GIU Gal ~ Day 5

I am so excited and honored to be the Growing in Unity Gal this week! Each day I will post a creation I have made using stamps from Unity Stamp Co.

Today is day #5, my final day, and I created a sympathy themed card for today.
The stamps that I worked with are from Unity's Everything More stamp set.  I can't even begin to tell you how MANY times I have used this set!  It is a must have for sure.  I scanned my stamped image and cut around it with my Silhouette Cameo, also cutting a shadow out as well.  The papers I used are from DCWV's Summer Dream and Glitzy Glitter stacks.  The only embellishments were clear gems.  Adhesives used were ATG and Scotch foam tape.

GIU Gal ~ Day 4

I am so excited and honored to be the Growing in Unity Gal this week! Each day I will post a creation I have made using stamps from Unity Stamp Co.

Today is day #4, and I created a love themed card for today.
I used the What's Your Sign stamp set on this card.  That little bird is adorable!  I colored him with various markers and used stitched circle die cuts to create the focal point.
The patterned papers are from BoBunny's Love Letters 6x6 paper pad.  Other dies I used were GMD stitched rectangles, hearts and a postage rectangle from eBay. The only embellishment I used was red pearls.  Adhesives used were ATG and Scotch foam tape.

Tractor Birthday Cards

Good morning! This is my second post for the day.  If you are looking for my Growing In Unity post, click HERE.  Today is my day to post on the SumMore Fun blog. The cards I am sharing with you uses stamps from Raisin Boat's Homegrown and Happy Camper stamp sets.
The tractor and barn stamps are from the RB Homegrown stamp set.  That set is absolutely amazing!  I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it.  They were both stamped in brown ink.  The tractor was colored with colored pencils.  The panels were cut with GMD wonky stitched rectangle dies.
The Happy Birthday sentiment was from the RB Happy Camper stamp set.  I used black ink for that so it would pop off the patterned paper a little more.  All the patterned papers are from DCWV's Gilded Paper stack.
I had to make a red tractor as well since I have some family members who are into those.  Embellishments for these cards include burlap paper, ribbons, Berry and Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twines, as well as brads.
Remember, we have this Mood Board Challenge going on right now! Here is the inspiration photo for it. You can use the pictures, theme, and/or colors to enter.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

I am so excited and honored to be the Growing in Unity Gal this week! Each day I will post a creation I have made using stamps from Unity Stamp Co.  This is my second post on my blog today.  If you are looking for my SumMore Fun post, click HERE.

Today is Day #3, and I created an encouragement card to share with you today.
The stamp set from Unity that I used is called In Love With Love (KOM 6/14).  Isn't that lightbulb stamp so awesome?!  I stamped it onto watercolor paper, watercolored it, and then added glitter paint and white Nuvo Crystal Drops around it as accents.
I kept is simple, only adding a bit of Bumblebee Trendy Twine at the bottom of the front panel.  Dies are from Scrapbook Outlet.  Adhesives used were ATG and Scotch foam tape.

GIU Gal ~ Day 2

I am so excited and honored to be the Growing in Unity Gal this week! Each day I will post a creation I have made using stamps from Unity Stamp Co.

Today is day #2, and  I created a tag to share today.
The Unity stamp set that I used today is called Totally & Utterly Amazing (KOM 5/13).  It is such a versatile set!  This tag was a lot of fun to make using a dress form stamp and sentiment that fit the tag so well.
I used papers from DCWV's DIY Tags and Sunday Afternoon Tags stacks.  I used lace and Tickled With Teal Trendy Twine to dress up the tag a bit more.

GIU Gal ~ Day 1

I am so excited and honored to be the Growing in Unity Gal this week! Each day I will post a creation I have made using stamps from Unity Stamp Co.  This is my second post on my blog today.  If you are looking for my Trendy Twine post, click HERE.

Today is Day #1, and even though it is Christmas, I decided to go with a general card theme.
The stamp set from Unity that I used is called In Love With Love (KOM 6/14).  I used brown ink for the stamps.  The patterned papers are from G45's Home Sweet Home collection.
I made two cards, reversing the color scheme.  The dies I used on this card include GMD scalloped stitched rectangle and stitched rectangle dies and Cottage Cutz stitched oval die.
Here is a close up of that pretty image stamp.
I embellished with Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine and white pearls.

Here is what I created...
The file that I used to create this bi-fold card is from SVG Attic's SDS Ready For Take Off set.  Isn't it adorable!  The propeller even turns.
The papers are from Echo Park's A Boy's Life collection.  I inked around the outside of the cuts with brown chalk ink.  The only embellishments are GMD Beach Party enamel dots.  Adhesives used are ATG, Scotch foam tape, and Scotch Tacky glue.

SumMore Fun Mood Board #18

Happy Friday! Today is the start of a new challenge at the SumMore Fun blog with a new mood board (you can see it at the bottom of this post). Here is what I created for inspiration!
The whole idea for this bookmark was based around the wonderful Victorine Originals Clock Minutes stamp.  I stamped that with Versafine Onyx Black ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder.  I drew the hands on with a ultra fine black Sharpie.
The background was created with Distress Oxide inks in Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry, and Black Soot as well as Antique Linen Distress Ink.  I splattered the background with water, then with watered down black acrylic paint.  The numbers were cut from black DCWV Glitzy Glitter cardstock.  The finishing touch were doodles of gold chalk marker and a tassel of Pink Midnight Trendy Twine.

This is the wonderful mood board for the current challenge:
Head on over to the SumMore Fun blog and check out their challenge post. You have two weeks to enter your project/s.  We can't wait to see your take on the current Mood Board.  Remember your project doesn't have to be All Decked Out only. You have three options Photo Inspiration, Color Palette, and/or Theme.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Creeper Birthday Card

Happy Thursday!  Today I am sharing birthday card #2 for the week.  This one was for my middle son's birthday this past Sunday.  He had a Minecraft birthday and loved this card!
I used green, white, black and gray Recollections cardstock on this card.  Yes, it totally felt odd using only solid colors for both this card and the Patriots card I shared earlier this week!  The white layer is embossed with a brick embossing folder.  It is really hard to see in these pictures, but it looks awesome in person.  The creeper and wall were files that I created in SCAL4.  The layers were adhered with ATG.
I cut the 8 two times at 1.5" tall using Continuum Bold font and layered the cuts on top of each other. with Scotch Tacky glue.  The stamp is from Whimsy Stamps' Boy Talk set and it matched perfectly!  I stamped it with VersaFine Onyx Black and embossed with clear powder.  The only embellishments were sequins in lime, black, and silver.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Twine ~ Christmas Cookie Box

Hello all and happy Wednesday!   I am sharing this cute cookie box I decorated on the Trendy Twine blog today.
I started out by stamping stars on the Kraft window box using Chalk White VersaMark ink.  After that was dry, I formed the box and added the monster cookie.  The tag was created by stamping and heat embossing a sentiment from APB Merry & Bright stamps onto a Cranberry Tag-It.  I layered that with a Green Gingham Tag-It, added holly leaves, Frosted Cranberry sequins, a Candy Cane Trendy Page Dot, and snow marker details.  The finishing touch was wrapping the box with Berry Trendy Twine.
Here is a look at the box without the tag, so you can see what the clear window looks like.  The cookie I placed inside was a bit smaller side, measuring approximately 2.5".  It fit perfectly!
Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:
