Trendy Bakers Twine~Birthday Bee Card

Hello all! I am back with a project for the Trendy Twine blog that features Lemon Midnight Trendy Twine. I love the versatility of that twist! It works amazing for masculine projects, spring projects, and of course, bee themed projects, which is what I am sharing today.
On this card, I used several patterned papers from Echo Park's Bee Happy 6x6" paper pad. I wrapped Lemon Midnight Trendy Twine around both sides of the center strip of patterned paper two times to create a border. The GMD double stitched hexagon die cuts popped up with foam tape made a perfect landing pad for little bumblebees that I punched out of the patterned paper! I then created bee trails by using my precision glue press and just freehanding curly lines, then adding more Lemon Midnight Trendy Twine to those glue lines. For the sentiment strip, I used the Pink and Main Sweet stamp set with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and Scrapbook.com Daffodil ink. That also was popped up at an angle with the same angle as the hexagon sides in the middle of the card. I also added a trio of honey colored gems to finish everything off.
Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Bakers Twine~Spring Treat Bag

Hello all! I am posting for the Trendy Twine blog today with this springy treat bag. It features Posy Trendy Twine.

I started by filling a Kraft Tin Tie Bag and added a banner of patterned paper. The tag is a Posy Tag-It with a Kraft Brown Trendy Page Dot and a sentiment from the Friendship stamp set stamped in black ink. Once the top was shut, I wrapped Posy Trendy Twine around it three times, strung the tag on it, then tied it in a bow.
To decorate the lower portion of the bag, I added a Pink Floral Plank Pattern Heart Seal and Cotton Candy Sequins. I love the country chic feel this treat bag has!

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

If you don't need a full spool, you can find Posy in the Cotton Candy Sampler PLUS Cotton Candy and Sky Trendy Twines. Each twist is ten yards in length and comes on a wooden clothespin.

Trendy Bakers Twine~Spring Celebrate Cards

Hello all! It is officially SPRING and I am so excited to share my latest creations with that theme on the Trendy Twine blog. They feature the beautiful Cotton Candy Trendy Twine.
I started by choosing springtime patterned paper, which is from Jillibean Soup's Coconut Lime 6x6 paper pad. I utilized the November 2023 SheetLoad of Cards sketch as a way to showcase several visually interesting techniques/supplies.
I really loved the diagonal strips of paper. It was something different than I usually do! The Cotton Candy Trendy Twine was a perfect accent to add between those paper strips. It adds great texture to the card! The vellum circle was die cut with a Cottage Cutz stitched scallop circle die and was adhered to the card front with foam tape. I die cut the GMD spring flower arrangement die out of white to allow the patterned papers and little punched out butterflies to shine!
The sentiment is from the Greetings stamp set and was stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black ink. The banner, tiny butterflies, and flower were all adhered with Bearly Art precision glue. Don't the bright and beautiful colors on these cards make you smile? These will be great for birthday cards or just to brighten someone's day.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Bakers Twine~Butterfly Tag

Hello all! Spring is in the air and today I am sharing a tag for the Trendy Twine blog with that theme. It features Cotton Candy Trendy Twine which is a sweet twist of light pink and light blue.
I started with a Sky Chunky Tag-It, adhered a 3" Paper Doily, then added a Round Butterfly Vintage Inspired Tag popped up with foam tape. Cotton Candy Sequins matched the color scheme perfectly! The sentiment was stamped from the Smile stamp set in black on kraft paper. At the top of the tag, I placed Chevron Ribbon through the opening and tied a double knot of Cotton Candy Trendy Twine around the ribbon. The final touch was gluing a small bow of Cotton Candy Trendy Twine beneath the sentiment.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

GIU Gal Day #5

It is my final day of Growing in Unity!  From Monday through Friday I posted a new creation daily that featured stamps from Unity Stamp Co.  Be sure to stop by and comment each day because there will be 2 random winners from my blog comments who will each win a $20 gift credit to Unity!

On to project #5...

