Vinyled Pumpkin

Halloween will be here tomorrow!  Are you all done decorating your pumpkins?  If not, I have the perfect solution for you...put vinyl on them!
I used SVG Attic's Raven Quest set.  I used white and black Oracal 651 vinyl (outdoor vinyl with a permanent adhesive) to decorate my pumpkin.  It was so much fun!  I loved being creative in the placement of the swirls.
PLUS... SVG Attic's sister site, SnapDragon Snippets, has a GRAND RE-OPENING!  This is so awesome!  A brand new site, multiple designers and a chance to win a Silhouette Portrait!!
YES---You could win a Silhouette Portrait!

G45 Halloween cards and a WINNER!

I have been using the Graphic 45 paper pad called Steampunk Spells this season and have really been having fun with it.
The first card has a glittery die cut cat popped up with foam tape.  I added a sentiment stamp from Mark's Finest Papers buttons, black rhinestones, and Orange Licorice Trendy Twine.
This second card is very simple.  I let the paper do all of the talking :)  I layered several of the papers from this paper pad and finished it off with some black crinkled seam binding.
If you missed the other projects I made with this paper pad, you can check them out here:

Bat Easel Card

Have you ever made a project and thought it needed just a little extra *something* to make it perfect?  That is what I was thinking when I made this card.  It is from SVG Attic's Halloween Soiree set.  Once the card was assembled I wanted to add something to take it up a level...and I chose Trendy Twine!
I used Orange Licorice and Orange Limeade Trendy Twines to make bows on the bat and by the sentiment to finish it off.  I think it did the trick, don't you??

Christmas Joy Shaker Card: MCS Day #5

Today is the final day of the sneak peeks for My Craft Spot's Christmas stamps.  Tomorrow will be the blog hop, so make sure you stop back then!  You will also be able to purchase all of the stamp sets tomorrow as well!  Today I am using the Merry and Bright stamp set.  I created a ornament shaker card using the Christmas Ornament Shaker 1, and Christmas Ornament Shaker 2 SVG files from My Craft Spot.
For inside the shaker portion, I added glitter, Christmas Candy Sequins and Toadally Green Sequins.  This was my first attempt at a shaker card and I think it turned out great :)

Let It Snow Box: MSC Day #4

Today is the fourth day of My Craft Spot's Christmas stamp release.  Today we are featuring the Christmas Chalkboard stamp set.  I started with My Craft Spot's new Curvy Box SVG file and embellished it.
I stamped my Let It Snow sentiment and hand cut the paper around it.  I finished it off by adding glitter to the word snow and the snowflakes.  Then I added a twine bow and jingle bell at the top.
At the base, I cut a snowflake out of glitter paper from a SVG Attic file.  I added three buttons and more twine.

Hot Cocoa: MCS Day #3

Welcome to Day #3 of My Craft Spot's Christmas stamp release!  Thanks for joining me again today.  Today I am sharing what I made with the all-new Tiny Tags Christmas stamp set.  When I saw the Hot Cocoa sentiment I knew right away what I was going to make.  This hot cocoa holder from My Scrap Chick was the perfect match :)
Here is a closer look.  For the tag, I stamped the sentiment then layered that circle with a green one and used a Tiny Doilies 2 die cut as the base.  The finishing touches were the twine bow, jingle bell and Christmas Candy Sequins.  I also added glitter to the white snowflake and along the top of the frosty mug rim.

O Holy Night: MCS Day #2

This is Day #2 of My Craft Spot's Christmas stamp release.  Today all of the DT are using the O Holy Night stamp set.  It is absolutely gorgeous!

The first card that I made is very simple because I wanted to stay with the tranquil feeling of the designer paper.  The paper is from Authentique.  I added glitter to the trees for some extra sparkle!
My second card is one that I really, really love!  The stamp was absolutely perfect!  I used white embossing powder on it and the Nativity cutting file is from the Silhouette Store and was created by Lori Whitlock.  The paper I used on this card is The Paper Studio's Simple Elegance matstack.
Here is a closeup of the beautiful sentiment...
and the Nativity panel.

Coal For Christmas: MCS Day #1

I have been so fortunate to have been selected to be a guest designer for My Craft Spot!  I was asked to participate in their Christmas stamp release, which will be all week long.  This is what I created using their Naughty or Nice stamp set.
I used My Craft Spot's Tiny Doilies 2 dies for those red doilies.
The coal box is from SVG Attic's Stocking Stuff set.  I cut the top part using glitter paper and the bottom with regular black cardstock.  Here is a look at the card I made to go with the coal box.
I wrapped twine around the card for an extra touch of texture.  Here is a closeup of the stamp

Glittery Halloween Cards

I am working on using up odds and ends for my Halloween cards this year.  I received several of these glitter die cuts as part of a prize package last year and decided to use some up.
This first card is quite simple.  I added buttons in the top left corner and the center panel is popped up with foam tape.  The sentiment stamp is from Mark's Finest Papers.
On this second card, I didn't even add a sentiment on the outside since the die cuts and patterned papers created a scene and filled the whole front of the card.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Midnight Witch's hat

Today I am sharing a super fun witch's hat that I created from SVG Attic's Halloween Soiree kit.  I had to add some Orange Licorice trendy twine around it for that extra special touch!   All of the patterned papers I used were from Haunted Manor by Recollections.
It was easy to assemble and it holds a lot of yummy treats!
This is what it looks like opened with treats inside :)

Steampunk Potion Bottle

Today I am sharing a potion bottle that I created using the Midnight Manor Trio files from My Scrap Chick.  I usually make cute and fun Halloween things, but I had a lot of fun using Graphic 45's Steampunk Spells paper for this.
Here is what the top looks like...
And the bottom.  I wrapped Orange Licorice Trendy Twine around it several times.  It coordinated with the paper so well!
For the knob on the top I covered it in black rhinestones and wrapped more twine around the bottom half.  I added the bow of crinkle ribbon with a bottlecap on it.  For the bottlecap, I punched a design from the paper and used crackle accents on it to add to the vintage/spooky feel.  Then finally I added a skeleton tag that hangs from the knob.
I am entering this in the My Scrap Chick Halloween challenge, so if you like this project, please head over to My Scrap Chick's blog and VOTE for it by clicking on the tiny "Like" under the picture of it.  Thank you!!

Tombstone Card

Today I just wanted to share a quick Halloween card that I made.
The tombstone is a dimensional sticker that I won last year at this time.  The background paper is from Me and My Big Ideas and is a Halloween stack.  I used some purple glitter paper accents as well to keep with the purple glitter shadow behind the tombstone.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

BOO! Boxes

Hello all!  Today I am sharing a set of BOO! boxes that created with SVG Attic's Halloween Soiree kit.  I used Recollections' Haunted Manor for the boxes and the black glitter paper was from DCWV's Glitzy Glitter stack.
I had a lot of fun choosing the patterned papers I wanted to use on these.  They can be used with batter operated tea lights inside or you could put treats inside too!

Rose Love You Card

Welcome to World Cardmaking Day 2014!

Today I am participating in OWH Stars and Stamps world cardmaking day blog hop!
I created this card using patterned papers that I received from Hazel...Thank you!  The doily and rose die cut are from My Scrap Chick.  The sentiment is from Mark's Finest Papers and I added a bow of Trendy Twine around it.  I also popped the sentiment banner up with thin foam tape that is from Oriental Trading.  If you haven't seen that tape, you need to check it out!  It is perfect for OWH cards!  Finally, in the top right hand corner, I added three white enamel dots.
If you are inspired to make cards for OWH, please visit THIS page to see the current needs that Operation Write Home has.
