Easter Cross Cards

Hello all!  Here are the cards that I gave out to all the family for Easter.  I know, I am a day late, but I didn't want to spoil the surprise by posting these before they would have gotten them!

 This SVG file is from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons and it is called Easter Cross.  I think it looks like a gorgeous stained glass window!  All of those pieces are placed separately, which does take a bit of time, especially when making 10!  I popped up the cross on some foam tape for a little extra dimension.

 I kept the rest of the card simple, no sentiment on the front as I didn't want to detract from the beauty and reverence of the card front.

Trendy Twine ~ Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!  Today on the Trendy Twine blog my DT sisters and I have lots of Easter projects to inspire you.  Here is what I created.

I used Grape Fizz Trendy Twine, Limeade Trendy Twine, and Tickled Pink Trendy Twine to wrap around plastic Easter eggs.  I started by hot gluing the two egg ends together with hot glue to make sure they wouldn't come apart.  I also used hot glue at the tip of the egg to secure the twine end, then I painted half of the egg with mod podge and wrapped the twine down to the center of the egg.  I flipped the egg over and repeated the process from the other end of the egg and then coated all of the twine with mod podge so it would stay secure.

The basket that I placed the eggs in is from SVG Attic's SDS Hop To It set.

Outdoor Birthday Card

Hello crafty friends!  I am back with yet another birthday card.  No surprise there!  I seem to be making them all the time!  This one is for my husband's grandpa.  

 The layout of this card follows DCWV's stackaholic card sketch for March.  The papers I used are from their new Luxe Lodge stack.  It is full of great outdoor prints and some of the papers have a metallic copper treatment on them.  I used Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine and the sentiment is from KaiserCraft.

Sweet Birthday Wishes Card

If you have been following my posts for the last month, you have seen me use DCWV's Confetti Stack A LOT.  I just can't help it!  This is my absolute favorite stack right now!  This card uses those papers and was for my niece's 4th birthday.

 I used the Hello Sweet stamp set from Pink and Main for the sentiment and a full bow of Raspberry Cupcake Trendy Twine.  That yummy cupcake is cut from SVG Cuts' Breezy Backyard Lever Cards kit.  I embellished it with heart brads, gold stickles and homemade enamel dots.  It is popped up on foam tape.  The confetti at the bottom of the card is part of the Confetti Stack!  It is in little pouches in the back of the stack :)
