SheetLoad of Anniversary Blessings Cards

Hello all! I am back with another SheetLoad of cards. This time it is anniversary cards. They were created with the May 2024 SheetLoad of Cards sketch and papers from the DCWV Romantic Life stack.
I kept the cards pretty simple. The "anniversary" sentiment was from GMD Happy die coordinating word stamps and stamped in VersaFine Onyx Black. The word "blessings" was created in SCAL and cut out of adhesive vinyl with my Silhouette Cameo
Silver glitter cardstock was around the center focal point, which added sparkle and shine! Adhesives used include ATG, and Bearly Art precision glue.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Adhesives used include Bearly Art precision glueATG and foam tape. The finishing touch was a trio of Park Lane 3mm gold gems.

Trendy Bakers Twine~Valentine Treat Packet

Hello all! Today I am on the Trendy Twine blog with this sweet treat packet. It is perfect for Valentine's Day or any day to give to someone you love! The main star of this project is a Cranberry Treat Packet and it is embellished with Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine. That twist is the perfect twine for Valentine's Day since it has both red and pink!
As I mentioned, I started with a Cranberry Treat Packet and added strips of paper from Echo Park's Love Notes collection. The top flap was decorated with a die cut from GMD Big & Little Pierced Chain Heart die set. I stamped a sentiment on the heart using the APB You & Me stamp set and SB.com Candy Shop Pink ink. The Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine was woven through the big holes around the outside of the die, tied in a bow at the bottom of the heart, then adhered to the treat packet with foam tape. A trio of Raspberry Cupcake Sequins were the finishing touch! Other adhesives used include Bearly Art precision glue and mini Glue Dots. Of course, the best part about these treat packets is they come with little zip top bags that are food safe...to which I added Valentine Nerds Gummy Clusters candy. If you haven't tried this candy yet, do yourself a favor and do so. It is delicious and perfect for your valentine projects!

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

If you don't need a whole spool of Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine, consider the Cherry Cupcake Sampler that includes 10 yards each of Posy, Cherry Cupcake, and Berry Trendy Twines.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

My fifth and final project of the week is a 5x7 graduation card. My oldest son graduates in May, so I have been working ahead to make cards for all the graduations we will be invited to!
The focal point of this card is a stamp from the May 2023 KOM, Bloom in Color. I stamped it with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink, then heat embossed it with Wow! clear gloss embossing powder. I just love that shine! The layers of the focal point were die cut with Cottage Cutz Stitched Rounded Rectangle dies. It was popped up with foam tape onto the card.
The patterned papers are from Echo Park's Graduation 12x12 collection. The tassel was made with Midnight Trendy Twine and the final embellishment was a trio of GMD New Years sparkle enamel dots. Additional adhesives used on this card include Bearly Art precision glue and ATG.

GIU Gal Day#4

Hello all! Welcome to Day 4 of my Growing in Unity week. I am thrilled to be able to showcase Unity Stamp Co. products every day this week. Make sure you follow along and comment on my blog each day for a chance to win $20 Unity gift certificates sponsored by Unity Stamp Co!

Today is a hard day for me. It is my mom's birthday, but she passed away three months ago. With that being said, I chose to create a SheetLoad of Sympathy cards for today's project.
The focal point for these cards are stamps from Unity's I Consider You Special stamp set. It shows that it isn't available at Unity right now, which is a bummer because I use that set SO MUCH! I still linked it with an old blog post link in case they bring it back because it is a great one for sure. The sentiment was stamped with VersaFine Clair Morning Mist and the floral image was stamped with Scrapbook.com Soft Lavender. As I mentioned earlier, these cards are based on the April 2023 SheetLoad of Cards sketch. The patterned paper is from The Paper Studio's Katherine 6x6 pad. I loved the soft lavenders in it! I accidentally got a little chop happy with the first paper, so I ended up improvising and making 8 cards instead of the 6 I originally intended. More cards is never a bad thing, right?!
The background solid colors (sage green and navy) are from Scrapbook.com's Peppermint A2 cardstock pad. To be honest, I was looking for an excuse to use a chunk of that pad because it is the only A2 size one that I have and a little out of place in my cupboard. Those colors worked great for sympathy cards! The foliage die cut was from Sizzix Thinlits Wild Blooms #2 and Recollections silver cardstock. Adhesives used include Bearly Art precision glue and ATG. To embellish, I added a trio of small Park Lane silver gems
Make sure you leave a comment here before you go and come back tomorrow for another project!

