Trendy Bakers Twine~Spring Thanks Card

Good morning!  Today I am on the Trendy Twine blog with this spring themed card.  It features our Trendy Twine twists of the month, Chocolate Cupcake, and Chocolate Sprinkles.
I started with a kraft card base and added Jillibean Soup patterned papers with Chocolate Cupcake Trendy Twine and Chocolate Sprinkles Trendy Twine wrapped around.  I then proceeded to add a GMD eyelet elegance square die cut at an angle, with the excess trimmed off.  The Kraft Tag-It and flower die cuts were all distressed with Memento Desert Sand ink.  The tag was finished off with a Spiced Pumpkin Trendy Page Dot and Chocolate Cupcake and Chocolate Sprinkles Trendy Twines, then popped up with foam tape to the card.  The sentiment was stamped from the Greetings stamp set using SB.com Dark Chocolate ink.  Cotton Candy sequins added a finishing touch to the whole card.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Seminarian Easter Cards 2022

Hello all!  I know Easter is past, but I wanted to share the Easter cards I created for the Seminarians from our Diocese that are studying to become priests.

All the cardstock besides the white was from Kingston Crafts paper pads.  I followed the September 2021 SheetLoad of Cards sketch.  The stamps were from Diamond Press.  The sentiment was stamped with VersaFine Clair Warm breeze ink and the cross was stamped with VersaMark, heat embossed with gold powder and die cut with the included die.  I kept the cards pretty simple and flat as I was making them in quantity to mail, so the only embellishments I added were a strip of ribbon behind the cross and gold pearl pen dots.  I love the richness of that embossed cross!
Here is a look at all the cards I made in this style...22 in all!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Happy Easter!

Happy Easter morning!  On the Trendy Twine blog, we have sweet projects to share with you, so hop over there to take a peek.  I created these Easter treats to place in my kids' Easter baskets.
First of all, I filled Square Glassine Envelopes with M&M peanut butter eggs and sealed them shut with double sided tape.  I then die cut an Easter banner, adding double sided tape to the back of the paper before die cutting to make the banner be a large sticker.  The carrots were colored orange with a marker and I left the bunnies white.  I then added bow ties of Cotton Candy Trendy Twine to the bunnies and carrot tops of Twisted Lime Trendy Twine with Bearly Art precision glue.
I decided to add a Kraft Metal Rim Tag with a strand of Cotton Candy Trendy Twine.  The sentiments on the tags were stamped from the Smile stamp set using VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink.  To finish off the project, I added Cotton Candy Sequins with Mini Glue Dots.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Growing In Unity Day 5

It is my final day of Growing in Unity!  From Monday through Friday I posted a new creation daily that featured stamps from Unity Stamp Co.  Be sure to stop by and comment each day because there will be 2 random winners from my blog comments who will each win a $20 gift credit to Unity!

On to project #5...

I started by stamping the Ruler Background stamp set with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink onto various scrap carstocks that coordinated with the background paper.  I trimmed the stamped papers and arranged them in a way I liked onto the background, glueing them in place with Bearly Art Precision Glue. To add visual interest by the sentiment, I wrapped In The Navy and Stormy Trendy Twine next to it.  The final embellishment was a trio of enamel dots.

As I mentioned earlier, be sure to leave a comment and stop by all week to increase your chances at winning those Unity gift certificates!  I will be announcing the winners of those next week.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Growing In Unity Day 4

Thanks for sticking with me through my week of Growing in Unity!  From Monday through Friday I will post a new creation daily that feature stamps from Unity Stamp Co.  Be sure to stop by and comment each day because there will be 2 random winners from my blog comments who will each win a $20 gift credit to Unity!

On to project #4...

The stamps from the focal panel are from Unity's Everything More stamp set.  I stamped it with Scrapbook.com Orange Spice and Midnight Blue inks and cut around it with my Brother Scan N Cut, then also cut the shadow layer with the Scan N Cut.  The butterfly was from a Unity grab bag and worked perfectly to accent the card.  The style of card is a fun fold called Diagonal Double Fold Card.  You can find the tutorial I somewhat followed to create this card HERE.  The patterned papers I used were from The Paper Studio's Orange Envy mat paper pad.  I don't usually use orange in my cards, but these papers were too pretty to pass up!  Adhesives used include Bearly Art precision glue and foam tape.
This is how the card looks when it is all opened up.  I really liked the addition of the butterfly peeking out from the inside.
As I mentioned earlier, be sure to leave a comment and stop by all week to increase your chances at winning those Unity gift certificates!

Growing In Unity Day 3

Thanks for coming to my week of Growing in Unity!  From Monday through Friday I will post a new creation daily that feature stamps from Unity Stamp Co.  Be sure to stop by and comment each day because there will be 2 random winners from my blog comments who will each win a $20 gift credit to Unity!

On to project #3...

The stamps I used were from Unity's Unexpected Places (KOM 2/17) stamp set.  I inked them with Scrapbook.com hybrid black ink and stamped them onto watercolor paper.  I used my stamp platform and re-inked three times to achieve the rich black lines you see on the card.  Once dry, I used various Distress Ink colors and watercolored the coffee cups.  I also made a faux "coffee cup" circle at the top and splatters with Distress Ink as well.  I kept this card simple, which is hard for me to do!!  I simply matted the stamped panel onto a dark brown cardstock layer, then onto a corrugated embossed kraft cardstock.  The card was complete!
As I mentioned earlier, be sure to leave a comment and stop by all week to increase your chances at winning those Unity gift certificates!

On to project #2...

I created a graduation card using Unity's Totally & Utterly Amazing (KOM 5/13) stamp set.  The hats were stamped using VersaFine Clair Tulip Red and the sentiment was stamped using VersaFine Clair Nocturne.  The sentiment strip was embellished with Berry Trendy Twine and then popped up with foam tape.  The only other embellishment was silver Pearl Pen dots on the hats.  Additional adhesives used include Bearly Art precision glue and ATG.

Growing In Unity Day 1

Welcome to my week of Growing in Unity!  From Monday through Friday I will post a new creation daily that feature stamps from Unity Stamp Co.  Be sure to stop by and comment each day because there will be 2 random winners from my blog comments who will each win a $20 gift credit to Unity!

On to project #1...

I used Unity's I Consider You Special stamp set for this card.  It is probably one of my all time favorite Unity sets because of it's versatility!  The inks I used were from Scrapbook.com and the colors were Pink Lemonade, Camel, and Dark Chocolate.  I then used my Brother Scan N Cut to cut out the stamped panel.  I popped that up with foam tape onto a die cut tag that was embellished with Posy Trendy Twine and a Krazy for Kraft Trendy Page Dot.  The patterned papers were from DCWV's Meet Me In Paris stack.  The final embellishment was gold foil enamel dots.  Adhesives used include Bearly Art precision glue and foam tape.
As I mentioned earlier, be sure to leave a comment and stop by all week to increase your chances at winning those Unity gift certificates!

Hello all!  I am on the Trendy Twine blog today with a duo of Easter treats that feature our twists of the month, Chocolate Cupcake Trendy Twine and Chocolate Sprinkles Trendy Twine.

I filled the inside bag that is included with the treat packet with M&M's peanut butter eggs!

Once again, I filled it with M&M's peanut butter eggs.  Adhesives used on these include Bearly Art precision glue, Mini Glue Dots, and double sided adhesive.
