Square Butterfly Card

This card is my last one for National Scrapbooking Day.  I am glad I was able to play with paper even though it wasn't actual scrapbooking.

Let me start off by saying that the pictures really don't do it justice.  The patterned paper I used was from DCWV's Mariposa stack.  It is full of gold.  Gold glitter, gold leafing, etc.  It really is a gorgeous stack.
The sentiment is from Clear Dollar Stamps and I think it fits the elegance of this card perfectly.

I hope you had a great day filled with lots of paper and glue :)

  1. Elegance sums this up! I love love how you used ribbon instead of paper...now why didn't I think of that!! Thank you again for playing with me all day! Hope you had as much fun as I did! I hope to do this again in October for World Card Making Day!

See you tomorrow when the winners are announced and I give a little hint on what is to come in the world of challenge at Clearly iStamp.

  5. This is so beautiful! I am sure it is even more beautiful in person, as you say! (Aren't they always when they have hine on them?!). I love that paper you used - it has been one of my favorites for a long time, yet still remains on my wish list and not in my stash! I really must change that, soon!
    Great card!
