SumMore Fun Sneak Peek Day 2 ~Tangled Tinsel

Hello all!  Welcome to the new release week for SumMore Fun!  All the stamp sets you see will be available on Thursday, October 11th.  Today we get to showcase the new stamp set called Tangled Tinsel.  Here is the card I created from it.

I made it a shaker card by adhering a few layers of fun foam behind the purple circle and adding coordinating sequins.   The ornament and sentiment are part of the Tangled Tinsel set and were stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink.

These lovely snowflakes were also a stamp from that set. I randomly stamped them in gray ink, and Distress Oxides in Broken China, Wilted Violet, and Seedless Preserves.   To embellish, I glued on some sequins and Pearl Pen in Glitter Pink.

Halloween Cards

Hello all!  Today is my day to post for SVG Attic.  I send out Halloween cards every year, so that is what I decided to do for today's project.

The ornaments on the front of the cards (candy corn and pumpkin) are files from the JGW Halloween Ornaments Tree.  I cut them out at the imported size and simply cut out the rest of the card elements by hand.

The papers I used are all from DCWV's Spooky Halloween stack.  I embellished with Orange Licorice and Orange Limeade Trendy Twines as well as sequins.  The sentiments were from the APB Happy Halloween stamp set.

Trendy Bakers Twine ~ Halloween Treat Chutes

Hello all and happy Thursday! I am sharing the treat bags I made for the Trendy Twine blog today. This month we are showcasing Gray Licorice Trendy Twine, which is perfect for Halloween, and Skinny Candy Chutes.  I paired the two of those together in these Halloween treats!

I filled the Skinny Candy Chutes with candy corn and embellished with Gray Licorice Trendy Twine wrapped around the chute and attached a Lemon Tag-It.  The Lemon Tag-It comes with one hole punched in it, but I added another one to the opposite side of the tag so I could have both sides secured with the Trendy Twine.  I added Lime Orangesicle Trendy Page Dots around the holes on the tag-it.  The sentiments were stamped from the APB Happy Halloween stamp set and the finishing touch was adding bat sequins from Lime Licorice Batty Sequins.

50 Years Card

Hello all!  Happy first day of October :)  Today I am sharing a 50th anniversary card that I recently created.  

The patterned papers I used are from The Paper Studio's Simple Elegance 4.5"x6.5" paper pad.  The bottom paper was cut at 4x4" and I cut down 1.5" from the center top.  I folded each side down to add the white contrast.  The heart was cut from GMD Lacey Lattice Heart die and was popped up with foam tape.  The 50 years was a TPS Stick-a-bilites that I purchased at 75% off earlier this year.  I embellished the card with a tie of white seam binding.