Today my project is a bee themed thank you card.

The focal point of this card is an image from the May 2023 KOM, Bloom in Color. I stamped it with Scrapbook.com hybrid black ink, then colored it with Artify alcohol markers and die cut around it with a GMD wonky stitched rectangle die. The sentiment was also from the same stamp set. Patterned papers are from DCWV's Honey Dear paper pad. Adhesives used include Bearly Art precision glue and ATG. To embellish, I added a trio of GMD New Years sparkle enamel dots.

GIU Gal Day#1

Hello all! Welcome to Day 1 of my Growing in Unity week. I am thrilled to be able to showcase Unity Stamp Co. products every day this week. Make sure you follow along and comment on my blog each day for a chance to win $20 Unity gift certificates sponsored by Unity Stamp Co!

On to my first project...a set of TWELVE masculine birthday cards.
These were created using Jess Crafts' 12x12 Paper Busting Template #21 sketch.  I simply adjusted the orientation of the card for the two types of cards. This first one uses patterned paper from DCWV's Guy stack and Unity Say It Big dies and stamp set. The stamp was inked with Scrapbook.com Cinnamon ink. The die cut panel was popped up with foam tape. Other adhesives used include Bearly Art precision glue and ATG. GMD Peacock clear enamel dots were the perfect embellishment.
The second set of cards used the same patterned paper, but a different stamp set. This time I used Unity's I Consider You Special stamp set with Scrapbook.com Cinnamon ink and die cut around it with a GMD slash stitched rounded square die. I added two leaf die cuts from the Sizzix Wild Blooms #2 set. The green leaf was inked with SB.com Olive ink and popped up with foam tape. Other adhesives used include Bearly Art precision glue and ATG. GMD Rainbow foil enamel dots were the perfect finishing touch.
Make sure you leave a comment here before you go and come back tomorrow for another project!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Happy Christmas Card

Hello all! This month, I am gearing up for Christmas with my posts for the Trendy Twine blog. It is such a fun time of the year to get creative! Today, I am sharing a Christmas card that features Cherry Limeade Trendy Twine.
The patterned papers from DCWV's Hand-Painted Christmas stack have a great retro vibe and matched the colors in Cherry Limeade Trendy Twine perfectly, so those are what I used for the background as well as the fussy cut tree on front. I lined the green paper strip with Cherry Limeade Trendy Twine, adhering it with Bearly Art precision tip glue. the focal point was created with a Kraft Bracket Card with a Cranberry Bracket Card adhered behind it like a shadow. I distressed the outer edge of the Kraft Bracket Card with SB.com Camel ink. Once I glued the tree on the front, I added whimiscal bits of Cherry Limeade Trendy Twine to imitate garland. Bearly Art glue was perfect for that as well. The focal panel was adhered to the card with foam tape. For the sentiment, I used a stamp from the Merry & Bright stamp set in Leather ink, colored the outer edge with extra fine tip Sharpie markers, then also adhered it with foam tape and glue. For a bit of sparkle, I glued a trio of Delightful sequins to the front as well.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

If you don't need a whole spool of Cherry Limeade, consider the Cherry Limeade Trendy Twine Sampler! It includes 10 yards of each of the three Trendy Twines you see below.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Christmas Ornament Card

Hello all! I am on the Trendy Twine blog today with a new card. We are having a Christmas in July theme this month, and I was thrilled to break out my Christmas supplies and have some fun!
The background paper and fussy cut ornament were from The Paper Studio's Star of Bethlehem paper pad. The dark blue cardstock was embossed with a Kaisercraft Tiles embossing folder. After adhering the ornament with foam tape, I added Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine as a hanger and double bow for it. The sentiment was stamped using the APB Merry Christmas stamp set,VersaFine Clair Twilight ink, and heat embossed with Wow! Clear Sparkle embossing powder. I wrapped Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine around that strip of paper two time, then popped it up with foam tape. The finishing touch was a trio of Peppermint Icicle Sequins adhered with Bearly Art precision glue.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Bakers Twine~Chicken Cards

