Trendy Bakers Twine~SheetLoad of Wedding Cards

Hello all!  Welcome to another bonus post for the Trendy Twine blog!  In addition to my normal posts, this month I am also sharing cards that don't use the featured monthly color of Trendy Twine, but use other Annie's Paper Boutique products.  For this post, I created another SheetLoad of Cards, but this time I went with a wedding theme.  They showcase the beautiful Grape Licorice Trendy Twine.
Can we talk a little bit about Grape Licorice Trendy Twine?  It is actually considered a "Halloween Twine", but as you can see, it is gorgeous for SO many other occasions!  I also absolutely love the shade of purple. It is unique to Trendy Twine and is my favorite.  It matched the papers so well that I used it to make a band around the card plus a bow under the sentiment.
Okay, moving on to the rest of the card supplies...I roughly used the February 2020 SheetLoad of Cards sketch from Call Me Crafty Al.  Papers used include DCWV Black Currant and Glitzy Glitter stacks plus white and black cardstock and vellum.  I die cut the vellum banner with a diagonal stitched fishtail die and the labels were cut with fancy label frames.  The sentiment is from Unity's Everything More set and was stamped in black.  Adhesives used were Bearly Art precision glue, ATG, and foam tape under the sentiment.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Thinking of You Treat Bag

Good morning!  Today I am posting for the Trendy Twine blog with this lovely tin tie treat bag.  It is great for any occasion or just to say "thinking of you."
I started with a Kraft Tin Tie Bag and added banners of patterned cardstock.  The hearts were cut with the GMD Lacey Lattice Heart die set.  Papers used were from the DCWV Flower Shop and Bright and Pastel foil stacks.  Before gluing the large heart on the bag, I laced Totally Raspberry Trendy Twine through the lace edge and tied it in a bow at the bottom.  I love the bold look it created!  The smaller heart is popped up with foam tape and I glued the sentiment strip to that.  The sentiment stamp is from none other than the new APB Greetings stamp set!  It is such a versatile set!  To finish off the bag, I added Raspberry Cupcake Sequins randomly.  Once the goodies are added, it is ready to give to someone to brighten their day.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

You can also find Totally Raspberry in the Rosy and Raspberry Cupcake Samplers.

Trendy Bakers Twine~SheetLoad of Teacher Appreciation Cards

Hello all!  Welcome to a bonus post for the Trendy Twine blog!  In addition to my normal posts, this month I am also sharing cards that don't use the featured monthly color of Trendy Twine, but use other Annie's Paper Boutique products.  For this post, I made a SheetLoad of teacher appreciation cards.  Of course, teachers deserve thanks year round, but last week was the official teacher appreciation week and I hope these put a smile on my kids' teachers' faces!
These cards were pretty quick to put together since I used the May 2021 SheetLoad of Cards template from Call Me Crafty Al.  The patterned papers were from Doodlebug Design School Days 6x6 pad.
The Kraft and Leaf Green Tag-Its from Annie's Paper Boutique made the tag portion of the card sketch easy peasy, plus they worked great for the sentiment.  Believe it or not, the sentiment came from the APB Happy Thanksgiving stamp set and was stamped in black.  I added Christmas Mint Trendy Page Dots and Cherry Limeade Trendy Twine to the top of the tags.  To finish off the cards, I added sequins from the Christmas Shaker Medley with Bearly Art precision glue.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Princess Birthday Card

Hello all!  Today I am posting for the Trendy Twine blog with this sweet birthday card I created for my niece.  It features our Trendy Twine twist of the month, Totally Raspberry.
The idea for this card came from the Echo Park All Girl 6x6 paper pad.  I thought that princess paper was perfect! For the background, I used GMD scalloped stitched rectangle and stitched rectangle dies.  The scallops were perfect for wrapping Totally Raspberry Trendy Twine around!  The focal point was a collection of stamps from Raisin Boat's Party Princess set and colored with Artify alcohol markers.  I added embellishments of Totally Raspberry Trendy Twine to the party hat and skirt of the princess.  The oval die cuts were from Cottage Cutz.  The sentiment was from the NEW APB Greetings stamp set and for the finishing touches, I added a little sparkle with Cotton Candy sequins and Star Dust Stickles.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

You can also find Totally Raspberry in the Rosy and Raspberry Cupcake Samplers.

Teacher Appreciation Memo Pads

Hello all!  I am just sharing a quick post today with what I gave to my elementary kids' teachers this week for Teacher Appreciation Week.  I think we all agree that teachers are amazing people who deserve our gratitude all the time, but I am thankful that they have a week that is especially for them!
These pocket notepad holders were not my original idea, I found the tutorial on YouTube from Lyric Lover Crafts.  Be sure to check out her video!  The main measurements are 8.5"x5.25" scored at 4 and 4.5".  The front and back covers measure 3.75"x5" and the inside pockets measure a little less than 4"wide x 4" tall.  For the pockets, I applied them with a thin line of Bearly Art glue on the sides and bottom, leaving the top open so the memo pads could slip in.
I used a variety of papers for them including DCWV, The Paper Studio, and Kingston Crafts. The personalization on the front was easily done using Oracal 651 vinyl, SCAL and my Cameo with the Gantic font on the memo pad pictured above.

You can see that it holds two 3.5"x5" note pads from the Dollar Tree and they are removable so the holder can be re-used if desired.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
