Hello all! I am on the Trendy Twine blog with a back to school post. Today all of my kids are heading back to school, and I am sure they will be starting soon where you are too. My projects today feature In The Navy Trendy Twine and printable focal points from Annie's Paper Boutique.
First up, I made a simple pencil treat bag. I added pencils that I had laser engraved with affirmation sayings into a 2"x8" zip bag, closed it, and added a Let's Start This Year Off Write Printable Bag Topper. I didn't want to take attention away from the sayings on the pencils, so I chose to simply wrap In The Navy Trendy Twine around the bag multiple times and tied it in a knot. Easy peasy!Next up, I created a small card to go with the pencils using a Happy First Day of School Print & Punch Tag as the focal point. It was layered with a die cut from Pink & Main's Card Cut Essentials Dies set 2 and adhered with foam tape to the base. For the base, I used scraps of patterned paper from Doodlebug Design School Days 6x6" paper pad and wrapped In The Navy Trendy Twine around the center. The only other embellishment I used was a couple Blue Berry Sequins.
Now you have a couple quick ideas for school kids using printables from Annie's Paper Boutique along with just a few other supplies!
Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:
