share my latest 50th anniversary card creation.  I needed something quick and this card was just that, but still elegant.
I used DCWV Mercury Glass cardstock for the background and die cut it with Die'sire Crafter's Companion Classic Floral Frame.  I glued that to the card base with Bearly Art precision glue.  The heart was die cut with a GMD Lacey Lattice Heart die out of paper from The Paper Studio's Blanc Boutique.  I added a sentiment sticker to it, popped the heart up with foam tape, and that was it!  I really wish you could see the shine this card has from that Mercury Glass paper.  So beautiful!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
