Sweet Donut Card

Hello my crafty friends!  I took a rare moment to simply create a FUN card that made me smile.  Usually my projects are DT related, but I really wanted to take the time to enter the DCWV stackaholic challenge this month, so here is what I created for it!

 The patterned papers are from DCWV's Good Eats stack and the solid colors are from the DCWV Double Sided Cardstock stack.  The dies I used are GMD Loopy Rectangle, GMD Wonky Stitched Rectangle, and GMD Doily.  I used a sentiment from APB Smile stamp set, a bow of Tickled with Teal Trendy Twine, and GMD Beach Party Colors enamel dots to embellish.

SumMore Fun Mood Board #28

Happy Friday! Today is the start of a new challenge at the SumMore Fun blog with a new mood board (you can see it at the bottom of this post). Here is what I created for inspiration!

The stamp set that I used on this card is Raisin Boat's Strokes of Pride stamp set.  I stamped three stars on colored cardstock with VersaMark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.  I die cut them into squares and adhered them with foam tape.  The fourth star was stamped with Distress Oxides in Candied Apple and Faded Jeans onto the card front.

The sentiment is also from the Strokes of Pride stamp set and was stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black ink.  I added a few sequins with Lineco Adhesive.

Candle Gift Tote

Happy Monday morning!  I am on the SVG Attic blog today with this fun candle tote.  I made it for my son to give to his teacher for her birthday!

I used the following SnapDragon Snippets files on it:  Gift Tote for Fragrance Sphere Jar (I sized the file to 9" tall), Smooth Sledding Layered Tag (sized to 3.25" tall) and Flourished Apple (sized to 1.75" tall).

Other products used include DCWV's Celebration stack, Totally Lemon Trendy Twine, sequins, Glue Dots, and red line tape.  You can see a side view of the candle "cupcake" that is inside.  Isn't it adorable?!  I found this at Dollar Tree and knew I could dress it up for someone special.

First Communion Chalice Card

Good Morning!  Today is my day to post on the SumMore Fun blog. The card I am sharing with you uses Raisin Boat's First Communion stamp set.  I used 9 of the 14 stamps from the set on this card!  My son loved this card.  It is so shiny in real life!

All the stamps were stamped using Versamark ink and a stamp platform.  The silver is Zing! silver glitter embossing powder and the black is Zing! black glitter embossing powder.  The papers used are white and black cardstock, DCWV's Silver Leaf stack, and vellum.  Dies used include GMD Loopy Rectangle die, GMD doily die, and CC stitched circle dies.  Adhesives include foam tape and scor-tape.
