Graduation Layout

Hi everyone!  I am back with another ScrappyDew design team project.  I love the cuteness of their designs!  They are absolutely perfect for scrapbooking for my boys.  This is a double page layout with 8.5" x 11" papers.  It features cutting files from Graduation-2013.
This is the first page.  Look at all that kindergarten cuteness :)
I used the label that is from the SVG set to make the background for the title.  Then I made banners using the colors that were in the argyle paper and wrapped twine around it.

But there is a surprise...the top part of the label lifts up to reveal all of the kids' names!  I welded two of the label shapes at the top in SCAL2 to create that effect.
The second page shows close-ups of my proud graduate!  He was so excited!!
And finally a shot of the graduate boy from that set.  I used foam tape to pop him up and made confetti and streamers around him.  As for making the streamers and confetti...grab whatever scraps you have on your workspace, trim narrow strips, curl them and randomly add them to your layout.  For the confetti, find your paper puncher and empty it LOL!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Fishing Vest Gift Bag

This is just a project that I created to jazz up a very boring gift bag for my dad.  I don't like buying wrapping paper or gift bags at a high price, so I get them on sale and use my creativity to jazz them up.  For this gift bag I used the free fisherman's vest file  from SVGCuts.
I embossed different parts of the vest, used brown chalk around it and added real buttons to make it even more unique.  For the fishing pole I went out into my yard and found the perfectly curved stick :)  I added the twine, bobber and lure to finish it off.  The papers are from K&Company.
I really like how it turned out and I hope you do too!

Have a wonderfully crafty day!

OSW Cupcake Cards

I'm back with another set of one sheet wonder (OSW) cards that are based off of another tutorial by Seongsook Duncan.  Well, to be honest, it is actually a 2 sheet wonder.  These 12 cards were made with 2 sheets of 12x12 patterned paper along with the card bases and solid cardstock.
This is what each and every one look like.  Making multiple cards is what I like to do.  Once I get into a groove, I can make cards like nobody's business :)  The groove that I was in didn't actually turn out the same as the starting sketch, but I used a bit of "creative license" and I think it turned out just fine anyway ;)
Here is the stamped image I used.  I created SVG files for the cupcake in seperate pieces to cut them out with my Cricut and by stamping on colored cardstock, I don't have to do any coloring.  No fussy cutting, no coloring, I guess you could say that I am lazy  resourceful!  I think the embossed stripe is a cute touch as well as the flower punch with the pearl.  A sweet love/anniversary card for OWH!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
