I started by stamping a
Unity stamp onto watercolor paper with
Scrapbook.com hybrid black ink. Once that was fully dry, I watercolored the image with Distress Inks then die cut around the image with a
GMD Eyelet Elegance rectangle die. That die has the perfect holes to weave the
Totally Lemon Trendy Twine through! I love how it added texture and created another visual frame around the image. I added a sentiment from the
APB Friendship stamp set onto a kraft banner and glued a
die cut "mom" above it to make it a little more personalized. The sequins on the card are from the
Grape Fizz Sequin,
Raspberry Cupcake Sequin and
Sky Sequin mixes and were adhered with
Bearly Art precision tip glue. The whole front panel was then glued to a kraft card base that I had distressed with brown ink along the edges. I think this will be the perfect card to give my mom for Mother's Day!
