I am not normally a digi person. I have such a hard time figuring out how to use them without wasting a bunch of paper and ink! My crafty friend, Theresa, had a quick tutorial on her blog so I used that and good old Google to find out how to utilize the beautiful Foxy Lady digi papers for my card. After all, I wanted to use that darling mother and baby fox as my focal point! Here is what it looked like in my SCAL4 software. The card cutting file that I created can be seen on the right and what was actually printed/cut is on the left.
Here is a close up of that sweet image. The best part about the digi papers is that they were a perfect match! No trying to find patterned papers that didn't have the same scheme as the image. I used brown ink around all of the cuts to add definition and a bit of distressing. The oval is popped up with foam tape. Here you can see The sentiment that I stamped in black ink. I just love that font AND the sweet saying! I embellished with Black and Ice White Pearl Pen dots and it was complete! Make sure to stop by SumMore Fun this Friday to purchase the Foxy Lady stamp set and/or digi papers! Also available are Foxy Lady stickers, 6x6 papers and 12x12 papers :)
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
