Easter Purse

I know it is after Easter, but my I wanted to show you the purses that I made for my nieces.  I used the Purse Sweet Treat Favors SVG files from My Scrap Chick.  I just resized the whole file to 12.5" tall x 9.3" wide.  When I broke apart the different pieces in SCAL, the actual purse file was 6.5" tall x 9.3" wide.  The purse at this size fits a snack size Ziploc bag perfectly.
The pretty flower I added to the top was one that I received as a prize package from Michelle on the ScrappyDew design team :)  It even has glitter and tiny little stamens in the center of the flower!
I really hope my nieces enjoy their treat purses.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Music Tile

I am so excited about this tile!  It is the first time I have tried using a background on any of my tiles and it turned out great.  I come from a musical family and this would be very fitting of my oldest sister especially.  I made the vinyl design in SCAL2 and cut it out on my Cricut.  If you are wondering where I get my vinyl, I buy most of it from H&H Sign Supply.  They have wonderful prices on larger amount of vinyl.  I wait to order until I need quite a bit since the shipping is on the high end.
I hope you enjoy it as well!

Puppy Card

When I saw this cute puppy from the Charm and Chance SVG Kit from SVGCuts I knew it would make a perfect card for any little boy!  I kept it very basic and stuck with the original SVG's except I used the plain collar instead of the shamrock one that you see in the picture of the kit.  I thought using metallic gold for his collar was a cute touch:)  The think I love about SVGCuts' card files is that they always include a file for an envelope as well, so if the card isn't a standard size, you don't need to worry about finding an envelope to fit it in.  So the polka-dotted paper behind the card is the envelope to match!

Happy Mail from ScrappyDew

I just wanted to give a big THANK YOU to Michelle, the Design Leader at ScrappyDew.  Last week she had a challenge through Facebook to create a ticket book with SVG's she designed.  I entered my Mario Bros. Book and I won this fabulous box of goodies!  It was such a mood lifter today after tons of cleaning, laundry, dishes, cooking, etc.  She has another challenge this week, in which she is giving away another box of goodies.  So don't waste any time!  Head on over to ScrappyDew's Facebook page and participate with the newest challenge that was posted on March 24th.

Here is what I received in my happy mail today :)
2 spools of ribbon, bakers twine, butterfly stickers, tiny bows, metal charms, adhesive doilies, 3D flower stickers, chipboard album pages, a dandelion embossing folder, and a 2 way glue pen.  Thanks again Michelle!

I hope you have a fabulous day!
