SheetLoad of Anniversary Cards

Good morning!  Today I am back with another SheetLoad of cards.  This time it is a set of anniversary cards.  These were created using the May 2022 SheetLoad sketch from Call Me Crafty Al.
The patterned paper and stickers used are from the Echo Park 12x12" Just Be You kit. I have made several cards from this kit, and you can see them HEREHEREHERE, and most recently, HERE.  That makes at least 33 cards from that kit!!
The card above uses a sticker and the one below is a die cut heart from those papers.  Adhesives used were ATG, fun foam, and Bearly Art precision glue.  The sentiment was stamped with Scrapbook.com Midnight Blue ink with a stamp from My Sentiments Exactly, Anniversary Innies & Outies set.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Disney Inspired Cards (UFO Post #7)

Hello again!  I am back with more UFO!  I'm telling you, it feels great knocking these projects out of the way :)  If the layout of these look familiar, it is because I made THESE CARDS with the same cuts.  I loved these papers, but couldn't think of a way to finish them off, so they sat on my desk for too long.
I based the cutting design of the patterned paper off of THIS One Sheet Wonder die. It was unavailable to purchase when I was looking to utilize it for cards, so I simply cut the papers in the general same way as the die.  The patterned papers are from Simple Stories Say Cheese.  I used black tape to line the center strip of paper for more definition.  The image panel was die cut using Pink Fresh Studio label dies, and SVG for the Minnie (and Mickey).  The stamp was from Echo Park's Smiles from Ear to Ear stamp set and was stamped in Scrapbook.com Cardinal Red ink.  I added metal stars to embellish.
The remaining banners of paper from the above cards were turned into these simple thank you cards.
Adhesives used for all cards include Bearly Art glue and ATG.  The stamp used on these three cards is a retired Victorine Originals stamp.  If you are interested in checking out my other UFO posts, you can do so HERE.

Trendy Bakers Twine~SheetLoad of Red, White, & Blue Cards

Hello all!  This month we are sharing patriotic projects on the Trendy Twine blog.  It is always fun to use the patriotic twines of Berries Jubilee Trendy Twine and Stars & Stripes Trendy Twine!  Today I am sharing a SheetLoad of red, white, & blue cards!
I decided to make a set of cards that could be used in a patriotic way, but also more versatile.  I decided to use the March 2023 SheetLoad of Cards sketch and paper from the BoBunny Celebrating Freedom 6x8 paper pad for today's 8 cards.  The sentiment is from the Greetings stamp set and was stamped in SB.com midnight blue ink.  Once that strip was adhered onto the white/patterned paper panel, I wrapped a length of Stars & Stripes Trendy Twine above and below it.  Using a strong double sided tape, I adhered that panel to the card base.
To embellish, I die cut flowers out of solid cardstock and popped them up with foam tape to the left of the sentiment.  A trio of small gems finished off the card.  Here is a look at all 8 cards!  I enjoyed rotating the papers through all four areas of the card to make different looks.  Now these can be sent out as party invitations OR birthday cards!

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

These patriotic samplers are a wonderful way to get several colors of Trendy Twine and are on sale this month!  Each color is ten yards in length and is wound on a wooden clothespin for easy use and storage.

Smile Cacti Card

Hello all!  I am back with another card I created using scraps!  This time it is paper from the Echo Park 12x12" Just Be You kit.  I have made several cards from this kit, and you can see them HERE, HERE, and HERE.  Plus, I have another SheetLoad of cards with this kit coming soon!
This card came together so easily just by layering scraps.  The sentiment is a sticker from the kit that I popped up with foam tape.  I sent this card to my niece because everything about it made me think of her.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Eat, Sleep, Hunt Card (UFO Post #6)

Hello all!  Here in the Midwest, hunting is a regular occurrence.  Of course, when you have stamp sets that go perfectly together, card ideas like this one are born!  I had stamped the background with a retired Victorine Originals stamp set and SB.com Cinnamon ink. The stamps are red rubber and I kept it all together instead of cutting it apart so I could use it as a background instead of individual stamps.  That was the portion of this card that was sitting unfinished on my craft table for a long time.
I finally finished off the card by adding a panel to the front that included stamps from the retired Raisin Boat Big Bucks set.  I used SB.com Camel and Cinnamon inks for that, then used GMD stitched rectangle dies for the two panel layers and popped it up with foam tape on the card.  A few silver brads were the only embellishments.  This card is perfect for birthdays or even Father's Day for those hunters in our lives.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Thanks Scrap Card

Hello all!  Today's quick post is simply to share a card I made using leftover strips of patterned paper from THIS set of cards.  I thought the scrap papers were too pretty to throw out!
I simply centered the .75" scraps of Jillibean Soup Grandma's Lima Bean Soup 6x6 patterned papers onto a navy cardstock panel using Bearly Art Glue.  A strip of thin blue tape went straight down the center to cover a slightly rough edge on the paper.  I added a length of vellum horizontally, then glued the Thanks die cuts from Pink & Main onto the top.  The only embellishment was red pearl pen dots.
I think this card turned out great for only using scraps!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Firecracker Bag

Hello all!  This month we are sharing patriotic projects on the Trendy Twine blog.  It is always fun to use the patriotic twines of Berries Jubilee Trendy Twine and Stars & Stripes Trendy Twine!  Today I am sharing a "firecracker" treat bag.
I started by adhering strips of scrap papers from BoBunny Celebrating Freedom paper pad to the Kraft Tin Tie Bag.  I thought the stars and stripes paper looked like a firecracker, so I ran with that idea.  To create the wick of the firecracker, I took 3 long strands of  Berries Jubilee Trendy Twine, taped the center of the strands to the table, then proceeded to braid it using 2 strands together.  Bearly Art glue adhered it well to the bag.
I thought the front looked a little empty, so I added a sentiment strip.  The stars stamps are from the APB Merry Christmas stamp set and were stamped with Scrapbook.com Cardinal hybrid ink.  The USA stamp is from a retired Raisin Boat stamp set and was stamped in SB.com Midnight Blue hybrid ink.  Once that was glued to the bag, I added sequins from both the Blue Berry sequin mix and Jolly Shaker Medley.  I love using products for something other than their intended purpose, so I was happy to use two Christmas items on this project!

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Anniversary Card (UFO Post #5)

Hello all!  Once again, I am sharing a card that was sitting unfinished on my craft table for way too long!  The part of this card that was there was the die cut background.
The background of the card was created with DCWV Happy Day papers and GMD Triple Layer Background dies, glued together with Bearly Art precision tip glue.  To create the stamped panel, I used retired Raisin Boat stamp sets called Springtime Love and True Love with Scrapbook.com inks in Charcoal and Succulent and cut the wreath out with my Brother Scan N Cut.  The sentiment strip was popped up with foam tape.  If this card looks familiar, I created a similar one back in March that you can see HERE.
Check out my other UFO posts HERE.
