Early Childhood Education Tools

Happy Monday!  Do you have any pre-school aged kids or grandkids?  I do and being a SAHM, I feel like teaching my son should be at the top of my priority list, but I struggle to find new and interesting educational things for him to do.  Oriental Trading came to my rescue!
I used educational items and some craft items from Oriental Trading to make an educational "busy box".  I wanted a container that would hold his new learning tools, so I used a DIY Lunch Box Tin and decorated it using Adhesive Magnet Sheets, Neon Paper Pack, ribbons, Stick-Ems and Buttons, all from OT.  He spelled his name with the Magnetic Foam Alphabet Letters on the front.
He also used the inside lid to spell on with the foam letters.
The wood alphabet lacing beads were definitely a hit!  He spelled his name right away and it also helps with dexterity to lace the beads onto the included string.  There are A LOT of beads in this set, so plenty of spelling fun is in order with it!
I also added a couple Letters Dot to Dot activity books and Write and Wipe Letter Cards into the lunch box tin.  They fit perfectly!
Here you can see how well everything was fitting in the box!
Here is my little guy enjoying the Letters Dot to Dot activity book.  He was using a Transparent Glitter Stacking Crayon in this picture.
This is one of him using the Write and Wipe Letter Cards with the included dry erase marker.
Best of all, my 4 year old LOVED all of these new items!  He was begging to play with them as soon as I opened the box.  Any way that makes learning fun for my kids is a huge win in my book!  So make sure to check out the educational items at Oriental Trading.  I am sure you will find many things to use, just like I did!

The review of these products is based strictly on my opinion. Others may have a different opinion or experience with the products listed above. I was provided the samples free of charge by Oriental Trading Co. and I provided my honest opinion. No other type of compensation was received for this review.
