I'll admit, I didn't use to be a fan of mermaids. That all changed once I had a little girl plus a niece who really loves them! This card happened to be for my niece. The stamp set I used was a gift from Kendra, and it couldn't have been more perfect! Thanks Kendra!
I used a background of patterned paper from the Craft Smith Stay Magical paper pad then created the focal point with watercolor paper and ink to acrylic block then spritzed with water with Distress Inks in Salty Ocean, Peacock Feathers, and Shabby Shutters. The stamped with VersaFine Clair Nocturne, then heat embossed with Wow! Clear Sparkle embossing powder for lots of sparkle and shine! The stamp set is called Salty but Sweet by Sassy & Crafty. The sentiment was popped up with foam tape and the sequins and paper layers were adhered with Bearly Art precision tip glue.I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
Very pretty card, hugs, Lori m
