SheetLoad of Gnome Cards

Hello all! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas yesterday. I still am trying to play catch up by sharing cards I made for crafty friends. In true fashion of this entire year, I didn't get around to sharing these until late! However, I hope you still enjoy them! They were created using the December 2023 SheetLoad of Cards. I love how EASY that sketch was!
The 6x6 paper I used was from Photoplay Paper's Best Of Christmas paper pad. Those gnomes and snowmen were too cute to not use! I changed the SheetLoad sketch a bit by using a shaped sentiment panel and also centering it with the gap between the patterned panels. The shaped panel was a duo of PinkFresh Studio fancy label frame dies cut in half.
I stamped the sentiment from Annie's Paper Boutique's Merry & Bright stamp set with VersaFine Clair Tulip Red ink. The three sequins were also from Annie's Paper Boutique and were from the O Christmas Tree and Jolly Medley sets. Everything was adhered with Bearly Art precision glue.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Twine~Merry Christmas!

Happy Christmas! What a beautiful day to celebrate. Even though the Annie's Paper Boutique store is closed through the remainder of 2023, we wanted to share Christmas projects on the Trendy Twine blog. This is what I created...
I absolutely LOVED the rich colors and prints on the patterned paper. It was an impulse paper buy called Winter Berry by The Paper Studio.  Of course, it matched the beautiful Holly Berry Trendy Twine perfectly! The scalloped layers were die cut with GMD scalloped stitched rectangle dies. The sweet poinsettia was a Hearthsewn cut file (#107506) from the Silhouette store. It was attached to the card with a gold brad. I glued 5 lengths of Holly Berry Trendy Twine to the area I planned to add the sentiment. The sentiment from the APB Merry Christmas stamp set was stamped with VersaMark and heat embossed with Wow! Metallic Gold Rich embossing powder. I added foam tape to the top and bottom of the sentiment strip to adhere it to the card. The final touch was adding Delightful Sequins.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Delightful Sequins

Tag Tuesday~Happy Day Tag Cards

Good morning! I am back with another Tag Tuesday project for the Trendy Twine blog. This time, it is a little different. I created cards that have a focal point of a tag instead of just decorating a tag. I love the extra visual interest a tag adds to cards!
The four cards are created in the same manner, but have different tag/twine combinations. The card layout was inspired by the December 2019 SheetLoad of Cards sketch. All cards have papers from DCWV's Get It Girl stack. The first two cards used Lemon Tag-ItsKraft Brown Trendy Page Dots, and Krazy for Kraft Trendy Twine. The sentiment from Pink and Main's Birthday Wishes stamp set was stamped on all the tags with VersaFine Clair Morning Mist ink.
This second style of tag was created with a White Tag-ItLemon Midnight Trendy Page Dot, and Totally Lemon Trendy Twine
The final style of tag was created with a Kraft Tag-ItLemon Midnight Trendy Page Dot, and Stormy Trendy Twine. Adhesives used include ATG, Scotch foam tape, and Bearly Art precision glue. The cards were embellished with Sunny Yellow Pearl Pen dots and thin gold nail art tape.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:
Lemon Tag-Its

Trendy Bakers Twine~Quick Christmas Treats

Hello all! I am on the Trendy Twine blog today with some quick Christmas treats. I know you have seen me use several Retro Tags and Vintage Inspired Tags from Annie's Paper Boutique lately, and that is because they are the perfect solution for making handmade projects in a snap.
These treats were created with Medium Candy Bags...yes, the ones that fit 7 Hershey's Nuggets in PERFECTLY! Who doesn't need a little chocolate treat in their lives?! I wrapped every other Nugget with patterned paper from The Paper Studio's Old World Winter paper pad. It had a vintage feel, just like the pre-printed tags. 1"x3" is the perfect size of paper to wrap Nuggets with. I prefer to use Glue Dots to adhere the paper to the wrapper. Once the bag was filled with candy, I used 2 strands of Candy Cane Trendy Twine and one strand of Holly Berry Trendy Twine to wrap around the length of the bag. Once the tag was slipped over the twine, I tied a bow with it. To prepare the tags, I added a Candy Cane Trendy Page Dot in a corner, punched a hole in the center, then adhered a stamped sentiment from the APB Let It Snow stamp set. For the first treat, I used the Deer & Friends Retro Tag.
For this treat, I used the North Pole Trading Company Vintage Inspired Tag. I did not add a stamped sentiment due to the large amount of writing already on it.
The sweet It's Christmas Retro Tag was used on my third treat.
For the finat treat, I used the Jolly Snowman Retro Tag. Now I have a collection of Christmas goodies ready to gift!