This project is extra special because it was created as a collaboration with my 4 year old daughter!  She loves crafting with me and chose all of the elements and colors she wanted to use on this card to send to her cousin.  The butterfly card base was from The Paper Studio.  The Unity Every Day Be Happy stamp was perfect for the card!  It was stamped using Scrapbook.com Midnight Blue ink and my daughter colored in the images with my alcohol markers.  That was matted with navy blue cardstock and adhered to a Posy Large Tag-It that was completed with an In The Navy Trendy Page Dot and Posy Trendy Twine.  The tag was popped up with foam tape onto the card front and a trio of GMD Iris sparkle glitter enamel dots were the finishing touch.
Here is a photo of my daughter holding the card she created!  My niece who was the recipient loved the card too!
As I mentioned earlier, be sure to leave a comment and stop by all week to increase your chances at winning those Unity gift certificates!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Mother's Day Card

Hello all!  Today I am on the Trendy Twine blog with a Mother's Day card.  It features one of our bright and cheerful twines of the month, Totally Lemon Trendy Twine.
I started by stamping a Unity stamp onto watercolor paper with Scrapbook.com hybrid black ink.  Once that was fully dry, I watercolored the image with Distress Inks then die cut around the image with a GMD Eyelet Elegance rectangle die.  That die has the perfect holes to weave the Totally Lemon Trendy Twine through!  I love how it added texture and created another visual frame around the image.  I added a sentiment from the APB Friendship stamp set onto a kraft banner and glued a die cut "mom" above it to make it a little more personalized.  The sequins on the card are from the Grape Fizz SequinRaspberry Cupcake Sequin and Sky Sequin mixes and were adhered with Bearly Art precision tip glue. The whole front panel was then glued to a kraft card base that I had distressed with brown ink along the edges.  I think this will be the perfect card to give my mom for Mother's Day!

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Bakers Twine~Spring Thanks Card

Good morning!  Today I am on the Trendy Twine blog with this spring themed card.  It features our Trendy Twine twists of the month, Chocolate Cupcake, and Chocolate Sprinkles.
I started with a kraft card base and added Jillibean Soup patterned papers with Chocolate Cupcake Trendy Twine and Chocolate Sprinkles Trendy Twine wrapped around.  I then proceeded to add a GMD eyelet elegance square die cut at an angle, with the excess trimmed off.  The Kraft Tag-It and flower die cuts were all distressed with Memento Desert Sand ink.  The tag was finished off with a Spiced Pumpkin Trendy Page Dot and Chocolate Cupcake and Chocolate Sprinkles Trendy Twines, then popped up with foam tape to the card.  The sentiment was stamped from the Greetings stamp set using SB.com Dark Chocolate ink.  Cotton Candy sequins added a finishing touch to the whole card.

Trendy Bakers Twine~Bunny Treat Holder

Hello all!  Welcome back from a bit of a break.  Spring is in the air, and with it, I have a cute Easter project for the Trendy Twine blog to share featuring Watermelon Taffy and Pink Limeade Trendy Twines.
When I saw the Bunny Candy Wrap file from My Scrap Chick, I knew I had to make it.  It was perfect to dress up with Trendy Twine, of course!  I added Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine to the center of the bow and also three lines of it around the whole bow tie band.
On the egg, I used Pink Limeade Trendy Twine to create decorative lines, and Raspberry Cupcake Sequins all adhered with Bearly Art precision glue.  A Hershey's candy bar fits perfectly inside and can either be taken out from the top or by removing the bow tie band.  Isn't it an adorable Easter treat?

Annie's Paper Boutique-Friendship Stamp Release

Hello all!  Today is a big day as we release the BRAND NEW Friendship stamp set from Annie's Paper Boutique and a new mix of sequins called Sky. The Sky sequins match the Sky Trendy Twine perfectly with a blend of light blue and cream. Be sure to stop by the Trendy Twine blog to see more creations with these new products!
Let's talk a little more about the new Friendship stamp set.  When is the last time you sent out a card to your friends just to tell them how much they are appreciated?  These stamps are exactly what you need to put a smile on their face!  I simply love all the meaningful sentiments included and I chose 3 to put on the front of the card I made.  The sentiment behind the shaker was stamped in SB.com Charcoal ink and the other two sentiments were stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink.
What better way to showcase sequins than a shaker?!  I used brand new Sky sequins, foam tape and plastic from a page protector to make the shaker element on this card.  Yes, those sequins match Sky Trendy Twine perfectly!  The patterned papers were from DCWV's Wild & Free stack.  I used a GMD Loopy Rectangle die for the blue layer and two flower dies to cut out the area of the shaker.  Bearly Art precision glue worked perfectly to adhere the Sky Trendy Twine around the patterned paper and the bow as well.  For a finishing touch, I glued a small blue sequin from the Sky sequins on both of the sentiment strips.  Oh, and all of the cream you see on the papers is actually just SB.com Sugar Cookie ink blended onto the white or patterned paper.  It matched very will with the natural twist in the Sky Trendy Twine!  Now my card is ready to send off to someone special.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:
