Trendy Bakers Twine~Thanksgiving Treat Boxes

Good morning!  Today I am on the Trendy Twine blog with Thanksgiving/fall treat boxes that feature our twine of the month, Totally Chocolate.
The first box is a Mini Kraft Take Out Box, covered with patterned paper from DCWV's Fall Gathering stack.  I then wrapped Totally Chocolate Trendy Twine around the middle of the box three times, tying it in a bow on the side.  The focal point was a Round Crow & Pumkin Vintage Inspired Tag, which was popped up with foam tape, and was embellished with Chocolate Truffle sequins adhered with Bearly Art precision tip glue.  The Thankful sentiment was from APB Hello Fall stamps and was stamped with SB.com Leather ink.
The second box is also a Mini Kraft Take Out Box, covered with patterned paper from DCWV's Fall Gathering stack and wrapped Totally Chocolate Trendy Twine around the middle of the box three times, tying it in a bow on the side. The focal point for this one was a Round Scarecrow No. 2 Vintage Inspired Tag, which was popped up with foam tape, and was embellished with Autumn Sequins adhered with Bearly Art precision tip glue.  The Happy Harvest sentiments were from APB Hello Fall stamps and was stamped with SB.com Leather ink.

Happy Birthday Lesley!

Hello all! Today is an extra special day as we celebrate Lesley's birthday!  She is the owner of Annie's Paper Boutique and a great friend too!  Stop by the Trendy Twine blog to see the cards that are heading her way.
Here is the card I created for her:
Lesley loves Disney themes, so I took out my EK Success Frozen paper pad and got to work!  I used a fun fold card tutorial which was quite simple to create, but makes an interesting card for sure.  The focal point has a die cut white doily layered with a Pink Tag-It.  I punched a hole in the opposite end of the Tag-It so it looks like more of a banner than a tag.  I stamped sentiments from the APB Smile stamp set in black and tied bits of Tickled Pink Trendy Twine and Grape Fizz Trendy Twine in each hole.
The finishing touch was Grape Fizz Sequins sporadically added with Bearly Art precision glue.  below you can see how the card sits up.  I loved creating this style of card and I hope Lesley loves it too!

Annie's Paper Boutique~Very Merry Sequin Release

Hello everyone! Today is a very exciting day at Annie's Paper Boutique as we share a Very Merry sequin release! Christmas is just right around the corner and with our four brand new sequin blends, you'll be sure to find just the right one for your projects. We know you are excited to see what the Design Team has created, but let's take a peek at the new sequins -- Jolly MedleyDelightfulMerry, and O Christmas Tree.

For my project, I created a frameless shaker card.  I decided it was the perfect way to showcase those gorgeous Delightful sequins!  When I first looked at those sequins, it made me think of a warm, vintage Christmas, so that is the "feel" I went with for my card.
The base cardstock was from DCWV's Gold Foil 6x6 stack and I covered that with a page protector, securing it on the back side of the cardstock on 3 sides before adding a generous amount of Delightful sequins.  I then secured the fourth side of the page protector sheet to the back.  The tree was a free SVG from Hello SVG and I inked around the outside with SB.com Olive ink to make it more vintage feeling.  For the trunk, I added Bearly Art glue and a few short strips of Totally Chocolate Trendy Twine.  To decorate the tree, I added garlands of Krafty Red Trendy Twine and Delightful sequins, all of which were also adhered with Bearly Art glue.  The whole tree was adhered to the plastic with red lined tape.
For an extra bit of elegance and warmth, I stamped a sentiment and star from APB Merry Christmas stamp set with VersaMark ink and heat embossed them with Wow! Metallic Gold Rich powder.  Once again, I adhered them with red lined tape to make sure they stuck well to the plastic.  Just like that, one more Christmas card completed!
Be sure to stop by the Trendy Twine blog to see what other very merry projects were made with these new sequins!

Sheetload of Fall Sympathy Cards

Hello everyone!  Today I am back with another SheetLoad of Cards.  This time is a a group of sympathy cards with a fall theme.  The SheetLoad of Card sketch I used was November 2020.
The patterned papers were from DCWV's Farmstead Harvest 6x6" stack.  The sentiment was stamped with Unity's I Consider You Special set with SB.com Leather ink.  That was die cut with CC stitched circle dies and popped up with foam tape.  I also used ATG and Bearly Art precision tipped glue on these cards.
Behind the sentiment was the perfect place for a bit of visual interest with GMD Twiggy Branches die cuts.  To embellish, I added score lines around the center panel and also went over those score lines with white gel pen.  I also added gold Pearl Pen dots in the upper right corner.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Sunflower Box Card

Good morning!  Today I am on the Trendy Twine blog with a delightful fall box card.  Sunflowers are such a beautiful sign of fall and they always make me smile.  This one features our Trendy Twine of the month, Totally Chocolate.
I started with the Sunflower Envelope Box Card file from My Scrap Chick and cut it all out with my Silhouette Cameo.  For the center of the sunflower, I really wanted a lot of visual interest, so I wrapped the whole thing in a spiral of Totally Chocolate Trendy Twine.  To do that, I started with red lined tape in the center, then towards the outside I glued it down with Bearly Art precision tip glue.  I also glued Chocolate Truffle sequins to the center of the flower and the card front.  The sentiment was from the APB Happy Thanksgiving stamp set and was stamped in SB.com Leather Ink.  That same color of ink was used on the edges of most of the die cuts before assembly to make the card look a bit more rustic.

Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Neutral Colors Sympathy Card

Hello friends!  Today I am sharing a single sympathy card with you.  It was a quick one due to the fact that I used a sketch with it.  The sketch I used was MFT sketch #49.  If you aren't familiar with MFT sketches, they have pages and pages of them you can print out and use to create with!
The patterned papers are from Craft Smith Natural Luxury paper pad (my favorite for sympathy cards!).  The sentiment stamp is retired from My Craft Spot's Deepest Sympathy set.  I die cut around the sentiment with GMD scalloped stitched rectangle die, matted it and popped it up with foam tape.  I used a gold thread nest under the sentiment for extra visual interest.  I did chop the upper right corner off, exposing the white card base and added a trio of pearl pen dots in bronze.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