Hello all! Welcome to a new month for the Trendy Twine blog! This month is a free for all with Trendy Twine colors, so I let my imagination run wild and ended up using both Krazy for Kraft Trendy Twine and Totally Kraft Trendy Twine on these chicken themed cards.
When I saw the fun chicken paper in the 6x6" Carta Bella Sunflower Market paper pad, I knew I wanted to make a card for my mom using it. Chickens have have a big part in her life! I used the Bourbon Creek Crafts No Scraps Sketch Set #1 and 3 patterned papers as the starting point for these cards. Once I had the paper pieces coordinated the way I wanted, I decided to glue a braid of Trendy Twine down the front of the card. Two have Krazy for Kraft Trendy Twine and the third one has Totally Kraft Trendy Twine because I thought it stood out better on the busy chicken paper.
On one of the cards I decided to use the reverse of the chicken paper so it could be used for anyone. To build the focal point of the card, I adhered a kraft circle die cut from a GMD x-stitched die to a 3" Paper Doily. On the two chicken themed cards, using SB.com Leather ink I stamped a retired Raisin Boat chicken wire stamp. Once that was adhered to the card front with foam tape, I stamped the sentiment strip with a stamp from the APB Smile stamp set in SB.com Dark Chocolate ink and used ATG to place it on the circle.
The final touch was a trio of Chocolate Truffle Sequins that were adhered with Bearly Art precision glue.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Bakers Twine~Cheerful Treat Box

We are in the month of May, and that means a new color for the Trendy Twine blog posts! This month we are spotlighting Bumblebee Trendy Twine. I created a cheerful treat box to make someone smile!

I started my project with a Lemon Mini Popcorn Box and using Bearly Art precision glue, adhered Bumblebee Trendy Twine near the top and bottom edges of the box. I then created a die cut flower using papers from DCWV's Honey Dear stack, inked the edges with SB.com Daffodil ink, and layered it with foam tape to stick to the front of the box. A double bow of Bumblebee Trendy Twine and a sentiment stamped in black from the APB Choose Happy stamp set finished off the front of the box.

On the three other sides of the box, I used the centers of Lemon Midnight Trendy Page Dots to embellish! Don't throw those centers away when you use Trendy Page Dots, use them to dress up your projects! They can take the place of sequins or simply add polka dots to add visual interest.

If you are looking for more inspiration on what you can create with Bumblebee Trendy Twine, you can see some of my past projects using it HERE.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Bakers Twine~You Are 1 Layout

Good morning! I am on the Trendy Twine blog today with a first birthday scrapbook layout for my daughter. It features Tickled Pink Trendy Twine, a beautiful twist of pink and white, perfect for any girly projects!
All the patterned papers are from DCWV's Unicorns & Rainbows stack. It is THE stack of papers to get if you have a unicorn loving person in your life! I matted and adhered the photos first. The green striped matte layers were edged with Scrapbook.com succulent ink. I then made the title using my Silhouette Cameo and SCAL with fonts from my computer. The yellow and purple layers were solid colored cardstock, but the silver layer was adhesive vinyl. I love using that for words! The cardstock layers were adhered with Bearly Art precision glue. Before adding the number one to the layout with foam tape, I glued a 3" paper doily in green to the background paper, then wrapped Tickled Pink Trendy Twine around the 1 and tied it in a knot. I then put the Tickled Pink Trendy Twine up to the balloon, which was inked around with Scrapbook.com Candy Shop Pink ink. After adding a bow of Tickled Pink Trendy Twine on the balloon, I glued Raspberry Cupcake Sequins around the title.
I added a journaling tag to the layout with a Lavender Tag-It, Lemon Midnight Trendy Page DotTickled Pink Trendy Twine, and stamped a sentiment from the Documenting the Everyday #2 stamp set with VersaFine Clair Morning Mist ink. The bottom right corner had a unicorn printed on the paper. I simply added a double bow of Tickled Pink Trendy Twine to it's head to fancy it up a bit!
Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

You can find our featured twist of April, Tickled Pink, in the following samplers if you don't need a whole spool.