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

This month the Candy Cane Trendy Bakers Twine Sampler is on sale!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

SheetLoad of Vintage Sympathy Cards

Hello all! I am back on the last day of November to share one more SheetLoad of cards that I recently created. These are another set of sympathy cards, but have a very different feel than the last set I posted earlier this month. These were based off the November 2019 SheetLoad of Cards sketch. Now that I have two sets completed, I shouldn't need to make this theme for a while.
The patterned papers are from DCWV's Heirloom stack. They are thin paper, not cardstock, so I did have to be more careful while making these so I wouldn't bend the papers.
The sentiment is retired from My Craft Spot's With Deepest Sympathy stamp set. I stamped it with Scrapbook.com Dark Chocolate ink.
The cross was a free svg file that I cut with my Silhouette Cameo. To finish off the cards, I added a trio of GMD Emerald Waters matte enamel dots. Adhesives used include Bearly Art precision glue and ATG
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

SheetLoad of Confirmation Cards

Hello all! I recently was in need of Confirmation cards. I only needed one at the time, but decided it would be smart to make multiples since I have more coming up in the future. Therefore, I turned to my trusty binder of SheetLoad sketches and decided the October 2019 SheetLoad of Cards sketch would work great for these cards!
These are a fun fold card, which consequently took a little more time to create, but not much. The patterned papers were from 3 different paper pads! DCWV Watercolor Garden, DCWV Honey Dear, and The Paper Studio H2Oh So Colorful. The stamps are from a retired Raisin Boat set called Handle With Prayer and were stamped with VersaFine Clair Nocturne.
The front panel was die cut with Pink Fresh Fancy Label Frame dies. To add a little pizzazz, I used clear wink of stella on the dove (which you can't see in the photos) and a trio of GMD Rainbow gems. Adhesives used include Bearly Art precision glue and ATG. Below you can see the full fold-out view of the card!
Here is a look at all of the cards the SheetLoad created. Every one is different! Now I don't have to scramble last minute the next time I need a Confirmation card ;)
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Thankful For You

Hello all and Happy Thanksgiving! I am on the Trendy Twine blog today and wanted to share how thankful I am for each and every one of you with this Thanksgiving card.
I started by making the card base with panels of patterned paper from DCWV's Fall Gathering stack.  Don't you just love all the delicious foods on that bottom paper? It makes me think of a big Thanksgiving meal! Where the two papers meet, I wrapped Creamy Pumpkin Trendy Twine three times and also added a bow. The focal point was a die cut Pink Fresh fancy label with a pumpkin I fussy cut out of the patterned paper glued to it. I stamped all of the fun images from the Hello Fall planner stamp set onto more of the patterned papers and fussy cut those out as well to adhere around the pumpkin. Autumn Sequins added a bit of shine to the card and the final touch was a sentiment from the Happy Thanksgiving stamp set. Wishing you all a blessed and happy Thanksgiving!

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

The featured Trendy Twines of the month are part of the Orange Sampler, and it is on sale for November!

SheetLoad of "Denim" Sympathy Cards

Hello everyone! I was completely out of sympathy cards, so I knew I had to get busy making more! My favorite go-to when making multiple cards are SheetLoads, and I was inspired by the August 2020 SheetLoad to create these cards.
Patterned papers are from Authentique's Original 6x6" paper pad. I really loved those prints! The stamped sentiment is from my all time favorite sympathy stamp set, a retired My Craft Spot set called With Deepest Sympathy. It was stamped with Scrapbook.com Leather ink. If you have a favorite sympathy sentiment stamp set, please let me know! I would love to check it out!
The flower die is the GMD spring flower arrangements die. I inked a bit of Leather ink in the center and used a small white circle punch for the center. Adhesives used on these cards include Bearly Art precision glue and ATG.
I decided this card could have a little more masculine feel to it based on the paper designs, so instead of the flower, I used Cottage Cutz Feathers dies for the focal point. Now I have a good start on replenishing my sympathy cards!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Happy Birthday Lesley!

It's that time of the year again...Lesley's birthday! She is the owner of Annie's Paper Boutique and Trendy Twine. I always enjoy surprising her with a birthday blog post, so be sure to stop by the Trendy Twine blog to leave her some birthday wishes!
The card I created this year is an accordian fold card. I love getting creative with fun fold cards for her birthday just for that little extra special touch! Patterned papers are all from DCWV's Confetti stack. To decorate the belly band around the card, I used a GMD Doily Die with vellum and a tag. The tag was created with a White Tag-It, Pink Midnight Trendy Page Dot, sentiments from the Smile stamp set, Raspberry Cupcake Trendy Twine, Totally Raspberry Trendy Twine, and a Provo Craft cake die cut.  For some added bling, I added Blue Berry sequins with mini Glue Dots.
Once the belly band is slid off, you can see the accordian fold. Isn't that huge cupcake fun?!
The inside sentiments are also from the Smile stamp set. Adhesives used to assemble the card were ATG and Bearly Art precision glue.
Please stop by the Trendy Twine blog to see the card Shelly created for Lesley and to leave Lesley some birthday love as well!

SheetLoad of Baptism Cards (UFO Post #9)

Hello all! Today I am sharing a SheetLoad of Baptism cards. I used the July 2023 SheetLoad sketch as inspiration. I am also considering these cards part of my UFO (unfinished objects/projects) count. They sat on my craft desk for a while before I actually was able to complete them. If you are interested in seeing my other UFO's, click HERE.
I didn't follow the sketch exactly because I wanted to use a Scalloped Stitched Rectangle die for the background. The white on white patterned papers are from The Paper Studio's Blanc Boutique paper pad. The patterned gold paper is from DCWV's Mercury Glass stack.
The stamps are from a retired Raisin Boat stamp set called Child of God. Inks used were Scrapbook.com's Camel and Leather. I embellished with a trio of gold enamel dots. Adhesives used were Bearly Art precision glue for the layers and Scotch foam tape behind the stamped panel. I think these turned out very elegant!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
